Hello and welcome back to the channel. Unless you're new, then welcome. Today is going to be a
day in my life in Toronto. We are far from home today, but today first item is going to be a
photo shoot with my agency because their office is here in Toronto. As far as I know, we're doing
hair and makeup there, so I have no makeup and wet hair for now, but I'm gonna get bundled up
because it is very, very cold outside. Right now, it's like 30 degrees Fahrenheit, which is
about 20 degrees warmer than it was when I first got here. Layer number one, this.
It really is though. You see the vision, right? Yeah, yeah. All these are fine. Yeah.
I want to get a good shot of this. Wait, can you see me in the mirror when I did that?
Anyway, shoot was a success. There wasn't any specific like campaign for the shoot or anything.
We just thought it'd be a good idea to get some kind of updated portraits for my portfolio. It was
awesome. They had like a whole stylist, makeup, photographers, and everything, so everyone was
super cool, but it is now time to get ready for the gym. I'm back at the Airbnb because I'm
changing into some more gym appropriate clothes. I've been wearing sweatpants over my leggings
because that's how I stay warm. I was in such a rush this morning, I didn't have breakfast,
so I'm having like a super late brunch. We can just call it lunch. I'm so excited because I'm
stopping at my favorite place probably in all of Toronto. I don't come to Toronto without going
here and it's called Maha's. They have like a full restaurant location and then a cafe. I'm just
going to the cafe right now because it's kind of on my way to the gym. We'll walk over there. That's
the thing I love about Toronto is I'm always getting my steps in. I don't even have to try
just because it's so walkable and everything's like close enough to where it doesn't really
make sense to get an Uber. I basically just hit like 10k steps a day with ease. Assembling the fit.
I have this beanie which I love. Makes me look pretty cool but it also flattens my hair so much
so I might save this for later in the day. It's kind of how I roll. Shoes. Tote bag. Here's my
charm in case I stumble across any mobs. Let's get out of here because I'm hungry.
A honey cardamom latte. This is my number one favorite latte in the world. I know I probably
sound like I'm glazing but I mean every word. It's the best latte and I'm not even really a
big fan of lattes anymore. I also got the date grilled cheese. Every bite, I hope I don't jinx
it, but every bite is the perfect cheese ball. First bite. My belly is full and happy. Very
happy. So I'm going to the gym. Today's going to be an upper body day. Upper body is looking a
little different lately and I've been having so much fun with it again. Mostly like calisthenics
focus. Kind of working on getting my core a lot stronger. Pull-ups, dips, push-ups, and the dream
is handstand. That would be sick. So that's what today's workout is going to be looking like and
I'll include some highlights. Catch you at the gym. Upper body day is done and dusted. I want
to make a couple stops. I'm thinking a bookstore and like a thrift shop or two. I have my eye on
a book right now. I'm hoping they have it. Currently I'm reading Madonna in a fur coat
but it's a pretty short read and I'm about to finish it so I want to have something ready for
the next read. I'm thinking Giovanni's Room by James Baldwin. That's only if they have it. If not
I'll probably just look for something else. Okay we're back and let's review what we got. So first
off was the bookstore. It was the busiest I've ever seen it so I didn't even take out my camera.
They did not have the book I was originally going for which was Giovanni's Room by James Baldwin
but they did have this. Get a close-up of that. I have only read one other book by Dostoevsky
and that was White Nights which is a pretty short read. This is definitely a step up. This will keep
me busy for a while. And then for the thrifting I only found one thing but I really like it.
This cute top. It's like tie-dye. This color I love so much. It looks like the design was like
handmade because it's a little off-center just ever so slightly. I think it's super cute. Oh and
it's nice to just... I'm probably gonna read for a while now. I guess I'll catch you when it's
dinner time. It's time for dinner and we have a very special spot. It's kind of a spot that you
won't really find unless you already know or unless someone tells you I guess. And today I'm telling
you so it's very unassuming. Sunny's Chinese. A little eerie. A little empty. Smells like a thrift
store. I have a reservation so we should be all good. We made it. Let's go inside.
It's time now for the creme de la creme of Sunny's Chinese entire existence.
This is Hong Kong french toast. It's like a white milk bread that's deep fried and it has a black
sesame jam peanut butter situation going on. It's incredible. I tried making it myself and it was
not nearly as good so I had to come back and have the real deal. Oh my goodness that texture cannot
be replicated. Yep that's what I came here for. That's all for today. A day in my life in Toronto.
Thank you for watching. Don't forget to lift, laugh, and love and I'll see you in the next video. Bye!
