Good morning you beautiful people today yet at the holy ground of Malta archery.
Thank you Danny for letting me use it. We have another bow review and this one is especially
for my patrons. You voted for this one and happiness comes in small boxes
from Lukas Nawalny. The ultra speed Turkish for my patrons. I'm so excited. So we need to pack it
obviously unpack it. Too excited. It's always nicely packed so you can't see anything but this
black stuff needs to go anyway. The ultra speed Turkish and it's by the way Lukas's own
favorite bow when he goes to tournaments. So this one is his most favorite bow.
Now we need to cut these open here. Almost done guys. Almost done. Who still sits back there
normally or who sits already on the edge of the chair? Like me. Don't know what to expect.
Let's see what we get. Most of it is still stuck there so now it's gone. It's the ultra speed setup
specially designed for max speed of arrow. Extreme light seawood. Density of this wood is about 400
kilograms per cubic meter. Hard maple ash around 750 kilograms per cubic meter. So almost half
the weight of ash seers. So this wood is almost to 10. This is what I just said. All laminated
or laminates on belly and in core are tapered to the outside. In working part of limb thickness
of belly laminate runs six millimeters. In middle of kazan only 0.8 millimeter. Similar design was
used on historical Turkish flight bows. So what we get is still this nice bag as we know it and
nice paperwork. So then we get obviously the warranty card. Lukas Navalny's business card
and the warranty card. It's a Turkish long 45 pounds at 28 has a max draw of 31.
That's what you get from camelot archery.
And I will put this one in the envelope too. So the
patron who wins this bow will have all information on hand. And now look at this. I hope you see it guys.
Look at these details here.
And arrow parts. Pretty string. Oh and design wise here I like my Saracen almost
So that's all. I didn't find this specific bow on this website so I have no idea of the data.
That's why we just simply start and I tell you directly because I have it now in my hands the
length of the string. 48 inches. So then this bow has 46 pounds. At max draw most probably it will
have 55 pounds. 31 inch draw it would do 32 but he limits it to 31. Arrow weight and now listen
And he gave me the slow bow string so you could have another string which will increase the
speed of this bow of another 5 to 10 foot per second. But for me because I'm such an
unexperienced archer he gave only the slow string. But if you get this bow when you want to order
from him the fastest string you can get it. The price of this bow I don't know now. He said there
everything is written in it but it's nothing so I don't know now the price of this one.
If I find it somewhere on the website I will let you know. Look at this pretty one. Damn patrons
everything is tapered. Well sorry but we're back to business. What I can tell you is the length and
we don't have string pads here. We have a slightly string groove here. We will see how it works.
Pretty pretty bow. So 53 inches from nock to nock. Arrow passing we have on both sides
a leather inlay. It is so cool. East 23 23 millimeters. Wow now we need to string this one.
Nice so really thank you Lukas for sending this bow to us so I can give it to one of our patrons.
The string looks so good and matches the color so just perfectly. Wow so I envy the one who will
get this bow. Still in here. So easy. The long turkish ultra speed. What a pretty bow this is.
Dang it. 7 3 quarter almost 8. We give it 8. 475 fine by me but you know
design is one thing but of course I don't have to mention I guess this bow is straight
this bow is stiff and this bow is okay stiff so when you get it a little more on the sea as you
feel a little wobbling but it's it's built for performance so it's not the most robust bow so to
say but this bow will still outlast you. And today I prepared three different arrows. I prepared one
so if the bow has 55 pounds then I have arrows they have 10 grain 8.5 and 7.3 so this is the
most lightweight arrow I could find in or which oh the nocks are a little tight so most probably
my cotch nock will stick on the string. Holy mother. Okay. And of course it's a Navalny bow
so we shoot the Navalny ring with it which just fits like a charm.
What I did today I put some foam stoppers there for later when we do the speed test that I really
make sure that I draw 31 inches. Sometimes I draw a little too short and you know that.
So these arrows are 560 grain so this would be roughly then 10 grain only to see what the bow
is doing with heavy arrows. Not built for heavy arrows in any way. So I was still not full draw you
saw that. Even 10 grain. Oh my shoulders. They are 465 ish so this would be then 8 grain something.
I forgot to mention handjob or vibration or something. There's nothing. Oh I almost
overdrew it now because I didn't have my stoppers there. Kicks arrows away. Still not a thumb ring guy.
So with these arrows you feel it a little in the hand.
And my beloved Sungurs. Turkish arrows for Turkish bow. 400 grain. But this is then 7.3 grain
so this is the closest to the minimum grain per pound I have arrows. The others are way too
lightweight so that's why I didn't even bring them. Ah nice. It's that vibration. We go away. Who cares.
So and I shot not all arrows in a group like this directly out of the box. This bow
you shoot an arrow and you know what this bow is doing. Incredible. And as I didn't prepare my
arrows with in sending down the quilt you still get a little scratchy here but you know
simply means shot by me. I already understand why this is Lukasz's
favorite bow for tournaments. 30 meters. There's no target over there. Heavy arrows. Oh that's
another insert. So 10 grain is really too heavy. 8 and a little grain. Can you? Thank you.
Shit I got stuck here. 8 and a little grain. Almost broke my thumb now.
What happened? String slipped behind the ring and got stuck. Nice.
So with this ring you need to be careful. I got the string got stuck now behind this small groove here
and then the hole almost my finger broke. So this ring you need to be a little careful that the
string really sits there and doesn't go behind this edge. At least me because I'm the thumb ring shooter.
