We were blown away! In this video we talk about how we have been waiting for 10 years for this movie. Since the first Iron Man we have watching each and every single movie that Marvel Studios released. We break down which are our favorites and least favorites.
Once we get out of the movie we talk a little about it but don't we don't go in depth due do spoilers we just give you our Avengers Infinity War Reaction. Avengers Infinity War was by far my favorite comic book movie of all time!
Have you seen Avengers Infinity War yet? What are you waiting for!!
About Me: My name is David Hoffmann and for the last decade I have been traveling around the world in search of unique culture, food and history! Since starting Davidsbeenhere in 2008, I have traveled to 71 countries and over 1,000 destinations, which I welcome you to check out on my YouTube Channel, blog and social medias.
I focus a great deal on food and historic sites, as you probably have seen! I love to experience the different flavors that each destination has to offer, whether it’s casual Street food or gourmet restaurant dining. I’m also passionate about learning the local history and culture.
How does this thing work?
You just tap the minus on it.
That's it.
You have to hold it like this, like in a movie, like that.
So the big one, you can put your hand into it, right?
It's huge! It's like a hundred bucks!
What's up guys, this is David Hoffman of David's Been Here.
Today, my brother and I are going to see Avengers Infinity War.
We are so pumped for this movie. We've been waiting like ten years for this.
If you guys didn't know, we're huge Marvel fans.
He grew up reading the comics, telling me about them,
and then obviously when the movie started coming out, from Iron Man to now,
it's been an incredible journey.
And yeah, man, I'm so pumped for this movie.
I have like butterflies. I'm super nervous about it.
You actually are nervous.
He's texting me every night this week saying he can't stop dreaming about it.
Oh my god.
We're going to have some breakfast, then we're going to see the movie.
And after the movie, we'll give you like a non-spoilery quick review
on what we thought about the movie.
Favorite movies? What was the list of yours?
I mean, it's like 18 movies, so I'll read you the list.
I mean, obviously it's Captain America, The Winter Soldier, number one for me.
So, Dennis' list is Winter Soldier, Civil War, Black Panther, Guardians of the Galaxy,
Captain America, Thor, Ragnarok, Avengers, Iron Man,
Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Spider-Man, Homecoming, Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, Thor,
Iron Man 3, Avengers, Age of Ultron, Thor Dark World.
And then bottom three. No, I'm kidding. I'm kidding.
I actually throw Iron Man 2 before Thor Dark World.
Yours is basically the same thing except you have Avengers.
I have Avengers above Guardians. I think it was just like a groundbreaking movie.
And then I think like Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, and Ant-Man should be higher,
just it's hard to compete with those other movies that we feel are better.
You've got like 18 movies and they really haven't made a bad movie.
They've just made two or three that you don't love as much.
So, there's going to be lots of reunions. Cap and Bucky, everyone wants to see that.
I'm just excited about the different team-ups like Thor with the Guardians,
Cap's the Wakanda.
I feel like it's going to be extremely dramatic but at the same time it's going to be a lot of comedy.
Yeah, because you have all these characters with big personalities like the Guardians.
I mean Drax, what is he doing? He's just a comedian.
He's one of the best characters.
Yeah, he's just comedy.
I can't wait to see Gamora with Thanos, to see how that plays out.
Yeah, that's going to be extra.
I feel like that's going to be a big piece to the puzzle in this movie.
I think it's going to be the emotional backbone of the movie probably, right?
If he's the big lead of the movie, Thanos.
That's the cool thing about the Marvel movies, they're all about family and relationships.
That's why we love them so much.
You go through Avengers, it's about these people coming together.
Captain America movie's about him and the woman he lost, his best friend Bucky.
I mean they're all like that, so I don't know.
I'm excited, that's what gets me about the movies.
I'm just nervous to see who dies, dude.
It's going to be Hawkeye.
The only way for him to get the stones is to go through everybody and get the stones.
And he will end up in the end of the movie, because for sure this is part one and part two.
It's true.
So he'll end up probably with the gauntlet.
It's going to be crazy, insane ending, I'm sure.
And I know it's going to be non-stop for the whole movie.
It's going to be like a roller coaster.
That's my gut feeling.
I mean just hopefully it's as good as the last couple movies, especially after Black Panther.
