7am WHATABURGER BREAKFAST & Food Tour of Netflix's NEW "Netflix Bites" RESTAURANT in Dallas Texas!

Hey guys, Mike Chen here in Dallas, Texas. Dinner tonight is gonna be somewhere strange. I have never seen anything like this before. Check this out. I am at Netflix House. And this is a place that Netflix opened with their own restaurants inside. So here we got everything from Squid Games to One Piece to Wednesday, Stranger Things. I have no idea what to expect. It's two floors. So downstairs are like two live shows that they said you can interact with, you can like participate in. It's like a live action game. It costs 45 bucks. But then upstairs, there's a bar right there. Oh, there's an arcade over there. Let's see what's in the arcade. We play arcade. Okay, it's not a big arcade. You can play Love is Blind. You can play Wednesday, a little grabby game. Catch yourself a spider. Love, Death, and Robots. I don't know what this is. Hey, Sakamoto Days. Oh, this is the Squid Games. K-pop Demon Hunter Dance Battle. That's very appropriate. One Piece. Floor is lava, of course. Oh, there's a Stranger Things video game. Happy Gilmore 2 Golf Game. This one is free. Oh my gosh, you can play as Happy Gilmore and fight a gator. No way. Let's dance, lizard. Oh, no bloody way. Come on, come on, come on, Happy. Come on, Happy, you got this. Oh no, oh no, oh no. Oh, there you go. Happy wins. So this is the bar here, and this is the Netflix restaurant called Netflix Bites. Wow, they got a nice pizza oven. Let's talk about the experience. It feels pretty cool. Feels like you're walking into like a pretty surreal world. You know, like you're just surrounded by things you're familiar with, all the shows you're familiar with. I've never seen Bridgerton Season of Love. They really recommend this meal set, which comes with cucumber tea sandwiches, smoked salmon cream tea sandwich, scone. So basically like an afternoon tea set. And then you have the Netflix Bites menu. Ooh, so there's onion dip, Netflix plot twist. Oh, that's just a pretzel. Red bite, green bite. Your fate involves fried chicken dip. So this is fried chicken, I guess, two types of dip and sauce. Salt, fat, acid, tinned fish, which is grilled bread and fish. There's Emily's Italian plain salad. Selling Caesar. There's pizzas, club sandwiches. There's a burger, fish sandwich. Reading past the puns and everything else. It's basically a diner. Pizzas, burgers, salads. Oh, there's chicken and waffles too. There's actually a lot of stuff on here. Then you've got a dessert menu in the back. So there's butterscotch, popcorn cake. I think I'll do what they recommended, which is the Bridgerton Season of Love. And then I'm thinking on a smash burger. WWE smash burger, of course. Maybe a pizza. I feel like you really have to be a fan of the show to get the full experience here. It was kind of like trying to decide to get the food I want or get the food from the show that I want. Like there was a Hunter X, like a kimchi bun. I didn't really want a bun, but I wanted something from Hunter X Hunter. So my onion dip is here. Oh, this is from the show Glass Onion. So that's why the onion dip's in a glass. It's from the Knives Out series with Daniel Craig. So it's chips and onion dip. Oh, there's a lot of onions in this dip. You can tell there's crunchy onions on top and it looks like caramelized onions in the dip itself. This is way better than I thought it was gonna be. I don't think I've ever sought out onion dip before. Oh, this is a pretty good onion dip. Pretty good chips too. There's a lot of caramelized onions in this dip. Like there's a lot, but at the same time, it's not like overwhelming or anything. Tastes pretty good with a combo of crispy onions and the caramelized onions. Pretty good. Netflix mixed onion chips. Pretty good chips. This is way better than I thought. I was like, onion dip? Yeah, how good could it be? Pretty good. This might turn out to be like a really good smash burger. So this is the second dish that I got. Double smash burger, WWE doubles. Wait, is WWE on Netflix now? I'm so behind. Let's be honest here. This is not a bad looking smash burger. Looks like a pretty crispy crust. Melts of cheese, nice and gooey looking. It's a pretty good size smash burger as well. This pizza just showed up. This is a gnarly, gnarly pizza. It actually looks like it could be very good. And I see my tea coming from my Bridgerton set. WWE official smash burger. This looks like a pretty juicy, delicious burger. Especially the nice crispy edges. I'm actually pretty excited to dig into this burger. I'll tell you now, it's not a bad smash burger. Whoa, that's a Bridgerton? Yeah. Whoa, can I get