So and 7.3 grain. Soon go over there. 500 spine I think. So maybe a little underspined.
Yep I see the wobble. A little underspined. Yeah but with a clean release and stuff you know.
You know it. And a little string twist. Still a little wobbly. It's a little too weak for the
spine for a 55 pound. Ow! So now my thumb hurts because of this freaking ring. And I directly
shot here a little piece of the ring off. So the string got stuck behind there.
I got it there. Then a little piece of the ring came off which is not a nice thing.
So 28. 46.5. 29 is here. Roughly. It's a little tricky because I don't have a peg. 48.7.
It's here. 51.7 which would be roughly here. 54.5 yep. So we are just in the ballpark as he mentioned.
Thank you. So the last inch is then already going a little up. Pretty. Of course it's a
Turkish bow. No not there yet. Let's see 30. So at 30 we are just in my way of measuring.
When you measure it from like bamboo archery then you would need to measure it from here.
Then we're already at almost 90 degrees as you can. Yeah not 90 but 80 degrees. But this is how
I measure. Pretty huh. I don't have a peg at 31 so I can't show you. But there's nothing. Look this
is. There's no stress at all in this bow. Fade out is long enough. Look when it starts bending.
Pretty. Look at this pretty bow. So these nice reinforced sears. Awesome. There you have the
description on it. The horn belly. Fake horn. And this decoration here is just wow. And here nice
whipping and colorful really wow. And then this nice accent I like. On the back on the handle
like whatever. Shark skin, ray skin something. These two inlays. What a pretty bow and even a
string with the color. You know this is sometimes you get a nice bow and then the string is
completely off with the color. But this one is just the perfect match. It's such a beautiful bow
and the handle is just nice. So this handle is awesome. Just does the job.
You have control over everything and cutlery and torque and whatever.
Wow. I put the markings on 31 inches. 10 grain. Let's see what it does. 171. I only have two
arrows of these left. I just broke one. 150. That was a bad shot. 170. 8 grain. 8 point something grain.
189. More likely. 182. So another ring scratches. But all in the name of science.
No pain no gain. Just do it. So 7.3 grain or 7.4 or something. Here we read it.
199. 580. We do this again. Yeah.
Yeah this is what it feels like. 200. Getting faster here.
So 200 foot per second. No problem.
Few shots. 8 point and a little. And they have 500 spine.
So now the bow starts flexing a little more. So I guess after a few shots we get even more
speed out of it. Yeah. Nice. So and they are underspined. That's why they wobble.
Look at them. And you see it nice because they are white.
Now we are friends. I might not draw this bow 31 inches.
Because even on my shoulder. But even at 30 inches this is just nothing.
Nothing. A little in the hand but it got already better. So no worries at all about anything.
I hold the bow upright so you see what the bow is doing.
Now I tilt the bow and shoot a little in string twist. Because even then these arrows fly nice.
What to say. An incredible bow. So this bow really performs just exceptionally good. Speed wise
200 foot per second. I don't know. I guess it could be faster.
And with the other string you get 10 foot per second more. So it should be no big deal.
Craftsmanship is. I mean. Look I suppose. What can I tell you. Bow string sleeve documentation
is four points right. Where do I have my bow string sleeve documentation.
No six points. Handling of the bow. Easy to string. The bow is sturdy. It doesn't wiggle.
So this is like. It's no problem. Surely not your first bow if you invest in this one. So
you know already what to do. 10. The build as I said before and you saw the photos. Just
totally nothing to complain. The easy 10. 10 plus. Basic feel. I felt it a little
in the hand in the beginning but it went away. And for the rest. Handle feels just nice. Arrow
pass is narrow enough. We have almost 8 inches brace height. So there is no. This is nothing.
Nothing to complain either. But you guessed it. Basic feel 10. Draw experience is just 28. 29.
30. 31. Then you feel it. It gets a little stiff. But it's not annoying. So
gets a little into stacking. But it's very smooth. So it's nothing to. That's easy 31. 10.
And shooting. I shot different arrows. That's why it was a little tricky. But
you set with one matching set of arrows and then instantly you know what this bow is doing.
And you will. This bow gives you feedback. And you will know what this bow is capable of.
And I guess even with heavier arrows you can go hunting with this one. So this is just a
really nice beast. And 55 pounds is I think just a nice sweet spot for this bow. But of course you
can have Lukasz bows in even higher poundages. But you check on his website and you ask him.
10. So price total we have 56. Price I can't tell because I didn't find it on the website.
And Lukasz didn't mention how much this bow is. So I can't tell. But as with all his other bows
they are just worth it. The experience. The shooting experience you get out of this bow is.
I mean I had no horn bows. Don't want to say anything. But this one just you know. You really
need a very very good horn bow. That you have something which would outperform this one. And
then you're I don't know two and a half three thousand dollars. This one most probably lays
around I don't know seven eight hundred dollars. And you get 95 percent of it. So that's why for
me always this one. And price wise I give you five. This doesn't matter. Even if it's thousand
euros I would pay it. Because I'm a little crazy. So patrons. One of you will get this bow.
I will ask two questions. Because I have to make it a bit more complicated. Because this is really
a pretty bow. Thank you very much Lukasz for doing that. For being here. For building these
bows. I really really appreciate what you're doing. Thank you so much. Thank you patrons for
making this all possible. That you have always these nice bows to test. And then one of you can
have it. And thank you all for watching. And that you all subscribe now to my channel. Click
the subscribe button. Thank you very much for watching. I catch you in the next one.
