Tune in to Episode 4 of Motorcycles Through Mexico, and hear what my fellow tour goers felt about the trip as a whole.
Working on uploading some footage. Got all my gear here. We're about to load up and hit the road for
another day. This hotel was like a four or five star hotel. It was absolutely beautiful. And the
shower, rainfall from the ceiling. The best way to shower. We're going to go see the hotel
California. So I'm told, and I have not fact checked this, but apparently
this is not the hotel the eagles sang about. They did try to sue them.
And they lost. Eagles lost. The hotel won. It's a pretty big victory to beat the
beetles in anything. Yeah, eagles. Eagles. Did I say beetles? Beetles, eagles. There's a big
difference. Either way, big deal. The hotel California lobby. The hotel California room
next to the lobby. Look at that coffee table. The art room of the hotel California.
What do you think? Oh, I think I like that one better. The color's a little brighter.
75 bucks I had to pass. The fish have arrived. Perfecto. Don't get fresher than that.
That's how you like to see your seafood coming into the restaurant.
And yet, I think another cool place. Look at this. Let's get inside. All these cabanas,
double deckers, beautiful grounds. Hey, you're going to dig this place, buddy. Oh yeah.
Unbelievable. All right, Tyler, where are we at? El Triunfo. Old historic mining town. Once was
the biggest, most populated area of the south. Really? 10,000 miners. 10,000 miners. What you
got, man? What do we know about this place? Well, this was considered the capital at one point.
French miners, they came and established these mining operations here. Doing some work on the
lines. Tyler just said, you know, it's funny because in the U.S. it'd be like, no, you can't
go through here. But here, they just let you walk right straight through it. Don't step on the wires.
What do we got here? 46. 46 and 42. Obviously, the power's not working, so we can't get you
a better light, but that's pretty cool. The everyday ride is in here, he says. Oh yeah.
Looking good. You get a deer with this a year and a half ago. I just got it back on the road
months ago, and I decided to put the apes on it. You like them? I love them. Game chamber, huh? Love them.
Yeah. Hung the apes before. Never hung the apes? Never hung apes. Yeah. Let's take a tour. I just love the old
doors and old woodwork in these types of places. Look at this bench. Wow.
These are just the way these pillars are shaped. Tapered at the top. It's unreal.
That's a nice spot, isn't it? Let's see how the food is. Tuna burger. The pizza's half gone over
here, but it looks pretty good. The salad. Oh, the burger does look good. You want a nibble?
You want a third of my fish burger? No. No? Thank you. Let's see what we got. Very fine pizza. That's good beef.
And that, my friends, is a wrap. We've got an all-inclusive resort right here in the ocean.
I'll show you all around, but let's let's get the take. You happy you came? Yes. Was it worth it?
Yes, so awesome. Lady, you happy you made the trip? Yes, definitely. I thought you were going to finish
it with a big grand park job. Well, I finished it with a park. And you finished it with a ride
all the way to Cabo. I did. That's what's up. Thank you, man. Thank you. Epic journey. Thank you.
Thank you, sir. It's that time. Look at that. Perfect. And the room.
This is beautiful. And an ocean view again.
That, my friends, marks a ride from San Diego all the way to the tip of Baja
here in the beautiful Cabo. Hope you all enjoyed taking this ride with me. I know you haven't
enjoyed it as much as I have or the people who signed up to come with me, but hopefully
I did it justice on these videos and you all truly enjoyed it. If you did enjoy the video,
give it a big thumbs up. Let me know you'd like to see more unique road trips and adventures that
you could take yourself and absolutely enjoy. And before I go, big, big shout out to my friends
over at Ride Adventures. They have put this thing to, I mean, look where we're staying,
the whole way, the food, the people, the lodging, the riding, just very well executed. You can tell
they put a lot of time and work into it. So big thank you to them. And if y'all are thinking
exploring another country and you want to feel safe, maximize your time and enjoy the ride.
Consider giving my friends over at Ride Adventures a call. I'm going to end today's video like I used
to end videos long ago because this trip just feels fitting. So I'm going to leave you with
one thought and that is to dream until your dreams come true. The ride was great. The scenery
was second to none. You know, the Sea of Cortez was my favorite part. I didn't expect to have
as many curves and along the ocean and there's just really, really good riding. The best part
about riding on one of these bikes is you're kind of like in your own world, kind of traveling along
and you got in your own mindset. It's really a soothing, kind of a free feeling. The reason I
decided to book this trip, I enjoy doing what I can to become a better motorcycle rider. I like to
go outside my comfort zone and learn new skills and I love to travel. I love seeing the new sights.
There's nothing like riding in a new country on 95 horses out between your legs. We've been
looking forward to this trip for years. I had the opportunity to bring my son with me. Realized we
probably couldn't do it on our own, so we joined in with Adam and Ride Adventures and came on down
to Baja and it was an awesome adventure. I would do it again and maybe I will someday when I get
healed up. Don't ever ride electric scooters. It just got out from under me and I went one way,
the scooter went the other, two broken arms. 35 years affiliated with law enforcement at the
state and local level. Obviously, I was very concerned about how secure and how safe this
trip would be. I saw no criminal activity whatsoever. 95% of what you hear out there
is not true. Throughout the whole trip, not once felt any danger whatsoever. The meals on this trip
are so unbelievable. Fish tacos right on the seat. One guy had bone marrow. It was just awesome food.
Everywhere and everything we did just kept getting better and better and better. I think my favorite
dinner was the farm to table. It was just neat to go someplace that was kind of in the middle of
nowhere. It was great. It was authentic Mexican food. Kind of the best part was the dessert was
like nothing I've ever had. They served pancakes for dessert. I don't know what they made them out
of, but I've never tasted a pancake like that ever. Different terrains were great, just like changing
countries. I mean within an hour you were in a totally different environment. I think taking
the tour with this group is a very fantastic thing because you wouldn't know where to go.
You potentially could get yourself in a bind. You might run out of gas. You wouldn't know where to
stay for hotels. You don't have to worry about any of it. Ride Adventure is just outstanding. I mean
I wouldn't do it by myself. I would definitely go with the group again. Ride Adventure, they were
stellar. I mean it was, I'd say a 9 of 10 and nobody gets a 10. Tour guides were great. They
are really good riders. All of them are proficient. They're good at teaching. They're patient. They
went with the flow. Whatever the group wanted to do, they were open to making changes and
making it a good experience for everybody and I'd recommend them for sure.
