The EPIC Family Road Trip - SEASON 6•EPISODE 17 /// Thank you all so much for watching! We hope you enjoyed the video
General information. Client. Negative.
Welcome to another episode of the Epic Family Road Trip. The Empty Nest Edition.
Good morning. It is a beautiful morning here in the lower mainland of BC and we are going to meet
up with Sean again because he's going to take us into the mountains. We never want to miss
a chance to collaborate with other YouTubers especially in in our same genre and I think if
we spend some time together we're going to have a good time but we're also going to learn a lot
from each other. I love you guys. Love you. Thank you. Thank you. Can't wait to see you guys.
So what do you want to do Lando? Do you want to hit the trails or you want to stay in the city?
I'm going down a 15. Oh wow.
I'm from the Storytel now and I think the the end destination is a hot
hot spring. It's a natural hot spring so that's kind of cool. We've got a good day for it. Right Lando?
I can't get over it. The snow. The water. In Colombia you never cease to amaze us. I mean
the island's gorgeous. A lot like this on the island but the mainland is really no different.
You just get off the paved road and head into the mountains and there's beauty in all directions.
Lando's got a big uphill going there. So this is one of those spots. We're not camping right here
but I'm going to mark it for you for the Patreon family. You would definitely want to check this
out. What a view. I always like to go and scout out and see if there's any rubbing on trees or
anything like that. So nothing here but we heard that there is elk in this area.
It is just breathtaking here. Gorgeous. It's a little emotional because we had such a beautiful
time on the island and in BC and this on Pete's birthday. What a special day this is and
just knowing we're almost gonna be seeing the kids soon. Yeah I just feel like a kid
on Christmas Eve you know. But anyways yeah so I hope Pete's having an amazing birthday.
It is what a trip. This is one for the books for sure.
Drive down there but it looks like there's camp spots all along this lake so that's some
absolutely beautiful spots with waterfront and it's along a logging road which is
we've seen a couple of trucks today so but at night it would be dead quiet.
This is the area to explore if you're ever in the woods.
Wow what a spot to camp out here.
So you came over this last year? Yeah. When there was like how many feet of snow? Exactly a year ago
I've got a video on it. I came here it was covered in snow and all these trees were down
and we just spent a couple hours with chainsaws cutting through and but you can see look at all
the dirt that came down here. All the dirt and trees in this little gorge that came through here.
So yeah I've got a video called the roads of clear creek that's all about coming through
this landslide. It's a pretty good one. Hopefully there's none tonight we can just get out of here
This is kind of a cool setting. We're way up in the mountains.
This is at the end of the trail we were driving today. We're sitting in a hot tub.
On your birthday. On my birthday. Happy birthday. Thank you. A logger lived in this cabin and they
discovered the hot springs and over here where there's this big rectangle they built like a
olympic-sized swimming pool so she could swim in so that's why there's this big pool looking
here and then I guess the loggers built these wooden tubs if you look at there's old pictures
I can send them to you if you want to throw them up on the screen the old pictures of very similar
to this round wooden tub over here original cedar hot tub yeah built by loggers most likely and then
over the years it's been taken care of by four-wheelers and you know evolved over time and
a buddy of mine brought up this blue tub and this wooden tub over here is a memorial for
someone from a ram club so I have a ram logo on it very neat yeah well it's a it's a nice
little spot thanks for taking us up here Sean all right no problem I love it up here this is
kind of unique I mean we didn't know what to expect you know you head up into the mountains
and you end up in a hot tub that's pretty cool and there's no resort there's no electricity
it's not like these are being powered by a hot water heater all natural all natural and it's at
least 100 100 feels like 103 just aired up our tires we'll get back on pavement for a little
bit make sure you check out Sean from the story till now he's gonna have his version of this trip
Teddy from unwinding roads we had a lot of fun up there it was a great way to spend my birthday
the only way it would have been better is if the kids were with us but we are now hitting the road
on a journey to meet up with the kids and reunite as a family Vandy's parked over there because
I can't drive it across the border right now so it is being shipped with a obviously a vehicle
shipping company in the next couple of days the motorhome is going into storage and there's
thankfully a storage facility at this place we got the last site arranged that as soon as we got here
so I'm driving it now into storage and then we're all getting into Worsley we're going to go down
to the airport spend one night in a hotel general information my client negative
of course I'm negative but still just a little nervous everything depends on it and in the
morning I fly across the border to the U.S. and Carol drives because she's an American citizen
and we meet up and then we drive and meet the kids that's the plan we'll let you know how it all goes
and in the meantime we'll see you down the road
