It's time for Fan Friday! ♪♪♪ ♪♪♪ Do the Snow Dogs ♪♪♪ I'm Amanda! This is Jinger and it's Fan Friday! Alright! After your comments from last week's Fan Friday video, we're going to switch things up. If you guys have a question you want to submit for Fan Friday, leave it in the comments below on this video. Then, next Fan Friday, all the questions will come from the comments on this video. We're going to give it a try and see if it works out. Slytherin House wants to know, which of the dogs birthday is coming up next? Shelby's birthday is next, but it's not until August 8th. Sir Granny says, what do you do with all the extra leftover treats? Including the occasional birthday cake? Do you throw it out eventually? No! Actually, all the treats we make, we put in air tight containers. We usually put it in the refrigerator and we end up using them all. As for treats you guys send us, if we end up with far too many that we know we can't go through, we actually will give some of them to my mom and dad for their dogs and to my brother for his dogs. Sucker Bailey 2.0 says, will you be at the Pet Expo? I'm not sure which Pet Expo you're talking about. If you're talking about the Novi Pet Expo this year, yes! We will be there. Madison Peckpee says, have you ever considered shaving your girls in the summer? This is actually a question we haven't been asked in quite some time. We have answered this many, many, many times. Never! Ever! Ever! Ever! Ever! Unless it is medically necessary. Should you shave a double coated dog? Huskies should never, ever, ever be shaved. Never, ever, ever! Instead, what you need to do is invest in a table over there, a blower, an arm and some good brushes. We're actually going to do a whole breakdown video on those pretty soon here. Groom your dogs and brush them. Don't shave them. Shaving them doesn't keep them any cooler. It doesn't make them less hot. All it does, is it destroys the natural oils in their fur and actually makes it so they can get sun burnt and makes it so when their fur grows back, it can grow back damage. So never, ever, ever, ever, ever shave a Husky. Why would you want to shave a Husky? Look at Memphis! Why would you want to shave that fur off of her? Why would you want to shave Shelby's fur off of her? Oakley decided to go hang out in the garage. Never, ever, ever, ever, ever shave a Husky. AKA Wonderland says, can you guys take a trip to California so you can meet some of your fans? Jamie and I will actually be at VidCon in California this June. That's in Anaheim and we will be there at VidCon. Sadly, the dogs won't be, but Jamie and I will be there. Maybe next year the dogs will make it to VidCon. The Wolf Trio says, we are wanting to take our dogs camping this summer and I know you guys go camping all the time. I'm curious to know how the girls do sleeping outside of their own house. What are some things you do to make camping easier for the girls? If it's the first time you're taking your dogs camping, make sure to take something with you that has something that has their smell on it. Like bring one of their beds with you or a blanket, maybe a couple of their toys. Just so they have a familiar smell. That usually helps. Once you've gone a couple of times, they'll pretty much figure it out. If you have something from your home that they normally sleep on, if you have a place to put it, bring it with you. Beds work really good, blankets work really good or even just a couple of their toys. Just to help them so they have a familiar smell where they go to sleep. Another camping question, Brew the Husky says, is it ok to camp with your dogs in a tent? Yeah, we used to camp with Shiloh in a tent all the time. Do you have any tips on taking dogs camping? We actually have a whole video that talks about how to prepare for camping with your dogs. I'll put a link to it up in the cards section above, so you guys can check that out in case you haven't seen it before. My biggest tip is have fun. Check around, make sure where you're going is a dog friendly campground. Make sure there's places they can go that are dog friendly, so they can have just as much fun in the adventure as you're having. Dejuan Johnson from Twitter wants to know, do you allow your dogs to sleep around the house instead of in their kennels? Oakley is really the only dog that sleeps in her kennel and the doors open all the time. So she pretty much has free range, but she chooses to sleep in her kennel. The other two dogs don't even have their kennels set up anymore because they choose to come sleep in the bed with us. So basically, it's their choice. We got some mail! We got some mail! And we're gonna open it! This box is from Terry with some bags of dog treats. And a whole bunch of treats! Look how cute they are! Who gets it? Who gets it? Somebody's gonna take it! Oakley took it! There she goes! Look at all the toys she's been piling in her pile over there. She took it! What you think Shelby? Want one? Wow! You always take the toys! You're like, I want the one Oakley has! Then, we got this fancy box! We'll have to open it up and see who it's from. Cherry Republic is actually a Michigan company. Dun! Dun! Dun! It is from Allison and it looks like... Oh my goodness! What a cool box! Some dog cookies! Memphis, I got... Hold on! Let me pull... Cherry dog cookies made with Michigan cherries! Allison, thank you for the awesome note! I just have to say, these cookies... Whoa! Hi Oakley! Smell amazing! Like, I want to eat them! They smell so good! Alright! Nobody steals Shelby's cookie! Let her eat it! Then, we got a box from Anthony. With some treats for the dogs. Also, some treats for Jamie and I. Including some habanero pickled garlic. Haven't tried that yet. Some red tomato preserves. Never even heard of that, but I'm a big fan of tomatoes. I'm definitely going to have to try those. Some treats for the dogs and then... Memphis'es favorite thing! Although, she's looking at... Shelby's treats. Ready? Ready? Ready? Ready? Hard to do with one hand and make a good popping noise. But, you liked it! We got a package from Serena. With a birthday gift for Oakley. Are you going to... I have to take the... I have to take the paper off of... Okay! Well... Alright! And... A happy birthday card! Serena wanted to know, how old Oakley is going to be. We don't really know. She's somewhere between the ages of nine and twelve. We got some drawings from Gracie. There's one of Oakley. There's one on the back. There's an Oakley pony. There's another Oakley. And a little note. It says, Oakley you need to get some ice cream. And a letter from Owen. A letter and a drawing from Mia. A letter from Emma. Emma wants to know, who's the leader of the pack? Jamie and I. And a drawing of Shiloh. And the other three girls from Alyssa. And a letter and a card from Bryce. And a letter from Jason. And a letter from Paige with some photos. Paige wants to know, are Huskies good with newborn babies? Um... No dog should ever be assumed that they're going to be good with a baby. Whether is a Husky or any other breed. You should never leave a dog and a baby unattended together. Cause you really just don't know what could happen. For the dog, the baby is something very new and maybe something they never experienced before. But a lot of people have Huskies with newborns. You just have to be responsible. As with any dog and a baby. And we got a letter from Vinny with a couple of questions. How many years have you been vlogging? We've been vlogging at Snow Dogs Vlogs for five years. We've been doing this channel for what? Seven years now? Why is Shelby a diva? I don't know. She just is. Ha ha ha! And also a drawing of Oakley. And a letter from Madison. And a card from Zoey. And a bracelet and a couple of other drawings. Zoey wants to know, what kind of food does Shelby like and Shelby not like? It depends on the day of the week. Shelby is very picky. And we got a letter from France. I believe it says Matthias. With a couple of questions. Can a Husky help with depression and a panic attack? I would think so. I mean, they make me laugh all the time. Ha ha ha! Is Memphis talkative? Not really. Not as much as Shelby and Oakley are. And we got a letter from Century. And Century wants to know, what kennel did we get Memphis from? We've actually answered this quite a few times. But, I don't think I'm going to keep answering it. Because, I think they are getting bombarded with emails. So... Yeah! Ha ha ha! And they also sent this awesome drawing. And we got a beautiful letter from Christine in Norway. Alright you guys!