I think it's going to go down as probably the best comic movie of all time as a comic book.
Okay.
Because it's not just like Civil War and all these movies.
It's a comic book, but at the same time it's really real.
This is going to be more like a real comic.
Epic and cosmic.
Epic, cosmic, crazy.
I feel like it's actually going to be almost like a Star Wars in a way.
Because it's going to be in our space.
It's going to be a lot of our space.
More Guardian style, you know?
Yeah.
It's going to be dopey.
Dopey?
It's comfortable.
Damn it, I wore shorts.
You're going to be cold?
No, I just don't like the chair touching my legs.
So for me, the Tavern Benedict with cheese grits.
Perfect.
You know what?
I'm actually going to go with the Low Carb Benedict.
I love Iron Man.
He's the one that started it all.
Like RDJ, it's funny.
When I read the comics, I hear his voice.
100%.
Always.
And that's such a funny thing because you can go such a shorthand because you just automatically
hear his cadence, hear his humor, his sarcasm.
I mean, I'm a cap guy, but it'd be real sad if RDJ died.
I had a buddy who watched the film last night, and my one question was, I asked him spoilers.
Who has the best facial hair in the movie?
Okay.
There's a lot of great.
He said it's a spoiler, so he couldn't answer.
So we'll find out.
It's a spoiler.
Tavern right here.
Thank you.
And then the skinny person wannabe one here.
That's not really skinny person, dude.
You don't like eggs benedict?
It's not your favorite?
No, I love eggs benedict.
Okay.
I love poached eggs.
I love hollandaise.
Every breakfast, if it could be eggs benedict, the hollandaise sauce.
It's amazing, but really fatty.
What other movies are you excited for this year?
Obviously, Iron Man and the Wasp.
You excited for Han Solo or not?
You don't really care.
I mean, I'm going to go watch it.
And obviously, I want to see Deadpool 2.
I don't know when I'm going to watch it.
It's funny how I'm only a...
I didn't love the first Deadpool.
It's grown on me more.
Me either.
I didn't like it.
I walked out of it with you.
I was like...
The more I see it, the more I'm like, okay, I get it.
How many times have you seen it since?
Maybe two.
Two more?
Yeah.
How many times are you going to watch this one?
I bet you.
Already.
Who knows?
I'm seeing it Sunday.
That's what I'm saying.
This guy watches every Marvel movie at least twice.
In a theater.
Are you filming me?
In a theater.
What I'm a little nervous about,
especially for box office for it...
Oh, God.
No.
Is that if it's a two-part movie,
like they say,
there'll be probably a cliffhanger.
Sure.
How many people are going to go do a repeat viewing?
Compared to seeing Black Panther where it's like...
It depends.
If it has the same effect as Black Panther
where it's like,
you got to see this.
This isn't what you expect from a superhero movie.
I can't believe it's today.
No.
I'm serious.
I think we've been waiting for this
at least since they announced it
like three or four years ago.
They did announce it a long time ago, right?
No, it was a special event
when they announced the whole entire slate.
You guys going to see it?
Yeah, at 11.30.
See you there.
Woo.
Avengers Infinity War.
Here we go.
Yeah, basically go watch the movie.
Yes, go watch the movie.
I don't want to give anything away.
I mean, I will say...
Favorite characters in the movie?
Or favorite parts?
Storylines?
I guess.
I don't know.
It's too much to wrap my head around.
I almost spilled it right there.
Yeah, it's really good.
Lots of funny moments,
lots of dramatic moments.
Rollercoaster.
The pace, it moves.
It just didn't stop.
It didn't stop.
I feel like I'm just shocked.
Yeah, yeah, yeah,
because it's got that...
The shock factor.
I mean, it's...
I guess it's everything you wanted and...
I'll say this.
It's going to be a long year waiting for Part 4.
If you haven't watched all...
You don't have to watch all 18,
but at least each character's movies.
Yeah, you should probably do that.
To understand each one.
Yeah, it'll just give you a little shorthand.
Yeah, because if you never watched Doctor Strange,
you won't really understand his part.
Same thing with The Guardians.
You won't understand the whole thing with it.
Yeah, they give you enough,
but I think you'll give it a more fulfilling experience
if you watch the whole thing.
If you liked the video,
give it a thumbs up,
leave a comment below, and...
