On our last day of our family vacation in Mexico in partnership with Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort and Spa we are suppose to fly home but because of Hurricane Irma we have to stay in Texas for a few days, my twelfth state!
We travel from Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort and Spa to Puerto Vallarta Airport in 45 minutes. There I was told to cross the bridge to eat some amazing burritos.
The flight from Puerto Vallarta to Dallas is 2 hours and 35 minutes. We went through immigration, caught an Uber and headed to The Westin Galleria Hotel in Dallas.
We ate a quick bite for dinner and passed out! Follow our journey as we explore Dallas, Texas!

This is probably one of the best burritos I've ever had in my life.
Good morning everyone, David Hoffman here from DavidsBakery.com.
We're here at the Grand Palladium by Yara Teresa.
Last morning, we're leaving in two hours and we're supposed to go home to Miami.
But, unfortunately, Hurricane Irma is about to hit Miami in about a day.
So, they're closing the airport today.
So, we can't go home. We have to stay in Dallas.
You know, I'm a little excited because I've never been to Dallas, Texas.
But, you know, it sort of sucks what's happening in Miami.
It's crazy. Mother Nature.
Let's go quickly have breakfast and get a few shots here in the hotel.
And then, airport time. Let's go.
Where are you going? Where are you going?
Alright everyone, we're leaving the Grand Palladium by Yarta.
It's been awesome. Here we go.
Victoria Knox, thank you for all the amazing luggage.
It's not going to be that long today.
We have to drive about an hour to the airport.
And then, wait two hours.
And then, from there, it's like a two and a half hour flight to Dallas.
So, we should be in Dallas by 5 p.m.
Andros, thank you so much for everything, dude.
Thank you.
So, when do I see you again?
Probably in the next Palladium.
Next Palladium?
Yeah. Costa Mujeres.
Costa Mujeres, okay.
Hey, thank you.
Thank you, man.
My friend, Danny.
He's hurting me because of my summer.
See you soon.
Gracias, amigo.
Have a good trip, sir.
Thank you, guys.
Perfecto. Gracias, amigo.
Hola, amigo. ¿Qué tal? ¿Cómo estás?
Muy bien.
Muy bien. Vamos to American Airlines.
I'm boiling.
And we're going to try to get an upgrade.
Definitely worth getting a guy like this to help you out.
$2 tip. Worth it.
Este y el otro.
Estos dos nos lo llevamos por nosotros.
Hola, ¿qué tal? ¿Cómo estás?
Muy bien. ¿Y usted? ¿Habla español?
Sí.
Dallas?
By the way, we survived the 8.1 earthquake down in Chiapas.
There was a tsunami warning here.
We didn't feel it.
We were sleeping.
Thank God.
So, instead of eating here at the airport,
I'm going to cross the street because the people here at American Airlines were telling me
of an amazing burrito place.
It's got to cross the street over this little bridge.
And it's a burrito place that has, like, seafood burritos.
So, like, marlin, a mahi-mahi, shrimp.
So, I'm going to buy two of those really quick.
So, it's a good tip instead of eating here at the airport
because the airport food doesn't look great to me.
Hey, ¿qué tal?
Burrito.
Sí.
¿Cuándo sale cada uno?
Getting a burrito, a marlin burrito.
It's hot.
Calor, calor.
They say it's the best burritos in all of Puerto Vallarta.
It's right here.
El único y auténtico tacón de marlin.
Right across the street from the airport.
The airport's right there.
You just got to take that little bridge.
Gracias, amigo.
Hasta luego.
I think it was $6.
For you two.
Hey, what's up?
What's up, what's up?
Oh, my God, air conditioning.
I can only get one.
I don't have enough money.
It's okay.
It's huge.
Okay, she ate a whole banana.
She's got a new food.
You're good?
So this is our marlin burrito.
Here we go.
Oh, this is fantastic.
Look at this.
Probably one of the best burritos I've ever had in my life.
It cost $85, which is roughly about $7, $8.
I think one's enough for two people.
I mean, big.
I'll take this over airport food any day.
And they have some hot sauce, but I'm not touching that.
Next time you're here in Puerto Vallarta airport,
cross the street, get this burrito.
It's insane.
Tacón Marlin.
All right, they have a lot of tequila here.
Once you go through the security,
we have like a duty-free here.
You ready for Dallas?
Yeah.
Is this the third duty-free?
This is like the third duty-free
that you have to go through to get to your gate.
It's crazy.
Two days in a row you're on the vlog?
Sterling was with me yesterday.
Las Islas Marietas.
Yeah.
Dude, I got an awesome picture on my GoPro,
and the guy never sent me the picture.
I'm doing it.
So I wasn't expecting to come to Dallas.
It's my first time in Texas.
Lone Star State.
12th State.
And right now we're going through immigration,
catch an Uber,
and go to the Westin Galleria.
What's up, dude?
You think we fit everything?
Yeah.
Ooh, it's going to be tight.
Thank you.
Very easy.
Where'd y'all come from?
Came from Mexico,
but we're supposed to go to Miami,
but we have a hurricane on the way.
So we're staying here for four days.
That'll kind of put a crimp in your travel plans.
Yeah, for sure.
Tell me a little bit about Dallas
and how bad this traffic is.
Well, being that I've had the opportunity
to live in a few different places,
it's not as bad as L.A. traffic.
Yeah, no, L.A. is bad.
L.A. is a parking lot.
L.A. is 30 minutes for a mile.
It's crazy.
Yeah, it's pretty slow during rush hour,
but give it another hour
and it'll back off.
Perfect.
Mr. Hoffman, you're going to be staying
in our executive corner suite
up on the 28th floor.
VIP status, a large room
for you and your family.
Thank you so much.
You're welcome.
I can't wait.
Four nights here?
Executive corner suite.
Okay, let's do it.
Where is she?
Yeah, the worst suite ever.
The Westin Galleria.
You guys got me sold.
This place is amazing.
I'm moving in.
I'm staying here.
We're home.
Gloves for ice skating.
Is that what they gave us?
We have to go ice skating,
pero va a ser difícil con la niña.
I mean, I love this.
Ana, they gave us sunglasses too.
Look at this.
So we all match?
Yeah.
This is awesome.
Let me see, Ana.
Let me see you.
I love this place.
Ana, this place is so sick.
If you didn't know,
the Galleria Mall
has an ice skating rink.
That's awesome.
Okay.
So we're really tired
from traveling today.
So we're not going out to dinner.
We just got some food
from a restaurant
right here in the mall
called Grand Lux Cafe.
Some tacos,
chicken fingers,
and a salad.
Picnic in the suite.
Dude, what'd you bring us?
Is this everything?
Yes, sir.
Dessert.
Is this beer?
Is this like Texas beer?
Oh my God.
Dallas Blonde.
El Chigon.
IPA.
Look, my favorite.
Spoiling us like crazy.
This is just...
I've never been treated
like a prince like this.
This is like
I'm King David for sure now.
