A whole extra-large Baja Blast, one five-hour, extra-strength five-hour energy, and then two zins.
As often as possible, I am in this seat being no help.
Absolute lead singer syndrome.
There are lean years and there are plentiful years.
We're in a plentiful year right now.
What's up?
We're Good Terms.
I'm Brian.
I'm Zach.
This is my boy, Zach.
We're in rainy, cold Chicago for the first time on the Highway to Hell Yeah Brother Tour,
our first headline tour.
And we're going to talk tour.
We're going to talk tour van.
And yeah, this tour has been absolutely crazy for us.
The most rewarding thing we've ever done.
A ton of work.
Definitely the best Good Terms tour, that's for sure.
Yeah, definitely pinching myself.
I say pinching myself every day, man.
I mean, we've done two years of fantastic opening slots and some cool headline stuff, right?
But first headliner.
To go out and, you know, these people in these cities, some of which we've never been to,
they all know the words.
They're all trying to sing along.
Really couldn't be more grateful, man.
And we're playing Chicago proper for the first time, baby.
Chicago has told us many times we've played West Chicago only in the past.
And everyone comes up to the merch table.
Although someone did say like, oh, yeah, if you actually don't play only in this very
specific portion, no one will say it's Chicago.
But I don't know.
We love you, Chicago, regardless.
And we are not playing West Chicago.
We're playing Chicago, baby.
I'm Belmont, dude.
I'm stoked.
So when it comes to the front seat and the driving as often as possible, I am in this
seat being no help.
Absolute lead singer syndrome.
Yeah, I'm not doing anything.
Usually our guitar player, Ivan, who I call our big guitar player, which you'll be able
to tell when you see the band, he does.
You got to pry him out of the driver's seat.
And he's a big guy.
He's a big guy.
He's also a great driver.
He's a great driver.
He's done a lot of driving.
He's driven a lot of things.
The best, I'd say.
He's the best.
So we got Ivan.
When we have him, Gio, with his, I think, Class B CDL, as he's so stoked that I just
said, Gio will also hop in the driver's seat.
Our boy Brendan will hop in the driver's seat.
When we have our boy Nick, our boy Nicky Sticks will hop in the driver's seat.
So there's a little bit of a rotation going on.
But Ivan definitely is the captain of the ship, for sure.
But you did some driving, too.
I'll drive.
I'm usually taking care of some laptop ----.
So I always feel like, am I hurting the whole tour by driving and not doing productive ----?
But I'm happy to drive.
I've driven many, I've driven a Sprinter for a whole tour before.
So I've got the skills now.
But yeah, normally I'm right back here.
I like this spot.
Ivan's typically up here.
Brian is always in the front.
Yeah, I'm always in the front.
We've got this little inverter that we got from a Love's.
We actually bought, the first one that we bought just didn't work.
And we didn't keep the receipt.
And it's, that's just 50 bucks in the toilet.
But you know what?
Such is life.
Got these sick crocodile cloth wipes.
These are the best hand wipes, like heavy duty ----.
These are a bunch of books that, who gave you those?
Ivan's mom?
Dude, Ivan's mom gave me those.
This is very nice because my house burned down last year.
And I had a big collection of music biographies and whatnot.
And she knew I had this massive collection.
And at one of her recent shows, she gave me all these books.
Which is very, very, very touching.
And I have nowhere to store them.
It's very safe.
So I have them all up here in the front seat next to my dashboard cookies.
Not to be confused with all the other cookies that we're going to show you later.
Oh yeah, the snack situation is...
This is my small stash of cookies.
We got, yeah, obviously we've got paper towels.
We got, here's really the real big secret to how Ivan does what he does.
I mean, that's got to be, what, 30, 35, 40 hours of energy in there.
Ivan's been making his way through those.
I should tell them about the Zinucchino, right?
Yeah, you should, absolutely.
So Ivan has created a drink that's called the Zinuccino.
Where he...
This is a medium Baja Blast, I believe.
I'll take an extra large.
So he'll get an extra large Baja Blast while his beet is being fed.
He puts a whole extra large Baja Blast, one five-hour, extra strength five-hour energy.
And then two Zins.
Spearmint Zin, I think.
Don't show them the actual flavor.
But yeah, and that is the Zinuccino.
So best of luck.
Ivan is also like a superhero.
So maybe just don't ever anyone want to try that.
Yeah, we personally don't endorse that at all.
But it is what's happening while we're sitting in the passenger princess seats.
That is how we're getting around town.
Yes.
All right, welcome to my space.
We got the trash in front of me.
We've got this cup holder that someone else is taking advantage of right now.
We have so much water.
We try to steal as much water from the venue every night as we can.
I think we actually have too much right now.
Technically, we do pay for this in our hospitality rider.
There are lean years and there are plentiful years.
We're in a plentiful year right now.
But yeah, so normally it's me sitting here.
I like to be kind of locked in.
I'll strut myself in.
I got my, where's my, okay, got my Bucky's neck pillow.
I like to like sit here, lock the **** in and just do some work on my laptop.
That is my ideal situation.
We got our road guitar back here.
Actually, many of the songs on our new record that we're making were written on this guitar
by Brian in the front seat while Ivan is driving.
Because Ivan has a thing where he writes, he just, when he's driving, that's like the,
I don't know, it's like the showering thing.
You could think of lyrics in the shower.
He thinks of lyrics when he's driving.
So there's been many songs written with me sitting right here.
Brian's sitting right there with the acoustic guitar.
And then all of us just, you know, doing, shouting lyrics back and forth.
Rest of the van, we have, Brian is sitting in the cuck chair right now.
Just this solo, solo chair.
That's kind of a nice extend your legs seat.
This back area is, Ivan's kind of turned into a bunk.
So we've got some mattress pads that sometimes we'll use if the, if like a hotel
pullout situation is like absolutely brutal.
But normally this is just kind of like a nice one person can lay down blanket padding.
It's like a quasi bunk.
Usually Ivan is either driving or horizontal there.
And I don't blame him because it, it rules.
Snack alley.
We were very blessed to, to travel along the East coast where we passed through my mom,
Ivan's mom, Ivan's step-mom, uh, Nick Servone's mom, who was filling in for the first on drums
for the first half of the tour.
Who else?
Somebody, somebody else too.
Oh, and Ivan's aunt.
Uh, it's, it's dwindled down now, but at one point all of these bags were filled and we,
we've organized them into various different things.
So this is like the savory snack chip type bag.
Got some dots pretzels.
It's a variety of Trader Joe's things.
I am a big fan of these.
Got some beef jerky.
Mostly a lot of like Trader Joe's trail mix type, like mixed nuts, dried cranberry.
That's my jam.
Um, I don't know what everyone else has eaten.
This was definitely full.
The thing about these is that we didn't pick these.
Oh, this isn't us going to the store and getting our favorite things.
We were just gifted all of this.
And then people be like, Hey, do you want to try these just straight up garlic flavored
potato chips?
You want to try these ketchup flavored potato?
Just like the craziest things I didn't know existed.
I'll take you through the spread though.
All right.
So we got the savory chip bag.
So this is, this is now probably two thirds empty of what it was.
We've got the, Oh, this is the cookie bag.
Just cookies.
Just cook.
Just was full of homemade.
There's so many in here, dude.
Oh, this was, this is the one that I have really done the most damage on.
This is the nut bag.
So we've got some trail mix that was in here.
Oh, this is the nut sack.
Of course I messed up.
I totally fumbled the bag on that 30 year old men.
Uh, yeah.
Got some various nuts.
What is this one?
Candy.
Oh, the candy bag ended this for some reason, but yeah, mostly just random candy.
And then what's this one?
Is that the healthy snacks?
That's buried all the way at the bottom.
Yeah.
It looks like a dried cranberries and whatnot.
Oh yeah.
Okay.
So this is fruit and then like dried fruit.
Wow.
We shouldn't really be going into this more.
Yeah.
Actually this, let's put this at the top.
I want to dig into that later.
Cool.
Oh, and I think some protein bars that are left from Nick.
I actually would like one of those as well.
Thank you.
This is the trunk where we keep all the luggage and whatnot.
Very grateful for the transit band.
This stuff can fit all the way to the edge.
Really like that.
Very convenient.
So we got six, six grown men with all of our crap in here.
We got the extra bedding for when the pullout sucks.
We got some day bags and stuff we bring into the venue.
So you don't have to bring in the, uh, the entire suitcase.
We have my cot.
This is the biggest tour hack of all time.
Uh, this thing was like 200 bucks from REI, which is like kind of expensive,
but I probably slept in it over a hundred nights over the last year.
Uh, you bring it in when the pullout sucks, when you're staying at someone's house and
they don't have enough beds, when you just don't feel like sharing a bed that night,
bring in the cot.
I got the eggshell, uh, mattress topper kind of thing.
And I sleep on this almost every night.
And it's the same every night, uh, which rocks, uh, sleep is super, super important,
especially when you're singing, trying to keep your throat straight.
So that's what we got back here.
This thing is packed up pretty high and I'm very grateful that when I opened it,
it didn't all fall on me.
Thanks for checking out the Good Terms tour van.
We are on the, uh, our very first headline tour of the Highway to Hell Yeah Brother tour.
We just put on our song All In, which we're playing on this tour.
It's an absolute blast, man.
It's on our new record Burnout Deluxe, which has been an absolute blast to perform on this
tour with y'all.
Uh, y'all can hang out with us on our social media, man, on Instagram, on TikTok,
on Facebook, on the Discord, on the Discord, man.
You want to stay up to date with what Good Terms is doing?
I am there.
You are there also.
Mostly in DMs.
Most often, yeah.
Yeah, absolutely.
So it's very easy to stay in touch with us and we love to stay in touch.
So yeah.
Hell yeah, brother.
Come stay in touch.
Hell yeah, brother.
