Johnny Depp Makes Rare Appearance as CinemaCon Breaks MAJOR Movie News!

Maybe it's the right way to go. Bundled up, waving, and looking grateful on stage, Johnny had the audience screaming while promoting his first big role since the 2022 Amber Heard defamation trial. He proudly showed scenes from Ebenezer, A Christmas Carol, out November 13th. Silence! A Christmas Carol is one of my favorite films of all time. Yeah, different angle on Scrooge. From Ryan Gosling to Michael B. Jordan to Snoop Dogg, the stars descended on Sin City, and one key takeaway today? Mavericks inbound. Paramount officially confirmed Top Gun 3 is a go, bringing these two back together. I'm actually pushing myself. Another Top Gun movie? The script is being written for that one. Okay, it's in the works. Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro also reunited to show off Fokker-in-Law. The hell's the matter with you, Fokker? Fokker-in-Law. You've got Ariana Grande coming in as the daughter-in-law. I've been having the best time with her. She's incredible. Ben and Ariana actually play rivals in the comedy out November 25th. Looks like the helicopter dad isn't exactly pleased she's about to marry his son. I thought this would be an opportunity to get to know me, to bond. How do you bond with an emotional puppeteer? Geppetto. Meanwhile, I was exclusive backstage with the stars of another can't-wait-to-see film. Spaceballs 2. It's actually called Spaceballs, the new one, and it's out April 23rd, 2027. 40 years since the original? 38, 39. 39 years. It felt like I was living life all over again. Yeah. The only difference was Bill came with his son. But other than that, it felt exactly like the first movie. Let's just shoot. Yeah, we were on the original 1986 set with Rick Moranis, Daphne Zuniga, Mel Brooks, and Bill Pullman. You were about Louis' age in the first one, right? Yeah. So was this the ultimate full-circle moment? Yeah, yeah, there was a lot of fugue state. I'm sitting here, but that guy looks a lot like my back. What's happening? Oh, it's Louis. This was a terrifying one to kind of pop into. It was such a legendary bunch. What I wouldn't have given to be on set. I remember Rick coming up with the whole toy thing. Oh, your helmet is so big. I played with the toys for a while, and then Mel thought, you know, I could shoot it. Fan boy, Josh Gad, ensured they'd be in good hands co-writing the script as a tribute to the cast, including comedy legend, John Candy. The movie honors John in a beautiful way, not just in a funny way, in, I hope, a profound way. We're also honoring Mel Brooks's legacy. He's 99. It's me, Mel Brooks. He is as funny today as he was 40 years ago. It's incredible to have him with us every step of the way. Another funny cast reuniting backstage, Sean and Marlon Wayans and their scary movie co-star, Anna Faris. We back. We've been with them on set all this time. I get to be a part of a distant, like, family member. It has been such a... A lot of family members. She's gotten rid of the last name Faris. She's now Anna Wayans. Honorable. I'm so freaking pissed. I want y'all to just break the news that you're gonna make another White Chicks. I'll put it this way. We're game. If this movie does well, a White Chicks 2 can happen. And I've, like, pitched myself for the movie. Yeah. For White Chicks 2. Yes, but I don't know. She's a little bit too expensive for us. The sixth horror movie spoof hits theaters June 5th, the same day as the new Masters of the Universe film. I have the power! Can we talk about the physical transformation? It's something that I, you know, slaved away at for the five months that we had before filming. What did you eat for the most? Chicken and rice. And they kept having food trucks every Friday with burgers and tacos. I've never seen a better craft. I'm like, stop eating that around me, otherwise I'm gonna freak out. You might not know, at one point, Noah Centineo was attached to the role of He-Man. He was at CinemaCon also, hyping up his new project, Street Fighter, based on the classic video game, with his co-stars, including Biddy Cent. How was the physicality of making this movie? It was a very physical movie. Biddy punched me in the face. That was an accident, bro. Stop telling people that. You're so used to those rom-coms, right? I'm just not the action guy, bro. I went through this thing where I was like, oh, you punch a superstar in the face, you ain't getting the next job. Right? I started worrying about my future.
