Business on the bayou is thriving thanks to the Working Families Tax Cut.
The Labor Secretary is here in Louisiana.
She joined Senator Bill Cassidy on an airboat tour touting the Big Beautiful Bill.
Wonderful to have the Secretary here to showcase my state.
No tax on tips, no tax on overtime.
So in Louisiana, that's going to benefit a lot of hardworking Americans.
And that's the goal of the One Big Beautiful Bill.
The Senator driving an airboat looking for alligator eggs.
This actually helps the environment.
They mentioned that only 4% of eggs survive in the wild.
They harvest them, 85% of them survive.
And then they return a portion of the live alligators
that result from that back to this environment.
The alligator population is much larger now than it used to be
because they put alligators back into the swamp.
And by the way, they use everything off that alligator.
We're using the ecosystem to support jobs and the jobs support the ecosystem.
And in that way, Louisiana is a model for the rest of the country.
Thank you for what you're doing every single day in the Senate.
Thanks for the One Big Beautiful Bill and letting me come brag about it.
And thanks for caring about Louisiana.
And thanks for caring about the jobs we create.
We have others that are more traditional, but this is more fun.
This was very unique.
And again, I'll come back.
I'd like to do an alligator hunt.
That's great.
Thank you.