a Bridgerton mask with my Bridgerton afternoon tea thing? There's actually a really nice crispy edge to this burger. It's pretty gooey and cheesy. Party's not bad. I really didn't know what to think. I figured, you know, the food might just be like a side note. This is not a bad burger. Like I said, the onion dip is pretty good. I mean, this is not sponsored by Netflix or anything. I'll tell you if this is bad. Not bad. Way better than I thought. That's better than a lot of the smash burgers I've had in my life. Okay, so this I'm really excited about. This is the actual recipe from Chef Ann Kim from the show Chef's Table Pizza Edition. So Chef Kim created this pizza or the recipe for this pizza. Look how interesting it is. It's a pickled pizza with fresh dill and potato chips. And look at the crust. This is a pretty beautiful looking pizza crust. Like nice and airy and crispy, a toasty bottom. This looks like a pretty solid pizza. There's some caramelized onions on this as well. The cheese is nice and stretchy. I have high hopes for this pizza. I like this pizza. This is really not a bad pizza. It tastes like a pretty solid brick oven pizza. The dough is really not bad. Again, nice and airy. Got a good undercarriage. Tons of Parmesan cheese. Gives it a nice nutty flavor. I like the crunch of the potato chips. And this is not the first time I've ever had a pickled pizza. I actually like pickled pizza and dill's one of my favorite things in the world. A little sweet from the caramelized onions. The ranch sauce is nice. Overall flavor's pretty darn good. Like everything from the crunchy chips to the sweet onions, the crispy pickles, the dill, and the nutty Parmesan. This is good. If you ever want to try a surprisingly delicious pizza that's not your normal pizza, like it's not your normal cheese or pepperoni, this is a really good pizza. When they first brought out this pizza, I didn't know it was from the show chef's table or related to the show chef's table. I thought it was from Stranger Things, you know? Because, you know, pickled pizza, Stranger Things. I would recommend giving this thing a try. And I wonder, take my crust, dip it back into the onion dipping sauce. Hey, I think that works too. I mean, seriously, even the crust is good. Even if I'm grading this on like a pizza restaurant scale, it's a pretty good pizza. And that's a pretty good burger. Also, people here are really nice too. That's always a plus. All right, this is kind of a little out of order. Usually like the afternoon tea comes before dinner, but it's such a pretty teapot. This whole thing's really pretty. It looks like a cream cheese sandwich, cucumber sandwich, scone. There's a little macaron, jam, butter, there's sugar. You get a choice of black tea, green tea, or herbal tea. Got some black tea. That usually goes good with sweet things. Little cucumber sandwich, feels so British. Yeah, my advice, if you are gonna get this, definitely order this before the more savory foods come out. After the pizza and burger, everything just kind of tastes really light to me. This looks like the smoked salmon cream cheese sandwich. Not bad. I like smoked salmon. I like the cream cheese. It feels very delicate and light. Is it as good as the burger and pizza? No. Yeah, I don't think it can be. It's just a cucumber sandwich. So scone, I guess you're supposed to add some jam to it. I don't know what the proper way to eat scone is. I really like the scone. I wonder if they make their own scone. I'd be really impressed if they made their own scone. This is a good scone. I mean, I might not know what a good cucumber sandwich tastes like, but that's a good scone. I thought this was butter. I think it's for the sandwiches. Yeah, I think that's mayo. I almost put mayo on my scone. You know, sitting here, having some scone and some tea in the world of Netflix. Actually, it's pretty fun. That's pretty good tea too. Check this out. A little banana caramel tart. I'm just glad I got a whole pot of tea. This is good. It's so freaking light. Whoever they got doing their pastries, knocking it out of the park. This was actually a really good recommend. I mean, I think the sandwiches are just okay. There's little pastries with tea. What would they say in England? It's simply delightful. I think overall, I am really surprised by how good the food is. I was fully ready to just knock this like a local McDonald's, but the dip was good. The pizza was good. The burger was good. The pizza really surprisingly good. Like really good. I think the only thing I wasn't really into was the cucumber sandwich, but that's probably just because I'm not British. And like I mentioned, everyone's so nice here. The servers are really nice. Like they're very attentive. And I know right now this place is focusing on Stranger Things and Squid Games. Now I kind of wish I saw the last few seasons of Stranger Things and Squid Games. I only saw the first season of Squid Games. Any good? Should I watch it? Let me know in the comments below. And bottom line, the food, honestly, I thought it was going to be a filler episode, but it turned out to be a hit. All right, it's dinner time. And I cannot believe this place is now in Texas. I'm pretty sure this is the same Angie's where I got like the $6 lobster rolls back in Phoenix a few years ago. I'm sure it's going to cost more than $6 now for a lobster roll, but let's check this place out. You order from this window. I don't know. It has like other stuff now. So this is all rice bowls and naan. Boy, I thought they had lobster rolls. Oh yeah, here it is. Okay. Three ounce, one lobster roll meal. $11.99 for snow crab roll. Three ounce chill lobster roll meal for $11.99. You can get a fried shrimp meal. Okay, there's a snow crab roll for $9. Oh, $10 lobster roll. Okay. It was like $6.99, now it's $9.99. Not bad. Where else in the world can you find a lobster roll for 10 bucks? Oh yeah. I remember you can get spicy honey on this. This is the chill lobster. I wonder if they have like a... So if you want the warm lobster, it's $11. Let's go for the chill. $10 lobster roll with some lemon butter. You know what? This other stuff they have here, this is super, super value for money stuff. Look at this. Quesadilla for what, two, three bucks? You can get a protein bowl for $6.99. Surf and turf bowl for $10.99. Oh, supreme crunch for $6.99. If you want steak for shrimp or $4.99 for seared falafel. Wow, this is such a great deal. How can you pass by In-N-Out burger without stopping by and grabbing one? Okay. Got a lobster roll and a couple of In-N-Out burgers because you can't just get one. I mean, how many of you guys can go to In-N-Out and just get one burger? I personally think that's very difficult. Waterline impossible for me. And this right here is my lobster roll with a little sack of butter. Cannot believe Angie's came to Texas. You guys are so lucky here in Dallas. Butter on, look at this. Lobster roll for under $10. Where in the world? Giant chunks of lobster, three ounce lobster roll. How amazing is that? Fresh, sweet lobster on a toasty, buttery roll. Like giant chunks of lobster too. Sweet and buttery and also perfect. I love it. 10 bucks, lobster roll. You can't beat that. And of course, In-N-Out double double. I don't know how you guys get your In-N-Out burger but for me, it has to be mustard grilled with grilled onions. That is just the most perfect burger. I actually should have start eating this first because lobster's cold anyway. In-N-Out just has the best buns. It's actually a little crispy. I think the most I've ever done was eat six of these in one sitting. I think I can still do it. Like, I mean, this thing is half done. Feels like nothing. This goes down so easy. You guys have so much good food here in Texas. I'm so jealous. Really fun food day today. My flight is early tomorrow morning. See you for breakfast. Good morning. It's about 7.30 in the morning. My flight is in about an hour. Luckily, luckily, there's Whataburger. It's open 24 hours a day. How incredible is that? And of course, everything is available right now. This is so cool. I got their Monterey Melt. And last biscuits and gravy before I leave Texas. It's hefty, it's piping hot. So I know this is freshly, oh, it's so big. I am gonna miss seeing burgers of this magnitude outside of Texas. This is, seriously, this is how big a whopper used to be. Melted cheese with chilies, onions. This looks like a phenomenal burger. Like a messy burger, but a phenomenal burger. Oh my gosh. It's piping hot. You can see the steam coming out of it. I'll tell you right now, when a Whataburger is piping hot, it's unbeatable. It's like one of the greatest fast food burgers. Look at this. Gooey cheese, juicy patty. And this is a patty that actually tastes like beef. Like a real good quality beef patty. It's so good. Biscuits and gravy. Not as good as the last one I had, but not too shabby. Goes good with my burger. I'm gonna miss this. This is what a fast food burger should taste like. I gotta hurry up and eat, get to the airport, or else I actually may miss my flight. Of course, this has been another just amazing food trip. Like so amazing. Every time I come to Texas, new barbecue to try, new restaurants to try. Love it here. I like coming here when it's not crazy hot. As always, I'll place one, two of these down below for you guys.
