I don't understand what's going on with this thing. So, it's working. You guys are seeing it. OK... Hopefully... If you are watching this when it's not live, yes, live shows always start out really, really strange. Because half the time, they don't start out correctly. But, I think this one started out correctly. I'm hoping anyway. I don't even know. I'm not even sure. OK. Are we good? We're good? It's all swiggly for me. Swiggly? That's a word? I guess... I'm using a new live streaming app. So, I need to make sure that it actually works. I can see it, so it looks like it's working. So, I'm hoping it's working. Impromptu live show today you guys! Probably going to do this for about half an hour and then we're going to end it, because we're actually getting ready to go camping. I know you can't really see out there right now, but Jamie's putting the kayak on top of the Jeep. We have the camper ready and we're getting ready to take the dogs camping since here in the United States it is Memorial Day weekend. So, yeah! That is what is going on today. Today is normally the live show that I normally do around between five and seven, depending. But, I decided to do it today a little bit earlier, because we are leaving for going camping. Everybody's saying it's working. I got a couple of people saying they can't hear me. But, a whole bunch of people said they can. Autumn Waite! Thank you for the super chat! Autumn Waite says, hi Memphis and family! Thank you for the super chat my friend! We are not taking the dogs kayaking. This is only the second time I've been out in a kayak. So, I don't want to take the dogs kayaking just yet. It will probably only be Memphis that actually goes camping anyway. Or camping? Kayaking! They're all going camping. I want to make sure that I'm comfortable in the kayak before we do that. Make sure this works. A couple of you are saying you can't hear well. My audio looks like it's bouncing. So, maybe turn your audio up a little bit. Not really sure. Because, mine is like peaking out. So, it should be okay. How is Shelby's front paw doing? Shelby's front paw is actually doing pretty good. She's going... We went to the vet. Actually, I put up a vlog about it today at YouTube.com slash Snow Dogs Vlogs. So, you can go check that out and have a little bit of update from the vet and what they said. Basically, they said that... Where is she? She's over here. Where's my Shelby? Hey Shelby! They said it's a fatty tumor. It's not cancerous, which is good. It's a fatty tumor. It's non-cancerous. She is going to have surgery. The reason behind that is where it is in between her toes will over time probably not... It will make it so it will be a little bit harder for her to walk on that foot, if that fatty tumor continues to grow. So, we are going to have surgery for her to remove it. It's not causing her pain. She's not in any pain. It's not hurting her. Her foot is actually not swollen anymore. Oh! Is he rubbing your eye? She's going camping with us this weekend. So, she definitely is doing okay. I forgot what I was saying. She's definitely doing alright. She's going to have surgery. Her surgery will not be until June 28th. Hopefully! So, yes! Hi! Like I said, we're probably going to be streaming for about 15 to 20 minutes and then we got to go, because we got to go get going and go camping because it's the weekend. How many of you guys are going camping or going to do something fun for Memorial Day weekend, if you live in the United States? Memorial Day weekend in the United States is kind of like the start of summer. It's not really the start of summer, but I think everybody feels like it's the start of summer because it's Memorial Day weekend and everybody goes camping. I tell you right now, our tiny little tourist town is full of people right now. It's crazy! Crazy! Crazy! Crazy! Yes, I know what Littlest Pet Shop is. Does Shelby ever bark? Yes! What is your favorite food? Pickles! No joke! Pickles! I love pickles and pickled everything. I've had pickled asparagus, pickled brussel sprouts, pickled carrots, pickled pickles. Go and get y'all camping on! We are! We're waiting on Greg. Our friend Greg just got off of work. He's on his way over here. As I said, Jamie's putting our kayak up on the Jeep right now. We're only camping a short distance from our home. So actually, what we're going to do, is the dogs are going to stay here for about an hour. We're going to take the kayak out, come back and get the dogs and go to the campground. That is the plan, man! Is candy good for dogs? No! You really don't want to feed your dogs candy. In the U.K. it's the May Day Bank Holiday. Three day weekend. We get a three day weekend too. Do you know what Little Pony is? Yes! How long have you had