Sassuolo-Como | Highlights | Sassuolo Halt In-Form Como | Serie A 2025/26

Glorionte, here come the home side looking to break early. Enzola, shot comes in and it is fractionally wide from Christian Torstvedt. The shot taking a slight deflection as it just went wide. Luka da Cunha, Glorionte under pressure, turns, gets it up towards the halfway line. Certainly one for Enzola to chase and this could be a real opening for the home side. And they make the most of that. Christian Volparto puts the Nero Verdi ahead on the counter-attack. Volparto with just his second goal of the campaign. And here is Glorionte and here is Enzola again. Enzola to make it two. Sassuolo double their advantage and Bala, Enzola. Cross from Smocic, pass and the ball drops in over the head of Torati and completely out of the blue, Como have halved the arrears. Peroni chipping the ball forward, passes there, diverted it goalwards and Torati I think just managed to get a glove on it. That was very close to an equaliser for Como. There is the final whistle, a smile on the face of Fabio Grosso but this is a big blow indeed to Como's Champions League ambitions. It finished Sassuolo two, Como one.
