Eva Lys vs Paula Badosa 2026 Stuttgart Round 1 WTA Match Highlights

Well, back-to-back aces to close it out. Statement finish from Paolo Barossa there. Stubbly taking the first set. Stuttgart six games to two. Caught the line. Managed to wrong foot Barossa there with the angle. Trouble. And she's had. Nicely done by Ivelisse. Lovely timing on that backhand. Oh, that is stunning from Paolo Barossa. That's Jim Sloan from Ivelisse. One of the longest rallies of the match so far. More so than Barossa in fact. Just two from 12.1. 2.1 from 12 second serves I should say. Three from 13 now. Sometimes you need a little bit of good fortune. And Ivelisse deserves the second set. What a fight back. 4-1 down. Double breakdown. Seemingly heading out. Superb from Ivelisse. This is really turning into a fabulous battle now. Lovely angle on that forehand from Ivelisse. Three-month wait is over. What a comeback victory for Ivelisse. Looked to be completely out of this. Down a set and a double break. To the former semi-finalist. But she came roaring back. What a performance. A few struggles for her opponent as well. But take nothing away from Ivelisse. Who desperately wanted that win. 2-6, 7-5, 6-4.