Huskies? Fifteen years? Oh! Advice for grooming fluffy butts who like to chew on the brush when you try to groom them. Oh man! Maybe put bitter apples... Well, I don't know. Bitter apple spray on the brush might work. I don't know though, because if you're brushing them and the bitter apple spray gets in their fur, I don't think that would be bad for them. I'm not really sure. The dogs are going to freak out. So, I'm only going to live stream for about another five minutes and then I'm going to end it because they are waiting on me now. They're waiting on me now! How long have you and Jamie been together? Quick question, how easy slash difficult is it to have a breed like Huskies in a tropical climate and would they be a good breed to have interacting with younger children? TheLilyEdit, thank you for the super chat. You can have Huskies in a warmer climate. You just really have to know how to prepare for it. You want to make sure you have air conditioning. You want to make sure you have fans. You want to make sure to keep the dogs nice and cool. Basically the same way you keep cool when it's hot, they need to do the same thing. If you're going to walk them, you want to do it early in the morning or late in the evening after the sun has pretty much set or is no longer there. That will help. You can also get shoes so they don't burn their feet if you're walking them on cement. As for interacting with younger children, always supervise dogs with young children. Always, always, always. Huskies can be very, very high energy and high active and have been known to knock little kids over on accident because they're such high energy, high activity dogs. I would definitely say, they can be around young children but never leave them unattended. Thank you again for the super chat. My phone is exploding! Exploding! Jess and Jamie and Greg are high school friends. Yes! Jamie and Greg and I all went to high school together. Have you ever had experience... I don't have a small dog, sorry. Can dogs eat white rice? Yeah, in moderation they can eat white rice. Brown rice is a little bit better for them, but they can eat white rice. Would you recommend a Jeep for a first car? I would recommend a Jeep always. Always! They are the best! My first car was a Buick 1985 full size Dodge van. My second car was a 1986 Buick Park Avenue. My third car, which I actually had for more than a couple of months, was a Dodge Dakota pickup truck. Jamie and I didn't actually get our first Jeep until maybe ten years ago. It was probably about ten or eleven years ago when we really started getting into Jeeps. Memphis, where are you at? Is Shelby's paw still swollen? Her paw is not swollen, but she still has the bump on her paw. She's having surgery on June 28th. We had a bunch of people ask, the other day I did a live stream on Snow Dogs Vlogs and a bunch of people asked about helping pay for the surgery. We don't need you guys to help pay for the surgery, but I asked about if you guys wanted us to do a limited edition Shelby t-shirt. I think we're going to do the limited edition Shelby t-shirt and we'll use some of that money to fund the surgery and we'll donate some to the Husky Rescue. At least, I think that's what we're going to do. Hello Shirley! We invited quite a few people, but everybody kind of just didn't want to go. I mean, I know it's a little bit harder when you don't have a camper. We used to camp all the time before we got our camper and then we graduated from a camper to a pop-up and then from a pop-up to a bigger pop-up to a bigger pop-up to the travel trailer that we have now. We used to camp in a tent all the time, but I think you either love it or you're not that fond of it and thankfully because we're only camping like ten minutes from home, they can just come out and hang out with us and then they can actually go home whenever they want to, but they're actually getting ready right now too, because we're all going kayaking together. It makes me sad that I can't take her into dog bakeries and stuff. You definitely want to use a lot of positive reinforcement, distractions, treats, anything to really distract the dog from what's going on around them to hopefully break them of the fact that they're scared of those things. Hopefully. Hopefully, hopefully, hopefully. I just saw the dog treat videos. We did a dog treat video on Monday. We did fidget spinner dog treats, which actually spin, which is kind of cool and then Wednesday we did a digging video. Husky digging party video, so you should definitely go check both of those out. Where is Memphis? I don't know where Memphis is. No, this is not my first live stream. Alright, it looks like they're waving at me so they are getting ready to go. So the girls can sing for you.
