RHODE ISLAND | My Eleventh State | The SMALLEST State in the USA

Hey guys, David Hoffman here from David's been here. I just woke up in Rhode Island my 11th state. We drove in yesterday We only saw a little bit of Providence the capital today. It's like all day b-roll We're gonna get a few shots of me doing my intro and outro all over Providence I think we're gonna also go down to like Warwick. Rhode Island is very small And yeah, I'm staying here at the Hilton Garden Inn and we're gonna go to breakfast now and see Carlos Yeah, this is a fire alarm at 5 in the morning here crazy Yeah, it took me a little bit though, but you have no idea like you're dead sleep. It's like I'm on a boat b-roll calm So we're back in Providence. It's a beautiful day Morning. Yeah, dude 5 a.m. Somebody must have been doing something. I have no idea. It's crazy. Now. You're that b-roll be BBB I Used to carry that tripod around the world. I remember there's 22 days in Switzerland I had that thing on my back basically every day on my shoulder Making its way around the world. It's packed with everything people need to tell their stories on mobile go I'm here in Rhode Island for the case for change of the story Hi guys, David Hoffman here from David's been here I'm now in Rhode Island with the case for change for the story of Hannah. This is the Rhode Island State House It's over 100 years old bill in 1904 Like I was saying today We're focusing on b-roll doing my part my intro and outro for this case for change to the story of Hannah Hannah is a Liberian girl The case is the 1 million project set up by Sprint which aims to provide 1 million Low-income students with internet access at home. It's getting a lot of b-roll. It's like infinite b-roll. Yeah So right now I'm gonna set up the 360 Camera, this is Benefit Street the most impressive concentration of colonial homes in America. You can see that was somebody's house, by the way Isn't that crazy? Yeah, that was somebody's house for the next one So, I guess when the Redcoats were here, huh the Redcoats your brothers Very colonial Oh, look at that one more shot. They drink way more than me though. You guys can drink ales like non-stop. Hey, how you doing? Very good for four or that. Uh, they had a milk stout Not real I'm good with IPA you yeah, happy bitter full-bodied. Yeah, perfect Cheers Yeah, right Here we have the Rhode Island IPA, this is what I love drinking And right here's Carlos's IPA it is the best 2107 so papaya stone fruit citrus Passion fruit to Carlos. I'm taking this one So what do you guys think everybody got the fish sandwich? No, you didn't jerk chicken jerk chicken sandwich Good I'm sure it's good man, basically fish and chips with the addition of some bread, which is no bad thing Best choice Hey think globally drink locally We're headed 28 miles south of Providence to beaver tail lighthouse One of the best lighthouses the most historic lighthouses in Rhode Island 1856 was when it was founded. It's 64 feet high The whistle house and garage were destroyed by the New England hurricane of 18 1938 and the lighthouse provides navigation for boats and ships entering the Narrowing Sungate Bay and East Passage between Connecticut Island and Newport, but we all knew that anyway So probably no point of me telling you Yeah White light rotates counterclockwise and makes a full rotation about a no six or seven seconds I'd say the light is on 24 hours a day with a rotation every six seconds Unlike many lighthouses that are near it and that's me growing over giving you all the news you need to get around, Rhode Island Thank you. And good night So we're here in Connecticut Island in the town of Jamestown getting some shots here by beaver beaver tail lighthouse Connecticut Connecticut. Oh, this is sick. This is awesome. I think the wind factor is gonna destroy this down here Dude, you can easily fall here though And what will face it? This is freaking beautiful, look at this And that's beaver tail lighthouse right there BAM I would jump in but I don't want to die Yeah Smells good feels great You're gonna be best shot over there there. I mean the coast here is incredible as rocks I Ready ready to go home. Yeah. All right guys Let's go back to Providence and right there's beaver tail lighthouse Alright, so we finished for the day. We're gonna go back to the hotel now We just dropped off Graham and Zach. We're gonna head back to our Hilton Garden Inn I mean, it's about a seven minute drive Which is not bad, but the traffic is horrible To me and Carlson to get some shots here drone shots of the Hilton Garden Inn as well as out here in the water Indian Point Park So there's a center of Providence called Federal Hill. This is known for Italian community This is lots of Italian restaurants everywhere. So we're thinking Italian and Dino Cassadino, I think and another one that's called something vino Cuz you know, we're in little Italy basically good Italian food, so I was like, hey What a Bambino's over and Bambino's they got lots of good stuff Italian no, so no franchise a power ingress a Man So right here. I got the farmhouse ale. It's from a town nearby really good a little strong though. I think it's 8% 7.8 So this is what you guys drink a lot of this is our water, it's what we drink good you're the same thing as me There's really good So good Pulling up the body Oh that dinner was amazing it was Italian food in Providence who would have known right going home. I want to go to sleep. I'm so tired Tomorrow's our last day in Rhode Island. And so it's a busy shoot day. See you in the morning
