2026 USA Baseball Bat Showdown Baseball Bat Bros

All right folks, today we're going to be reviewing the worst certification in the history of baseball bats, the USA baseball bats. And as you can see here, there are quite a few of them. This could be a two hour long review if we wanted. However, I'm going to save your time. I have picked the clear eight best standout bats in the whole USA bat category. And these 10 bats right here just are definitely not going to win the video. In description, I will put the exact reason why each one of these 10 bats will not make it. There's a couple standouts though. For one, the Atlas is actually a pretty good feeling USA bat. This thing just dents so easy. Every single time I swing it, just it dents immediately, super soft swing, really slow pitch speed, probably the least durable alloy bat in all of USA. And on that same note, the Dirty South bats just keep breaking on us guys until they can figure out that knob issue. The knob just peeled right off in my hand. This thing just peeled off. I'm a little bit weary to keep including these in the videos. Again, a very good USA bat, but these things peel off way too easy. And then dude, I was so bummed about this. The most recent USA bat release, the one piece icon chosen one, one of the best bats in BB Corps. I cannot emphasize how much this hurts the hands on every single part of the barrel. God, but these eight bats all, in my opinion, have a good chance to be the best USA bat of 2026. We have three different categories. First, the two one piece alloy standouts, I think only 180 bucks and 199 bucks. The DeMarini Voodoo One and the Victus Vibe, which goes by like six other names. The three best two piece hybrid bats, including the reigning champion Bonesaber Hybrid from Warstick. Our runner up from last year, the Louisville Slugger Select Power and a sleeper newcomer, the two piece Easton Mav 2. I swear this is going to surprise you. And then lastly, our composite bats. I do not have a lot of faith in the composite bats. This dude, big sleeper. I was shocked, but the Meta USA is very good. And then I'm not huge on either of these bats, but I had to include them. The Rawlings Icon and the Easton Hypefire are by far the two most popular bats in the USA space, especially for the expensive bats. So we're at least going to give them a chance. And it has been far too long, but we are back home at our home field here. It was under construction. We actually got some new lights. They do that now, I guess. So let's start with the Hypefire. And last time we hit with the Hypefire, it did not end well. The Hypefire snapped in half. So we're hoping this stays in one piece. All right, I hit that pretty well there. 90 miles an hour, pretty slow. Ow, that stung, dude. God, that's still ringing me up, dude. Does not feel great. All right, off the wall, 95, 399. The barrel looks so big on this bat, but the sweet spot is deceivingly very rigid. I feel like there's one good spot. That was 96. We're climbing. Okay, that's about perfect barrel there. 97 miles an hour with the Easton Hypefire. I don't think it cracked. Nope, looking good. Okay, let's move to the Rawlings Icon. Oh, this is going to be a lot better. Oh, you can tell it just sounds a lot better. 96 there. Dude, this is going to be a lot hotter. It still kind of stings. 97. And what we're looking for today with the USA bats, the pop is important, but more importantly for the level of kids swinging this bat, I want a big sweet spot. I want a reasonable swing weight, and especially, I want a bat that's not going to sting your hands. And weirdly enough, the Hypefire and this, they both kind of sting the hands when they really shouldn't. I don't know if that's going to go very far. Yeah, only 95 there. Is that our first homer? Come on. Barely. Wall scraper. That was 98 for 399. Dude, that hurts. It feels good on a bigger range than the Hypefire, but still not awesome. That was 99 though. Pretty good. Definitely not blown away, but this is better than our first bat. Okay, our last one. I think honestly the best hope for the composites, surprisingly enough, is going to be the Meta. Oh dude. 99. Wow, already. Dude, zero feedback in the hands. 100. We've hit triple digits with the USA bats. This is straight butter on the hands, bro. Yeah, that was jammed. That did not sting. 98. Dude, I'm shocked I've never swung this. This feels wonderful. 103. This is probably the best composite USA bat I've ever swung. That's not saying much, but I think it's pretty clear. Oh, that feels great. 100 again. I'll give the Icon one more, but I think that's clear. I hit that so hard, bro. 99. Yeah, for sure, bro. The Icon's pretty good, but dude, we have discovered a legitimately very good USA bat. It's hot, it's light swinging, and the biggest thing, the sweet spot feels like I'm swinging a U-trip or a BB core kind of. The whole thing does not sting and feels very, very nice. Really pleasantly surprised here. All right, next we have our One Piece alloys. Most of the bats in this space kind of feel the exact same. These were at least a little different. This is the cheapest one, and honestly, I think the Victus feels better than the Maroochies, honestly, and it's a lot cheaper. And then, bro, if this one doesn't dent too bad, this has a chance to win the whole thing. The Voodoo One is such a good USA bat, so let's see. Crayon, crayon, whatever you want. Bro, I love this bat. Like, it's a freaking drop 10 too, and it rips. 97, 375. Dude, this does not sting very much. That was hands for 99. Ow! Bro, that was a change up, and that lit me up bad. Okay, how much that hurt has me a little bit shook about this bat? I don't know. I questioned the sweet spot a little bit. Yeah, 95, 397. Let's give it one more. Maybe. All right, our second home run there. Only 94 though. Let's go one more. All right, 98. I like it a lot. I like the meta better, honestly. All right, Voodoo One needs to beat 100. Dude, this is so good. Dude, this is lighter for sure than the Vive. It