All right, well we just made it to the campsite and one thing I didn't realize was that this site
was not a drive-up site, so unfortunately we have to walk up this unmaintained road.
Good news is we're going to get our steps in today, so that's something.
This should be fun. Okay, there's one trip down, but it's a nice site. Pretty secluded,
obviously pretty elevated, and looking over. Hey, relax, relax. Looking over the lake.
No, you know what? We got time. It's a beautiful day. Things are good. Getting in shape.
Two down, one to go. Idiot. Well, that's the reason that was so difficult.
All this slush on the bottom of the sled. Any kind of slush buildup on the bottom of the
toboggan just makes it nearly impossible to move, even when there's nothing in it.
So okay, now that we got all of our gear to the site, I'll give you a quick tour.
So one of the reasons we chose to camp here is it's got this really nice tent platform,
but unfortunately it's just fully covered in frozen snow and ice, and I don't think we're
going to be able to access that. Here we have our outhouse. That's pretty beauty.
Here's the POV. Yeah, man, I tell you what, that's a pretty good outhouse, as far as
outhouses are concerned. Zero smell, 10 out of 10 view. Not much more you could ask for.
Yeah, I think that's pretty well it. I'm not sure if there is a path down to the lake or
not. It looks pretty steep, so I'm not going to attempt to get down there.
This is going to be difficult. If we can keep the fire small little pieces, we should be okay.
That ain't good. Pretty sure my heat fan is cooked. Oh, it's horrible.
I'll have to do some maintenance on it when I get home. Hey guys, just a quick interruption
to introduce today's video sponsor, Dose. And this is Dose for your liver. Honestly,
I didn't realize how important your liver actually is. It handles hundreds of functions
every single day, from digestion to energy. And recently I've been noticing these midday crashes,
usually after a big day or a heavy meal. So I started to take Dose for your liver,
and I noticed a huge change. What's different is it's not a capsule or powder. It's a daily
liquid shot. So your body actually absorbs more of the nutrients. And it tastes just like juice,
which makes it way easier to consume. It's made with ingredients like milk thistle to support
liver function, and turmeric to help your body's natural filtration process. Since adding this into
my daily routine, I've just felt more consistent, less sluggish, better energy, and my digestion
feels smoother. So if you're not thinking about your liver yet, you probably should. Check out
Dose for your liver and see how it fits into your daily routine. If you want to check it out,
I'll leave a link in the description below. Big thanks to Dose for sponsoring today's video. Now
let's get back to it. Oh, I took a sliver. The deepest sliver I ever got. Ouch. Why are you
eating like that, dude? There you go. All right, now that Chester's had his dinner, we're going
to start cooking ours. Keep it pretty simple. I found a pretty good steak at the grocery store.
Had some potatoes at home. So we're going to do three baked potatoes in the stove for about an
hour, and then, yeah, cook the steak on top of the stove. But we're going to keep it pretty simple.
Olive oil and salt, and then double wrap and salt it. Good self-control. I'll give you some.
I promise. You'll get some. Test our pan to make sure it's hot. That's hot. A little bit of oil.
Test one of these guys. Would love for it to be done. Oh my god.
It turned to dust. So yeah, cook those potatoes, and I think it's... Oh my god.
Okay, I'm just trying to figure out if it's edible. The good news is the actual inside is soft.
Note to self, if you're using white potatoes, don't cook them for that long.
I was looking forward to eating the skin too. Oh my god. Perfect. Well, I was hoping for more
than what we got, but it is what it is. Cheddar cheese, bone apple tea, a little bit sour cream,
and a little bit of cheddar, and your well overdone baked potato is salvageable.
Well, it's perfectly done. Honestly, the potatoes with the sour cream, the shredded cheddar,
and some of that very, very crispy skin kind of like mixed up in it, it's pretty damn good.
And the steak is perfect. Yeah, it's like a nine point... Let's call it a nine out of ten.
Could be better. Could be worse. Yeah, it looks and sounds like spring's trying to...
Spring? Sprung? Sprunged? But it's just been the longest winter that I can remember.
Come on in. Come on. What are you doing? Hey, hey, hey. Lay down. He's never done that.
Okay, come here. Good. All right. I don't know what that was all about, eh, mister?
What was that all about? So on that note, good night, and we'll see you guys in the morning.
Good morning. It is, uh, not typically negative 14 degrees on April 8th. This is
crazy. Cheers. Hey, on a positive note, we've warmed up to a balmy negative 12.6 Celsius
or nine Fahrenheit. It's nice. It's actually supposed to warm up to five degrees today.
Thank you. And then lots of rain, which is what we need to get those golf courses open.
What? What are you doing? You having your morning nap?
There you go, bud. All right, another one of the books. Thank you all so much for
watching today's video. I hope you enjoyed, and we'll see you in the next one.
