He was tied up on the side of the road and his rope was literally just two feet short. He is a
wedding horse. It's a very popular tradition in India where the groom arrives on a white horse
to bring good luck to the wedding. After they're done working these horses are just tied up until
they're needed for the next wedding and that's the life that Kendall's had. He was kept tied up all
day and all night in the same spot just off the road where there was heavy traffic. We reached
out to his owner and asked him to surrender him to us and the moment he agreed we rushed to go
get him. As soon as we untied him he just turned around and he took off and he was like I'm so
ready to be free and he just bounded forward and never looked back. Kendall's hind legs are deformed
likely from a poor diet and being overworked but he now lives at our sanctuary where he will spend
the rest of his days wild and free as all horses should.
