Paint A Flower Painting With Me

Welcome back to my channel and into my studio I hope you can grab a cup of coffee and sit down and join me while I use My 12 by 12 of this small floral to create a larger version So I've sped up the video a little bit so that you wouldn't be here for hours, but I hope you enjoy this I'll put on some music You tag along and I'll see you at the end But before I leave you to the music, I'll explain a little bit about what you're gonna see So here I have started on my red canvas, which is a color that I often use a cadmium red hue By Windsor Newton is the color of choice that I use we thin it out Roll it on. I don't try to be too careful about it. I don't try to make it perfect It's really there to be a great receiver of the colors that I use it helps my colors to pop and it gets rid of That scary, right? scary scary white so then I often will go in once I'm looking at the image and paint in the mid ground Darkest colors. I tend to that that's just how I ground the painting. I start with those shapes I'm color blocking at this stage So you're gonna see me using all sorts of different colors. I pick up lots of paint on my brush I mix right on the canvas. I don't mix on my palette. I pick up many colors and I Love this method. It's fresh.
