Siberian Husky Dog Food Discussion!

Alright, so we get asked this question all the time. Probably every day. What do you feed your dogs? Well, we used to feed our dogs Canaday. We fed them Canaday All Life Stages, but we have recently switched their dog food to this. Dr. Tim's All Life Stages formula. This is Dr. Tim's Kinesis formula. Does the bag smell good? Does the bag smell good? Some of you have asked me why we chose to switch dog foods. Well, Dr. Tim is actually from Michigan. I did a lot of research on his food in comparison to what we were feeding the girls and it actually had a bit of a better rating. It had some better stuff in it than Canaday does. They're a smaller company and I like the fact that Dr. Tim is from Michigan and I want to be able to support a Michigan family since we're from Michigan. So we have switched to Dr. Tim's food and the girls love it and right now it's dinnertime. So let me fill their bowls and give them some food and then I'll tell you a little bit more about Dr. Tim's food. And by the way, no, this video is not sponsored by Dr. Tim's. So I thought I would do a whole video on what we feed the dogs. That and I still have a cold and didn't know what else to do for a video today. While I'm at it, I'll show you guys the dogs food bowls. That one's Memphis's. That one's Shelby's. And that one's Oakley's. Oakley and Memphis both have slow feed bowls. Memphis's is a little bit different than Oakley's. I bought it because it was smaller. This one was a little bit too big. She was still able to wolf her food down. But I have two dogs that like to eat super super fast and then Shelby who eats like Shiloh used to, like a little princess. Memphis gets fed in her kennel because she even with the slow feed bowl she still kind of eats fast. So she gets fed in her kennel and I shut the door so she's stuck in there. The other two girls get fed over here. There's Shelby eating her food and there's Oakley eating her food. She still eats it pretty fast even like that. So Dr. Tim is actually a veterinarian. He went to Michigan State University School of Veterinary Medicine. He has a veterinarian's office in Marquette, Michigan, which is up in the Upper Peninsula. Another thing I like about the food is it's made in the United States and it's used, they use only North American sourced ingredients. So like the chicken and everything else that's in it is all from North America. They don't like buy stuff from China and then put it in their dog food. So I really liked that. If you have like a small feed store, like if you're in, if you're in Alpena and you're watching this, you can get this at Cash and Carry Feeds. But if you have like a small local feed store, that's usually the easiest place to find it. I always suggest like going to a local store first before going online. If anything, if you can't find it at a local feed store, Chewy.com does carry it. And they have that subscribe and save thing where you can have it automatically shipped to your house if it's something you want to switch to. I really like it. The girls seem to be doing really well on it. They've been on it for over a month now, I believe. This is the, this bag looks a little bit smaller. This is the 30 pound bag. They didn't have any of the 40 pound bags at the store. So I ended up getting the 30 pound bag. But the next time around, or their 44 pound bags next time around, is what I will be buying. See how slow Shelby eats. She's like, I'm just a little princess. Hi fluffy tail. She eats just like Shiloh did. Where Memphis is like, I have to get every last niblet. Every one, she's checking each, see how she checks each one. I think you ate it all, honey. See you now. Oakley usually finishes first and then Memphis will finish and then Shelby, whoo, sunlight, will be over there finishing her food. Hey fluffy butt. What's up? So anyway, there you have it. That's what we feed the girls. Dr. Tim's Kinesis. Dr. Tim's also has a grain-free formula and he has one called Momentum, which is for higher active dogs. There's a few different kinds. You can go to their website and read more about it if you want and read like all the ingredients and stuff like that. It's an all-natural dog food. Again, no corn. None of that by-producty stuff.