sounds awesome. Also, the barrel's weirdly, like, dude, it's kind of fat for a USA bat. That was 97 for 400. Bro, this is, like, that did not hurt very much. That was 97 again. No question. Dude, like, the pop, 98. The pop is similar if you barrel it up. The sweet spot on this, compared to the Victus, is a lot better, and it's a lot lighter, which is a weird combo to have. 100. I saw one there. Is that 101? We have one small dent, but considering this is a bat for an 11-year-old, we're going to give it a break. That wasn't particularly close. Felt way better, swung way lighter, sounded better, the miss hits were better. The Voodoo One is going to the ship. All right, the odds would say that the Champion is one of these three. I'm on record saying that two-piece hybrids are the move for USA bats, but, bro, those first two bats were very good. Let's start with our defending champion, the Bonesaber Hybrid. Yeah, really light swinging for a two-piece. Very good on the hands, 95. Yeah, this feels wonderful, man. The sweet spot isn't crazy. That was 96. I'm not finding the perfect spot, but it's very forgiving. And with this bat, it's a little quirky with that handle. There's literally no knob on it. You will have to get used to that. I'm pretty neutral on it. I swing fast, but I roll over a lot. Okay, I hammered that ball. 96. The pop was a little bit down there. All right, a brand new bat. This doesn't exist anywhere but USA, the two-piece hybrid Easton Mav 2, and I think this could be really good. I was gonna swing the Mav 1 as well, but there's something wrong with it. And this has like that hype fire squishy knob. Kind of feels nice. Yeah, very muted sound. Oh, baby. I think that's gone. Yes, sir. 98, 387. Dude, like, I thought this was gonna be heavier, but this swing's pretty dang balanced. Oh, dude. I like this a lot. That was 102. That was close to our high of the day. See if it dented. Nope. Bro, this has more barrel than the Bonesaber. 103. Dog, this is good. All right, we'll need to do a swing off here, but like, that's my one right now. Okay, then this is one where you're gonna need to use some discernment. I think the Select Power is probably gonna pop our highest velo of the day, but the Select Power is clear in a way the most enveloped bat in USA. It has so much barrel, but you kind of need to be a donkey of a child to be able to swing this thing. So let's see. Like, this is a drop eight. This feels like it could easily be a drop five. Yeah, like, this might as well be a BB Corps bat, bro. Is that gone? Oh, my goodness. 99, 424. I hit that really hard. Dude, 101. Dude, the Mav 2 might freaking win. Perfect. 102. Very interesting. All right, we're gonna get one more with each. Okay, Bonesaber has a lot of work to do, bro. I'm a little disappointed with the exit velo so far. That was pretty good. That was barrel. 102. Now we're talking. All right, Select Power. I think I hit that really well. 97, 398. Bro, it might be the Mav 2. This feels awesome. Golfed that one. 95, 390. Bro, I love this. I think the wind is gonna kill that. No, that went. 98, 406. So here's the problem. Similar to last year, the Select Power is amazing. I just, like, I can't imagine an 11-year-old or 12-year-old swinging this end loaded of a bat very efficiently. If you're a big kid, go for it, but, like, my conscience is telling me, like, this can't be in the ship just because of that. These two bats are excellent. I want one more swing. Okay, Bonesaber. Ripped. 99, 390. I think I like this more. That's 100. I'm shocked. Smoked that ball. 100, 395, man. They're so similar, dude. 100. Screw it. I'm putting them both in. We got the Meta, the Voodoo, the Bonesaber, and the Mav2. Any of these four you can be very proud of. These are gonna get it done, but I'll try to give you my final best bat. All right, uh, let's see. Let's start with the Voodoo. God, I love it. I freaking love it. Let's go one at a time here. 98. The Voodoo is definitely the most balanced bat. Okay, Bonesaber. Holy freaking rollover, dude. Pretty similar swing there. 97, huh? Okay, Meta. Our last composite bat that's still alive. God, I love that, dude. It's the best sound and the best feel probably. 97. Kind of reach for that. It's also so amazing. Like, we don't have the slightest, the slightest crack or nothing on this. Mav2. Kind of jammed, I think. 95 still. God, these are all deserving. All right, I'm gonna swing out of my shoes for one of every bat here. Peace. Okay, that's not a pretty bat. Uh, 99 there. Yeah. Okay, this is heavier than the Voodoo. Definitely sturdier than the Voodoo. More sweet spot than the Voodoo. And hotter than the Voodoo. 101 again. Oh, I hit that so hard. That might be our high of the day. 100. It was not. That's kind of surprising. Right now, I think my order is probably the Mav2, then the Bonesaber, then the Voodoo. And then TBD with this guy. Freaking USA bat, dude. God, that's good. 104.07. I think this is the best sweet spot we have swung today outside of maybe the Select Power. And it's way lighter swinging. And the Velos speak for themselves, dude. And it's not cracking somehow. That's awesome. Jam shot. 100. It's a freaking bomb, dude. 414. This is it, man. This is my favorite USA bat. With, like, every attribute considered. The pop was good. That's 100. And for the price, I love this bat. If you're just, like, an 8-year-old, bro, get this or the Victus bat. This is a little expensive. Maybe, hopefully, it gets discounted. But, dude, I can't believe this. I don't think there's a lot of correlation between BB Corps and USA because I legit think the Meta is the best USA bat. And it's a composite. Bro, the swing weight, fantastic. The sweet spot felt like absolute butter. It felt like I was hitting with a freaking U-trip bat, kind of. And the durability, like most of all, dude, I'm weirded out by how I was just able to rip a Drop 10 like that. I'm pretty confident. I'd pretty confidently recommend the Meta as the best USA bat in the game right now. Damn, dude, let's go.
