This is the moment a nine-meter humpback whale was rescued after becoming stranded on a beach in Australia.
The 10-tonne marine giant was freed and guided back into the ocean off Forster on April 14, after becoming trapped in shallow waters in a desperate and complex rescue operation.
The sub-adult humpback had entered the Coolongolook River the day before, before becoming stuck on a sandbar where it was unable to return to deeper water.

We're going to go have a look.
Just kind of steer it off.
Yep, I want to get it.
That's there.
Yep.
That's fine.
Come on, bud. Come on.
Not done.
You all good?
Yep.
In the end.
It's released.
I'm going to go around.
Yep.
That's good.
Perfect.
Alright, he's going to be on that deep edge.
Do you want me to undo this?
Careful, lad.
Watch that fluke, Benno.
Yep, I've got it.
Come on!
Good.
That's the right way too.
Marine Rescue, just a heads up.
We're on our way.
They're swimming freely.
So we're going to try to guide her.
Cross the dive.
Hit the dive.
Yeah, gotcha.
Yeah, yeah.
Just steer.
Bruh.
Push out.
Be careful of the tail fluke, Lizzie.
She's going to roll out of it.
That's alright, though.
Get out of the left hand.
Alright.
Heading the right way.
Keep him heading that way, Fluke.
Do you want to...
Yep.
