My name is Adam Sandoval and I travel the country with 2 goals, 1. Give back to our community and veterans. 2. Inspire people to live/enjoy the motorcycle culture.
Hey y'all welcome to today's video. Today I'm gonna take y'all on a pretty rad
ride. It's one of the best rides in all of America. It's called the Pig Trail and
I don't care where you look or whose list you're looking at, sooner or later
the Pig Trail is gonna pop up on the list. Today you and I are gonna take a
ride across the trail. It is a total of 19 miles long. It runs through the Boston
Mountains, the Ozark National Forest and it's also known for the Mulberry River
which runs along it. It's gonna be a gorgeous ride. Today I am NOT doing it
alone. Of course I have with me a veteran. Hi my name is Jeremy. I served in the
Army for six years and I'm staying at the Kay River Campground. Adam invited me
to come along with this ride and I'm just thankful to get the chance. As y'all
can see Jeremy also rides with the CVMA which I am very thankful for the CVMA.
That's genuine. Y'all have put me under your wing in many cities across this
country. How long you been riding with them? I started last October. I remember I got
my patch. You having fun? I love it. Today I am riding my 2017 Road Glide. It's
actually technically an Ultra but I've deleted the Tour Pack and I put the
Zero 3D bag extensions on the bottom. So with those two things done it kind of
looks like just a Road Glide special but it is truly an Ultra. I've also rocking
the Legend Rear Suspension. The Revo Arc Suspension. I really enjoy that when I
hit twisties like today. It really sets the bike in the course. Jeremy let's show
me your bike real quick because Jeremy's bike is pretty cool. Check it out.
Got about 2,500 miles on it right now. Only upgrades that aren't Harley is the
Zero 3D foot peg, bone mount and headlight as well.
The Vision X is a cool headlight. We rode in from my campground on the Kay River. One of the
things I love about the Pig Trail is it's just a short ride over from my
campground. So we banged up here. We are going to head from here to Eureka Springs
and visit the Cat House for their very wild party, the Spring Fling. So we're
starting the video off with you today here at Turner Bend which is just a
couple miles up from the southern tip of where the Pig Trail actually starts.
Let's take a look inside.
And I'm even gonna get my Pig Trail sticker. Let's put it on the bike. A lot
of people are against stickering their bikes. People used to criticize me when I
very first started doing this but since I toured to all the dealerships this has
been a tradition of mine on my motorcycles and when I ride a road for
the first time on that bike it gets a sticker. So one of the worst things is
when you get a sticker and it's a big square sticker like this that it doesn't
it's got to follow the picture. So I'm cutting it off. How many of you are like
me can't stand the big square? Now it'll fit.
Okay guys here we are. We are at the lookout. We are at the what are these
are the Boston Mountains right brother? Correct. And how's the riding been? It's
amazing. Love it. Good right? The roads are good condition. The corners are like you
know sometimes you get on some of these and they got such extreme at corners
they're like challenging to navigate and they give you something to like focus on
but they kind of take you out of the the flow of the ride. This these these curves
aren't so bad that you can't just sit back and relax. This is a relaxing ride
if you ask me but look at this. Boom. That is beautiful. How high you think we are
right now elevation wise? 1,400 feet. You think 1,400 feet? I think we can find out.
How can we find out? Let's see. I bet you that thing tells us the elevation for
sure. Yeah 1,500 feet. Get out of town. How do you like that? And I don't even know how to work my stereo. I think you
cheated. What a gorgeous spot to stop.
So that is it the Pig Trail in a whole. I thought I thought pretty good. Yeah it's
great. It is a good ride. So basically if I had to give the Pig Trail a rating I
think it's worthy of finding top 10 list but I think it's always gonna be at the
bottom of the top 10. I don't think it's a top 5 road. I don't think it's a top
7 road. It's top 9, 10, 12, 15 road I would say. Yeah take out the traffic. I think you would bump it up a little bit.
Either way the road conditions are pretty good. The curves are beautiful.
They're not too tight. Not too technical as we said earlier. All in all I think I
would give the road probably a 7 out of 10. That's my rating. I'd have to agree
with that. No I didn't see any gravel. Yeah. The one thing that I would worry
about after a rain would be a little bit of gravel. I didn't see any gravel at all. No gravel. It's a good road. It's
definitely worth going out and seeing if you're in the area. Like I enjoyed this
road. Here's a bold statement. I enjoyed this road more than the Tale of the
Dragon. I've never been to the Tale of the Dragon so I'm going to take your word for that. Well I'll tell you what you'll ride better
roads on the way to it than you will once you get on. Either way I hope you
all enjoyed taking a look at the Pig Trail with us today. Hanging out with us.
We are gonna head up to Eureka Springs. Check out the Cat House for the Spring
Fling and then back to the Cay River Campground for the Fast Life Garage
Party. Those boys always get wild. Jeremy's gonna be coming with me for the
entire way. Super stoked. We'll see y'all in tomorrow's video.
