I am a mom of two little girls, ages 3 & 4 years old. I made this drawing channel with them in mind. I know that kids this age need to have slow, easy to follow steps that they can practice over and over. In addition to drawing lessons, I encourage them to draw from their own imaginations and try using different drawing mediums like crayons, markers, colored pencils, paints, etc. My kids have developed a love for art, and I hope yours do too! Hi kids and welcome to Easy Kids Drawings.
Today we are going to draw an umbrella.
This is a fun easy drawing for those little kids
who are just learning how to draw. Alright let's start by grabbing your
pencil and pinch it in your fingers and let's
get started. We're going to imagine a curved line
going up, curving around, making it very wide
and stopping on the other side. Alright go back to the other side and
now we are going to make a bumpy line. A little bump going up
and stopping. Another bump, another bump, another bump and just make bumps
until you hit the other side. There we go.
And now we are going to draw the top point of the umbrella
right in the middle of the top curved line.
Now we're going to draw curved lines from that point
to the little points in your bumpy line. Just keep drawing lines going from the
top middle part down to the side into
the little points of your bumpy line. And last we are going to draw
a cane in the middle. This is the little pole
that holds the umbrella up with a little curved part
that makes it easy for your hand to hold. And we go all the way back up
and there we go. We are all done with our umbrella. Good job! Was that easy to

Alright next, grab your crayons or colored pencils.
I have markers. We're going to color it in.
I'm going to color in fast forward so it looks like I'm coloring really fast
but you can push pause and take your time if you want.
Let's color this in rainbow colors. We have red
and orange and yellow and green and last part
blue. You can color your umbrella any color you want and I'm going to
color the pole in black. There we go!
Our simple umbrella is all done just in time
for the rainstorm that's coming in.
