Brick Architecture House This contemporary cinematic house in Goiânia was designed for a young businessman inspired by travel and science-fiction architecture. The residence is defined by the intersection of three sculptural volumes, creating a bold and fluid composition with strong spatial hierarchy. Prestressed concrete slabs extend into balconies, seating areas, and circulation paths, while a striking metal structure acts as both support and pergola, adding rhythm, shade, and visual continuity. The ground floor features an open-plan social area with living room, kitchen, home theater, and wine cellar connected seamlessly to the outdoor balcony and pool. Upstairs, a private retreat includes a spacious primary suite, walk-in closet, separate bathrooms, and a large terrace with skyline views. With materials such as board-formed concrete, wood, stone, steel, and glass, the house balances cinematic atmosphere, luxury, and modern architectural design.
Conceived for a young businessman passionate about travel and contemporary architecture,
this residence explores the idea of a cinematic house, a home shaped by atmosphere as much as
by function. Inspired by a residence featured in a science fiction film, the project translates
this reference into an architectural language that is bold, fluid, and highly personal.
The composition is defined by the intersection of three volumes, whose overlap creates a clear
spatial hierarchy while giving the house a strong sculptural presence. Pre-stressed
concrete slabs reinforce this sense of movement, extending to form balconies, seating areas,
and circulation paths around the main body of the house.
One of the project's most distinctive features is the metal structure that links the upper
and lower slabs. Acting both as structure and architectural gesture, it transforms into a
pergola over the barbecue and pool balcony, introducing rhythm, shade, and lightness to
the front facade. This same element continues toward the rear, where it frames the covered
garage and strengthens the visual unity of the project. On the ground floor, social life unfolds
in a fully integrated space that combines living room, kitchen, home theater, and wine cellar,
all connected to the balcony through sliding panels that disappear into the walls,
allowing the interior to open entirely to the outdoors. The upper floor is conceived as a
private retreat centered around a spacious primary suite with a large walk-in closet
and separate bathrooms. A generous terrace protected by a sunroom extends the bedroom
outward, offering a quiet space to enjoy views over the skyline of Goiânia. Materially, the house
combines board-formed concrete, slatted wood, rough stone, steel, and expansive glass surfaces
to articulate its volumes with precision and warmth. The result is a residence that feels
both powerful and refined, a contemporary home where architecture, landscape, and lifestyle
are brought into balance.
