Alright, the first thing I'm gonna do this morning is back up my MacBook Pro M4, the
best model.
Last week, I went to Tokyo and while I was staying at a hotel, I accidentally dropped
my MacBook Pro M4 off the bed.
Now the screen looks kind of blurry, but when I connect it to an external monitor, it displays
just fine.
So, yeah, it's definitely a problem with the built-in screen itself.
I'm gonna back it up to my old MacBook Air M1 now, yeah.
I work from home as a software engineer, but I'm currently working on this.
I mainly work on refactoring existing systems and integrating an internal management system
built with Shisa2 database to explain it in a way that's easy for non-engineers to understand.
Refactoring means cleaning up messy code without changing how the system works, so that it
becomes easier for anyone to read and maintain.
It's like tidying up a cluttered room.
Shisa2 is a framework for Java, a programming language that was commonly used in the past.
It serves as a kind of foundation for building systems.
Since Shisa2 is now quite outdated, we are working on migrating those systems to a newer
environment, specifically a cloud platform called AWS.
Today, I'm leaving work early, so I'm heading to the Apple store now to get my broken MacBook.
I have an appointment.
I haven't bought any clothes in about two and a half years.
I'm thinking of stopping by Uniqlo or something.
I had some time before my Apple store appointment, so I stopped by the AIDA shop first.
I've had my eye on these running shoes for a while now.
And this Japan national team away jersey looks so good, I could even wear it casually.
With the World Cup coming up soon, I might actually get it.
As for my MacBook, the screen looked blurry, but after getting it checked, it turned out
to be just a screen issue, which was a relief.
Thanks to AppleCare, the repair ended up being free, and since my coverage was about to expire
in just two weeks, the time couldn't have been better.
My MacBook Pro has a nanotexture display, so they didn't have it in stock and said it
would take about a week.
I'm really glad I didn't sell my old MacBook Air.
Also, my second goal for today is to buy some clothes.
I haven't bought any in about two and a half years, so barely have anything to wear.
I kinda wanna get some loosey baggy pants that I don't usually wear.
