Top 5 Paul Merson Moments on Soccer Saturday

Michu, uh Chico, sorry Jeff, twice. Once he's hit the bar where Rob Green was nowhere, and then the next time, another corner, Green punches it straight away to this time to Chico, uh to Michu, sorry, and he smashes it against the ground. Chico, Michu. It's Chico time! It's the three Scrooges, isn't it? And he puts it across the bar and then Routledge over the bar, Jeff. It's still 1-0. The three Scrooges! Yes, we're with you for the rest of the season, folks. I think the keeper's got to get it. He's gone straight into the far post, far corner, and my front tooth just fell out. There's Bellassi, right at the far post, diving in, just misses it. Otherwise, he has an easy tap in. Ball's coming in the box now. What a save, Ciproni. Ciproni. What a save, Jeff. What a save. What a save. What a header by Fernandinho. But what a save, what a save by the goalie. Yes, Ciproni. Julian Ciproni. Let's go off to the Stadium of Light, where one of the keepers has been in early second half action. What was the name of that keeper, Paul? It was a great save, Jeff. The ball gets whipped in and Berrini flicking, flicking, flick header, glides it into the far post and there's, there's the goalie, uh, who goes straight across his goal, Ciproni. Yay. Ciproni. And he makes a great save, Jeff. The keeper, nil-nil. First time you nailed it, don't try and overdo it, man. Nail it once, leave it. That's the advice. The Conference Southside 4 are more in trouble against Brentford now. Brentford have got a second goal just before half-time. Harry Forrester with his fifth of the campaign. I have to tell you, the reason we've been busted is because, uh, is Paul Mercer has been looking forward to this giant sandwich that he's, he's got in his hands and he's managed to pick it up and drop the entire content out of the middle of it on the floor. So all he's got left in it now, Mercer, you just see, is a couple of pieces of tomato. That's all that remains.
