Hey, Blaster and I were just having the most fun
out in the forest with our dinosaur pals.
You know, dinosaurs,
they have the coolest, most special powers.
Some of them, even though they were small,
were some of the most ferocious and could go the fastest.
And some of them were so big
that they could reach up way up there into the trees.
Gosh, the powers that dinosaurs have
are so awesome.
I don't know which power I would choose
if I could only have one.
Hey, Blaster, that's a good idea.
What if you, me, and Blaster played
Would You Rather Dinosaur Edition?
Awesome.
And hey, this path is the perfect place to go discover
which dinosaurs we're gonna learn about first.
Come on.
All right, let me explain how the game works.
I'm gonna give you two superpowers
from two amazing dinosaurs.
And then you have to choose which dinosaur power you want.
Oh, and I see our first dinosaur right here.
It's the Brachiosaurus.
It had one of the longest necks of any dinosaur.
And it lived 150 million years ago.
The Brachiosaurus weighed a ton.
Actually, way more than a ton.
It could be as much as 20 elephants.
Wow.
And to feed that big body,
it had to eat all of the plants and leaves it could find.
Good thing it had one of the longest necks
in dinosaur history,
so it could munch on leaves that otherwise
would be really hard to get.
Having a long neck, now that's a cool superpower.
But take a look at our next dinosaur.
Do you know what this one's called?
That's right, an Ankylosaurus.
The Ankylosaurus' superpower,
a lot of people think it's this tail,
which is a cool superpower.
But this slow-moving animal had to have
another layer of protection to keep it safe from predators.
And that's where its armor comes in.
The Ankylosaurus' armor is one of the most powerful
of all dinosaurs.
It could shield and block and keep the dinosaur safe,
no matter who was attacking it.
So I have a question for you.
Would you rather have the armor of an Ankylosaurus
or the long neck of a Brachiosaurus?
Good answer.
All right, let's go to our next location.
Here we go.
Oh, blaster, look what it is.
It's not a pterodactyl, it's a Pteranodon.
The Pteranodon had one of the largest,
if not the largest, wingspan of any bird.
Some scientists think that the wingspan was 30 feet long.
Its body was only six feet.
Could you imagine if your wings
or your arms were bigger than your body?
Wow.
Now, unlike a lot of dinosaurs that were herbivores,
the Pteranodon was a carnivore.
That means it ate meat, but not just any meat.
This Pteranodon loves to fish.
Yum, yum, yum.
And guess what?
They're not slow flyers at all.
They think Pteranodons could go 60 miles an hour.
Wow, what an amazing animal.
So, would you rather be able to fly
and soar through the sky like a Pteranodon,
or would you rather swim through the water
like a Plesiosaurus?
If you wanted to go fast in the water,
you would need flippers like these.
But not if you're a Plesiosaurus.
You could swim fast and far
using all four of your flipper-like appendages.
Have you ever seen a sea lion swim?
They use their front flippers like this
to move through the water.
Well, Plesiosaurus had four of those,
so imagine how fast they could go.
And they weren't small either.
They were huge.
Some scientists think that the biggest Plesiosaurus
was 80 feet long.
That's more than twice the size of a Pteranodon's wingspan.
So, would you rather fly in the sky like a Pteranodon,
or soar in the deep, watery depths like a Plesiosaurus?
No wrong answers.
Oh, that's a great answer!
But there's more awesome dinos to check out.
Here we go!
Let's find more superpowers from two new cool dinos.
Here's a clue on the first dinosaur we're gonna meet.
It's not the stick dinosaur.
It has one, two, three horns on top of its head.
Kinda looks like this.
And they could use those horns to do so many things.
Everybody knows that those horns were used
to fend off different predators and keep them safe.
But they also had another really cool use.
Hey, a Triceratops right here!
One, two, three!
Awesome!
We definitely know it's a Triceratops.
In addition to protecting themselves,
the Triceratops could also push through
all of the sticks and brush and trees.
Making sure that they can get through a dense jungle forest.
The Triceratops' superpower?
It's definitely its three horns.
But don't count out the amazing...
Did you see it?
If you said raptor, you're right!
The raptor was one of the coolest animals.
But Blaster, what kind of superpower did it have?
It does not have horns like the Triceratops.
It doesn't have a long neck like the Brachiosaurus.
And armor on its back?
I see none, nada, zilp, zero.
So what possibly could be the superpower
of the raptor, Blaster?
Did you say how fast it could run?
Oh, you were right!
The raptor is one of the fastest dinosaurs.
So even though it's tiny, it can run 40 miles per hour.
Whoa!
So, would you rather be able to run as fast as a raptor?
Or have three horns on top of your head like a Triceratops?
No wrong answers.
What do you think?
Oh, that's a great answer!
All right, Blaster, let's keep going.
Here we go!
Oh, it was so much fun playing
Would You Rather Dinosaur Edition with you today.
But I have one more question for you before we go.
What is your superpower?
Mine?
Well, mine is that even when things get tough,
I tell myself, I can do this, I can do this.
I think that's an awesome superpower.
Blaster, what's your superpower?
Being cool, that's a great superpower, Blaster.
Let me know what your superpower is
and always remember, you can do it.
Bye-bye!
