REALISTIC THRIFT WITH ME Thrift Haul Home Decor on a Budget.

Hello everyone, welcome back to my channel and welcome to a new video. Today I'm going to take you all along with me for a good old-fashioned thrift with me. We're going to stroll the aisles, see what we can find. I am not looking for anything particularly. I would love to find some spring and summer items. We are currently doing some renovations. I don't know if you can tell, there's no furniture in our house right now because we just redid the floors. We need to give it a little bit more time before we start piling everything back in and laying rugs down. We are painting, we're changing out our cabinets, a lot of change. So I don't want to buy too much, but of course I just want to see what I can find. So I hope you enjoy coming along with me. I thought this flower dish was so beautiful, perfect for spring. I could see it on a counter with like maybe some mini eggs and some other little treats. So fun and such a fun way to bring in some seasonal decor. I love that about the thrift store, but I often don't look in this little knick-knack section, but today, like I said, I just wanted to stroll and enjoy my time. So I decided to have a look and I did find a couple really pretty things. Over in the dishware section, I was looking for like little beautiful dishes. I thought this one for $3.99 was so gorgeous. I love to find these little like trinket trays to have stacked on books, on bedside tables. This one was so pretty, again $3.99. Perfect for rings, hair ties. We're always looking for hair ties in our house, so just I love looking for those little pieces that just add a special touch. Okay, this might have been the find of the day. This box for $7.99 came with a gorgeous glass cloche and two marble like bottoms. I am very upset to say that I did not purchase this. I was feeling a little bit overwhelmed just with the state of our home and all of the renovations and I was like, where am I gonna put this? Everything is everywhere right now, but that was such a great find. It just goes to show you what you can find at the thrift store. Those cost so much more money in higher-end stores. Even just Walmart and Target charge way more than $7.99 for something like that. So again, always great to check your local thrift stores. You never know what you'll find. I thought this tray was gorgeous. Look at that beautiful detail on the bottom of it, almost like a capiz shell. Is that how you say it? Like that gorgeous finish. I thought this would be beautiful styled outside. I could see it on like a dining table, on your back porch. You could serve drinks on it. So beautiful. And then over in the frame section, I found this bundle of wood frames. Those were really cute. And then I also found this beautiful set, which you're going to see here in just a second. It has like a blue mat to it and that seems to be really popping up in higher-end stores. I recently did like a high-end dupes video and that's a common thing now is having like a colored mat and I thought this would be so beautiful. You could easily switch out the pictures that are inside and create something really kind of modern with these frames. I never skip out on the silver and brass section of my thrift store. I have found some beautiful things here over the years. This was such a unique piece. I've never seen anything this color, this goldy brass color. So beautiful. This is very heavy duty. Really nice piece, but you can find all sorts of things there. Really cute trays and things to style with. I thought this would be so pretty styled just on your stove. I don't know if I would use it because it did have some chipping, but just to kind of create a really fun spring statement, I think that would be beautiful. So definitely look. I did find another one in the pot section as well, like that enameled coloring with the flowers. So lots of options. And then I just thought this was really cool. Whenever I'm coming up to spring, I just want to bring color in and the thrift store is a great place to find some gems to do that with. I hope you enjoyed strolling the aisles of the thrift store with me. I did pick up a couple things and I wanted to share it with you. There were so many beautiful things today and I don't go to that thrift store very often, but every time I go, I'm like, I need to go back there because they do have some great things. Starting off, I absolutely took home this huge wreath. How gorgeous with the peonies and just the coloring. Is this not perfect for spring and summer? I loved the size of it. Something like this at HomeGoods, TJ Maxx, Winners, those types of stores would cost you at least $40. I picked this up today for $11.99, which I thought was a steal of a deal. It's truly so beautiful and very full. And I also had a 20% off coupon, so I was able to save some additional money on top of that, but absolutely love it and it's going to work perfect on the front door. And actually, as I was leaving to go to the thrift store, I really couldn't find a wreath, so when I saw it just hanging out there, I was like, this is meant to be. And then I took home this really cool lantern Bluetooth speaker and I was able to test it in the store. It works perfectly. It's got great sound and it's got this beautiful glow. I quickly did a Google search on my phone. If you're ever thrifting and you want to know more about an item that you find, you can do a quick Google image search and it will tell you anything you need to know about the item that you're looking at. So this is originally from Amazon and it is currently sold out, but it looks like similar ones are selling for $80 plus. I picked it up for $19.99 and again, I did have 20% off, so pretty good for around $16 and definitely perfect for this time of year going into spring and summer. I can have it on the front porch while we're hanging out while the kids are playing or we can move it to the backyard. Use it while we're in the hot tub. The sky's the limit. Let me show you what it looks like lit up. Super pretty. It's like this really warm glow and apparently it has flickering lights. It was hard for me to see it in the store because it is so bright in the thrift store. Such a great find and I'm really happy to have that for going into spring and summer and we can enjoy that listening to music or sometimes I just like having area music on while I'm in the house, so it would be amazing to have that in the backyard as well. So very excited about that and that is what I took home today. It was such a fun day to just stroll and see what they have. I can't wait for all of our renovations to be done. I might want to switch things up a little bit and of course I love to utilize the thrift store to do that. So lots of content coming. I am just in this in-between phase right now where I can't really style anything.
