2 DIFFERENT BALLETS on the SAME Day! 🩰 Serenade + Sleeping Beauty

Hey guys, so today is Friday. I'm going to be taking you guys along on my weekend of shows with New Jersey Ballet. This weekend we actually have two different show programs that we are doing in one weekend. So today is Friday and we are doing our Icons of American Ballet program. I will be doing Serenade in this program. Then this weekend we are also doing Sleeping Beauty, full length Sleeping Beauty. So we are doing two shows of Icons of American Ballet on Friday and Saturday and then we are doing two shows of Sleeping Beauty on Saturday and Sunday. I'm excited. We've been rehearsing in the theater pretty much all week and yesterday we actually had a little school show. Today is the first real show. It is currently 7am, 7.30am. We start at 10am today at the theater, so not too early. So yeah, we are going to be at the theater basically all day. So I have to make sure I pack enough food to sustain me throughout the whole day. I think we have a dress rehearsal today of Serenade before the actual show. We had one dress rehearsal yesterday, but Serenade is like, obviously there's a lot of dancers on stage in Serenade for most of it. So it can be very tricky with the spacing and everything, especially in a new space and a stage. I hope it goes better today. It was honestly a little bit rough yesterday. Hey guys, I just got my outfit on. I'm wearing grey. Now I'm going to do my hair. We are doing Balanchine buns for Serenade and Sublime Beauty. So I need to do that. Let's look back. It's 8.30 now and I'm about to head out with my bag full of stuff. I think today is actually the first day of spring, but it's been pretty cold outside even though it is like midway through March, but I think it's going to be a little bit warmer today and tomorrow. Going to head to the theater now for my first show. Okay, hi guys. We are at the theater now. We're at the theater. We have class in probably five minutes and we're tired. We are feeling it, but it's okay. It's okay because we got this. We got this. Do you guys have anything to say? Should we say what we had for breakfast? Yeah. I had two bagels for breakfast. Ooh. Mini bagels. For breakfast, I had a yogurt roll and then I had some toast with olive oil. I had oatmeal with banana. Boo. Tonight's going to be so good. Oh, hey. Hi. We have four and a half hours until the show. They're just running through the rest of the program now. They're probably going to give us notes in a little bit. We're having dinner. Having pasta. And she has a bowl. Play bowl. Yep. Meow. So we have an hour and 45 minutes before the show. We're warming up. Oh. Who's that? We got 40 minutes. I'm like out of focus. I am home and I'm having this um Rita's that my mom got because Today was the first day of spring so you could get a free Rita's. Yeah, the show went really good. It Honestly felt so good. I was feeling pretty nervous, but everything went Smoothly just had so much fun out there. We don't start too early tomorrow so I can get some sleep I don't actually feel that tired. I felt really tired in the beginning of the day like exhausted But I feel fine now and I felt energized on stage. So that's good. But I know I'll probably be feeling it tomorrow One down three to go Happy Saturday. Today is my t-shirt day. It is 8 a.m And I'm just getting ready. I think some of my sisters are gonna come watch my first show Soon on so that will be fun I just parked my car Plus in like 45 minutes, so I have a lot of time Yeah Hey guys We're setting up our quick change. The show is in like, what, 40 minutes? Hey vlog! Hello, hello! Yeah, we have like a two minute quick change from Garland to Vision. So, get to change backstage. It's pretty quick, but we did it in dress rehearsal, so I think we're gonna be okay. Hey guys, we just finished Vision. We made our quick change. These are our costumes. We have intermission and back into this. Thumbnail Vision! These are our Vision costumes. This is my favorite one, it's so pretty. We're about to have the awakening. We wake up together. And then the wedding happens with all the characters. So, this is my last thing that I have. So far, the show has been pretty good. I'm ready to wake up after 100 years of sleeping. Starring role right here. Do you want to show the vlog how you sleep? They took away my chair, so now I need a sleeping lesson on the floor. Dang, yeah, we don't even get a chair. Hey guys, so I just got back to my car. It is 9.43am. The show went pretty good. Yeah, it was a couple of days since we rehearsed Sleeping Beauty. Since we were focusing on Pteranodon and all that. I was a little nervous for that, but everything went well. I think our spacing was pretty good. Yeah, I'm just gonna go home, do all my stuff, get to bed as fast as I can. And then we have one more show tomorrow. Hey guys, happy Sunday. I'm about to eat some breakfast. Just made this like egg sandwich situation. And let Mocha in. Hey! You want to come in? We just finished. We're done! Awakening. And all the wedding is happening. But we're done. We did it. Now we have to pack up all our stuff. Here. Looks like a bomb went off in here. So we have to clean all of that up. And pack it. And go home. And sleep. And sleep and sleep. Oh my gosh, I'm gonna sleep so much. So I'm on my way home now. I'm in traffic right now. And it's really nice out today. And it's only 4 o'clock. And I'm already heading home. So I just got home. And I'm drinking Dr. Pepper and milk. Don't even ask. And unfortunately we lost power at our house. I don't know how or why. Because it's literally a perfect spring day outside. Maybe they're testing something. I don't even know. But I can't like shower and get clean. So that kind of sucks. This is really bad timing. Because we just want to like wash everything off and be clean. But it's okay. We have to wait until we get power. But I hope you guys enjoyed this video. I had so much fun performing Serenade and Sleeping Beauty. The good news is we have more Serenade shows next week at a different theater. And then we also have one more Sleeping Beauty show that we're doing at another theater.
