You all right bud? You gonna come over and see what we're doing?
Noah, you need to get down. You don't ride the horse.
Noah and Ollie are just like two mischievous teenage boys. Noah has one signature move
whenever he wants Ollie's attention. He'll nip at his feet, tug on his tail,
or even leap onto his back. And Ollie always reacts the same way.
What you doing? There's Noah.
Shaking his head as if saying, bro, not today.
Spend just five minutes with them and it feels like you're watching a live comedy show.
When Ollie first came to us, I honestly had no idea how he'd get along with Noah.
We weren't even planning on having a horse at all. But one afternoon, our local pastor
pulled into our driveway with a horse trailer and asked if we could help him out.
He couldn't keep Ollie because he had a mare on his property, and Ollie was a stallion.
Now you're looking very handsome this morning. Yes, you're looking very handsome this morning.
So we agreed, brought him to our barn, and just like that, we suddenly owned a horse.
Ollie had only been around other horses during competitions. He loved being close to me,
but there was always this quiet sadness in his eyes, like he was missing something.
Oh, Ollie, I just brushed you this morning. Oh, that's a good roll, dude. That's a good one.
Not long after, the pastor called again. This time, he had found a donkey someone

but something deep down told me that Ollie needed a friend. And I was right.
The moment we left the donkey, Noah, out into the field, they both bolted into a full run,
playing and chasing each other like lifelong buddies. Ollie was showing off,
Noah was trying to keep up, and we just stood there laughing, saying,
what on earth are you two doing? What are you guys doing?
By the next morning, I walked into the barn to find Noah standing inside Ollie's stall
as if he owned the place. They had chosen each other instantly. Noah quickly took the role of
He's sneaky, curious, and always planning his next prank.
We're not playing. Yeah, tell him to stop playing the wheelbarrow game, man.
Noah, get off of him. Ollie, on the other hand,
is the calmest, most gentle stallion you'll ever meet. What are you doing? I see your lip.
Watching them together is pure joy. Even though they're different species,
their bond is incredibly real. They're the same in all the ways that truly matter.
Seeing them play, rest, and simply enjoy life together fills my heart every single day.
