Jessica Pegula vs Yuliia Starodubtseva 2026 Charleston Final WTA Match Highlights

A WTA final and she will begin. Stara Dubceva coaching for 10 hours. Brilliant from Pegula, dropped in. Beautiful tennis. She has been one of the stories of the week here, Stara Dubceva, but after a bright start kind of lost her way the last four or five games. Pegula just doing the basics really well and that's a solid opening set. 6-2. Coming to the final you are tired. That's more like it. It's truly world class from Pegula. Difference between 30 all and 15-40. That's how you hit a slice. No let up at all. Incredible tennis, making all the right decisions. I think if you Stara Dubceva, she probably feels. Of course she made that. There was never any doubt. Championship point. So good. She saved the match points and now a fourth championship point. What a week. The defending champion claims the title again in Charleston and no one has won more matches this year and the WTA tour than Jess Pegula. What a week though for Yulia Stara Dubceva. Her maiden WTA final but the week in the end belongs to the top seed.
