Congrats & thanks to @uflstorm Head Coach @anthony_becht for achieving a perfect 4-0 record & leading the only undefeated team in the @ufl, as well as for answering my questions on the @alanalford_ Sports Talk Show!
Watching Game 4 against the @uflstallions was intense & competitive, but the Stallions managed to stay in it. I spoke with Coach Becht about this situation.
Congrats again to the Orlando Storm! In their matchup against the Stallions, the Storm made UFL history by becoming the first team in regular season play to completely shut out their opponent!
The defense really showed up! Donnie Abraham, the Orlando Storm's Defensive Coordinator, was spotted in a team post dancing with joy over the Storm's impressive record and performance!
I was able to talk to Coach Becht about DC Donnie Abraham.
Fun Fact: DC Donnie Abraham is a 9-year NFL veteran & All-Pro cornerback who played for the @buccaneers & @nyjets.
In one season, Mr. Abraham was the NFL co-leader in interceptions—truly impressive! Mr. Abraham was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, whose Training Camp I had the privilege of covering for a day just last season. Even now, Mr. Abraham keeps strong ties to Tampa, which also happens to be where I currently live!
That being said, I have about a two-hour drive each way, every time the Orlando Storm have a home game. If Mr. Abraham & I can make it, so can you!
This Saturday, the Orlando Storm face off against Coach Becht's former team, the @uflbattlehawks—a tough opponent. Let’s pack @interco_stadium & cheer them on as they aim for a perfect 5-0 record! The game kicks off at 7:00 PM EST and will be broadcast on @espn.

Please enjoy this fantastic interview with Head Coach Anthony Becht!
Thanks to Coach Becht for the interview & to the Orlando Storm plus the UFL for giving the Alan Alford Sports Talk Show such an amazing opportunity!
On behalf of the Alan Alford Sports Talk Show, I tremendously appreciate you all!
Coach Beck congratulates also on being 4-0.
And you know, watching the game,
it was definitely a competitive game,
but it did seem like Birmingham
did stay in the game for a while.
As a coach, does it get difficult
when you feel as if your team
is not able to give that knockout blow?
Yeah, well, that's our league, Alan.
I mean, you know, there is a lot of parity.
I mean, I like to sit here and say at 4-0,
you know, we're the most dominating team top to bottom,
but we haven't played our best game yet.
It excites me that I can say that,
but I think the good thing about it is our guys fight.
They finish, they feed off of each other.
If the defense has to go out there and pitch a shutout
because we're not scoring as many touchdowns
or we're only getting field goals,
well, you know what?
You gotta go do it.
I mean, that's just what football is.
So I think we take that responsibility
on any side or any phase of the game.
You know, I'm waiting for special teams
to make splash plays.
We're getting close there.
We should have blocked the punt.
We got a penalty on it.
We don't want that, but man, we had two free runners, man.
We gotta make that play, so that's coming.
And offensively, man, like you turn on the film now
and you'll find stuff that's like next level.
And we also see stuff that we can control to be better at.
And we just want more because, you know,
we desire to be the best.
We desire to be great and we desire to, you know,
achieve at a level that, you know,
quite frankly, we should be.
So we're not there yet because it hasn't been complete.
So, but we've made the plays when needed.
So you're always in a game.
You're, you know, it's 16 nothing,
two scores away from tying the game, right?
So that's what our league is,
but I never really felt like we weren't in control,
just the ebb and flows of that game.
And that's what's important.
So again, we finished the game.
I love the fact that we're able to run the clock out
with the ball in our hands.
That's vitally important.
And, you know, we came out with a huge win.
Yes, coach.
Mike, you're right.
You know, first time in UFL history,
a shutout defense was stellar.
Can you talk about Donnie Abraham
and his defensive coordinating?
He seemed very excited about the result.
Yeah, you know what?
He deserved that.
You know, he's not a guy that's going to attract the media.
He's not a guy that's going to, you know,
get the mic on him during the game
and you're going to get something great out of him.
But man, we all know how hard it is with the scoring
and the different ways to score in our league
to shut a team out.
And, you know, I don't care what anybody says,
like Matt Corral, very good quarterback.
They got receivers everywhere.
They got playmakers now.
And, you know, to do that on their home field,
their home opener in front of 18,000 fans,
you know, there was a lot of onus on us to really step up.
And I can't be more happier for Donnie.
He deserves everything from it.
He deserves all the praise.
He deserves to have his week to shine.
And, you know, we gave up how many passing yards
the week before?
Like, man, don't flinch.
We're not chewing guys out.
We're not walking on eggshells, man.
Like, hey, let's make the corrections.
We know we got it in us and let's be better, man.
And he's just a great communicator.
And, you know, it's awesome to see, man.
So love to get more.
Let's get back to back.
First time in UFL history, that'd be great too.
And then this way,
we won't have to worry about anything else on our team.
We'll just shut them out every week,
but the expectation's higher now.
So let's go, Donnie.
Let's get them going.
Thank you.
See you.
