BRAIN SURGERY? And Tater Tot Casserole (Strange combo right?)

Like literally, there's three cars in front of me. Can you see? Three cars in front of me. So, I think we're safe. So, the reason I'm doing this video is I am on the way to Big Boy right now. To meet with my mom and my aunt Anita. There are a lot of things going on in life that I don't share in the videos all the time. Because, I don't know, we only share five to twelve minutes every three days. So, there's a lot of things in life that just don't make it in the videos. Not necessarily that I don't want to put them in there. But, it's just stuff that either isn't that exciting or is kind of sad or whatever. So anyway, I'm on the way to go out to breakfast with my mom and my aunt. Because, my aunt who currently lives here and she's lived here for the past, I don't know, like nine or ten years. She is going to Arizona to be with my other aunt which you guys have seen in my videos. The one that comes and works at the deli with us. She's going to live out there with my other aunt for the winter and probably partially the spring. She had a bad fall a couple months ago and she was in the ICU for a few days and she's been in rehab ever since. So, she needs a little bit of extra help and you know we're all around here and my mom's been helping her out. But, something I haven't told you guys is that on November 19th, my brother which you guys have seen in the vlogs. My brother John Carl is having brain surgery on November 19th. So, that's going to make my mom and dad and all the rest of us very busy. So, my aunt is going out to Arizona to stay with my other aunt so she can continue to get the rehab and the help she needs out there. And we are going to be taking care of my brother who's having brain surgery. I don't want to go into too much detail on it because I read a lot about it but I'm not really... What he has is called Chaly Malformation. Chaly? Chaly Malformation? So, you can kind of look it up so you can learn what it is. I'm going to park. Hold on. So anyway, yeah. He has Chaly Malformation and he's going to be having brain surgery on November 19th. And I know he's going to be in the ICU for a couple of days and then he'll have like so many days where he has to be in the hospital. And then so many months of recovery. So yeah, so if you guys are praying people, pray for him. If you're not, keep him in your thoughts because it's kind of scary. Like I said, we haven't talked about it a whole lot in the video because it's kind of scary. It's one of those things and I don't like to talk about sad scary stuff. But I figured I better because you know, I also don't only do this for you guys. I do this for me too so I want to be able to look back and remember things as they happen. But my mom and my aunt just got here so I'm going inside. The dogs are waiting patiently for their dinner. You're waiting patiently for your dinner. So breakfast was fun. It was good. I didn't take any video while I was there. There was a million people there. I forgot it was Sunday and it was after church. So yeah, there was a million people there. But if you can't tell, it's a lazy Sunday. Got home, put my pajamas on because I'm not leaving the house again today. At all. Right girls? Say right. Okay, so in one of our last videos, I don't remember which one it was. We were talking about some different treats and foods that we wanted. I told you guys if you wanted to send us stuff, we have a PO box and you can send us stuff. And we got stuff you guys. Like not for the dogs. Everything we get is always for the dogs but we got stuff for us. We got two things. This is from Matt and Tanya Butner. Because they heard us mentioning mint Oreos. So we have to eat some mint Oreos. We can get more mint Oreos before the mint video occurs. You don't get mint Oreos from our town? Yeah, I can get mint Oreos from our town. Oh my goodness! I'm gonna have Oreos in my teeth. They're really good with hot chocolate. Mint Oreos with hot chocolate are delicious. Now I gotta open this one. Then we got a card and a package from Blennis and mom. It says, for the master. I guess that means you. Somebody's gotta open that. Greg's like, I'm opening it. I already know what it is. I only know what it is because... Let me fix this. I opened it because I thought it was for the dogs and it wasn't. Guess what you guys? The one thing we didn't get to try in our fall taste video. You know, the pumpkin spice ones are delicious. Right? No, you can not have that. If you want one, take one. I want one. Thank you for sending this stuff you guys. You can't have one. Oh, they smell good. What's the conclusion? These are limited edition so we probably can't ever get them again until next year. We couldn't get them anyway, but look, now we got some. Those are really good. Those are really good. That's like the perfect apple flavor. Those are delicious. I don't know if you can get them, but supposedly they're at Target. But we couldn't find them. You can't have any. They're really good. They are. Those are a win. Caramel Apple Oreos for the win. What do you think? Something's happening? I have to show you guys this. We look like Oreo fiends now. Because there's so many Oreos in our fridge. Now we're going to make dinner. We're going to make tater tot casserole. For those of you who have never made tater tot casserole, this is one of those simple, easy, cheap meals that anybody can make. All you need is hamburger, tater tots, cheese, cream of potato or cream of mushroom soup, and green beans if you really want. You don't have to put... Or corn. Some people throw a different vegetable in. We're going to make it. We're going to show you real quick how to do it. Greg's over here because he's working on his YouTube channel. For those of you that don't know, he did start a YouTube channel for his kitties. There's a link down in the video description if you want to go subscribe to Greg's channel. By now, there should be videos up on your channel by now, right? So by the time you guys see this, he will have videos up on his channel. Somehow. It'll happen. First, you got to take like a pound of burger and fry it. Okay, if you like your tater tots really crunchy while your hamburger is cooking, go ahead and pop these in the oven at like 350F. You need it at 350F to cook it all anyway. What? Think we're going to feed you two? I use a big cake pan. If you use a big cake pan, use a can of green beans, two cans of cream of whatever type of soup you want. That's a whole heck of a lot of meat. Then, we got to add the tater tots. We stir half the tater tots in and the other half we put on top. So, we'll get going on that. Mix it all together too. We're going to dump this in here and mix it all together. And cheese. Don't forget cheese. About one bag, which I don't know what that is. Like two cups? Two cups of cheese. So, from your whole bag of tater tots, you take like a little bit less than half and you mix them in with the mix. Then, these are all going to get layered on top. Now, it's all mixed up. Now, we're putting these on top. We put it in the oven for about 35 to 45 minutes. And then, we can eat it. Not you girls. Well, you girls might get some. But, not all of it. Oakley's like, come on! Beautiful! Is it done? Is it done? Holy done! The trick is, for the last two minutes you turn the broiler on and it browns up them hash browns just right. Look at it. It's all bubbly. Now, you have to wait a little bit to eat it. You'll burn your face off. We'll stick our ruby traps so the dogs don't eat it. That's so the dogs don't jump up here and try to get it. Well, no. Yep, it's delicious. And, Greg will have a video up by the time you guys see this. I had to help him because he couldn't get his stupid program to work on his computer. But, now it's working. He might have even another video up by the time you guys see this video. Right Memphis? Right? Want to watch the kitties? I think Shelby wants something that you have there. I think she wants something. I think they all do. None of them have realized that Greg's over there eating yet. Is it good? It's a win. Tater tot casserole win. What are you doing bad dog?
