Inside a LUXURY CRUISE in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam 🇻🇳

We are about to spend the next 24 hours in one of the most beautiful places in Vietnam, a place that I have been dreaming about, Ha Long Bay. Amazing. And we are taking off, saying bye to the harbor. Oh, wow. Dude, this looks nicer than the Ritz-Carlton. What the heck? We're down by the Jacuzzi now. We're going to go in for a swim. But look at this, guys. Look at this view. It is amazing. It's so beautiful. So right now, we're getting special access. You're taking us to the captain's room. Coming to Ha Long Bay, you can do a budget cruise, but luxury is truly where it's at. What's up, guys? Welcome back to another day here in Vietnam. Right now, we're in Hanoi, and it is pissing rain. We just woke up super early. It's pouring, man. I cannot believe it. We've gotten pretty lucky this entire trip. I felt like it was going to rain every day, but it hasn't. And today, well, we woke up to a rainy day here in Hanoi. And it's not the weather I was expecting because we're heading to Ha Long Bay. We're heading to Ha Long Bay. We got a three-hour drive. We're getting picked up in a van right now, and we're about to start this journey to a place I've been wanting to visit for so many years. So let's hope this weather clears up because we have a nice two-day, one-night cruise ahead of us, and I'd really like to enjoy that with some good weather. Anyways, the van is almost here, and we'll jump on in there and make our way over to Ha Long Bay. We're actually doing this cruise with a company called Vietnam Escape Tours. They plan tours throughout the entire country. But if you're coming here to Hanoi, they got amazing street food tours. I fell asleep most of the way. We had massaging chairs. The views were great when I finally decided to wake up. And I'm excited. I've always wanted to come on a Ha Long Bay cruise. This is going to be a good time. So they just handed us an itinerary. And check this out, guys. We're going to be boarding at 12.15. And at 12.30, they have a luxurious buffet. Then we visit a cave at 2.10. We hop off to visit another island at 4 o'clock. Then they have a happy hour. They have a cooking demonstration. A fine dining set menu on the fourth floor. And then on day two, they actually have yoga, light breakfast, kayaking. Man, a lot of activities. This is going to be a good time. I can see myself probably spending more than one night on here. So I might have to come back and do this again. We haven't even made it on the boat, and I'm saying that. So right now, we'll board here in about 30 minutes. And I look forward to it. Guys, there's a spa on board. Look at this wellness spa. They got body massages. Kind of expensive, but you're on a cruise, man. We're going to do one. $50 for 60 minutes. Body massage, hot stones, $60 for 60 minutes. It's basically a dollar a minute. Not terrible. You're on a five-star luxury cruise, man. You try doing this on a five-star luxury cruise anywhere else in the world. It's going to be a lot more expensive than that, my friends. And they also have a sauna. 45 minutes for 19 US dollars. You know what? I might actually do that. That might be the one that I do. Sauna with a steam session to detox, relax, and boost your circulation. Bro, I don't even think I need a boost anymore. I'm here. Look at this. Look at this, man. I want to jump on there so bad. But right now, we got a lunch buffet waiting for us. So let's put the shoes back on and let's go. But they got a lot of other options. I've seen pizza. Look at this view, man. No, this is amazing. Here they got fried rice, some beef. Oh, man, this looks nice. Octopus. Yeah, more pizza. And they even have a bar. How amazing is that? Oh, let's see what they got going on over here. Over here, there's more pizza. Oh, is this a vegetarian section? Wow, this is amazing. I might be vegetarian today. Let's see. I might convert. That looks really good. Anyways, this cruise is amazing. I cannot wait to spend the next 24 hours here. I'm about to go to town. Wow, this view is amazing from the dining hall, guys. I can see all the rock faces coming out from the distance. But unfortunately, it is a little foggy. I have to just come back here again sometime. But yeah, look at that. What a day. And this here is my selection. Let me show you guys what I got. I got chicken, beef, rice, some vegetarian bomb, vegetarian pizza. Man, so good. Wow, we're heading straight into the rock faces of Halong Bay. Okay, first bite of chicken was impressive. The rice is also really well done. Wow, 10 out of 10 so far, everything. Let's try this beef. It looks like it's gonna fall right off. That is crazy good. So delicious. I approve. This is gonna be an amazing experience. Wow, guys, look at this view. It is incredible. We just got done eating. It's still raining. But man, this place is so special. Look at all those rock faces. And yes, some of the boats that are out here right now are insane. That looks kind of like the one that we're on. But yeah, it is cold out here. It's cold standing out here. And they just came by and they took our reservations for dinner as well. It's a set menu, fine dining. I'm looking forward to that. But yeah, what a place. Look at that. So many smaller boats off into the distance. We're down by the jacuzzi now. We're gonna go in for a swim. But look at this, guys. Look at this view. It is amazing. It's so beautiful. Wow, it feels like a movie. Glad it says check in to make sure it's warm. Is it warm? It's nice, huh? Man, this is an unreal. We've been in so many five-star hotels that don't have heated pools. But the cruise in Halong Bay has a heated pool. I'm jumping in. Jumping in. We are inside of the pool. It's more like a jacuzzi. And this is awesome. How are you liking it? I love it. It's so good. The temperature is perfect. It's perfect, huh? And they actually said that it used to be a bar. But because it's UNESCO site, they've stopped allowing the construction of stable buildings, which is awesome. Because who wants to look at a bar when you're looking at these rocks? Nobody. And look at all these other formations popping up into the distance. This is awesome, man. Yeah, coming to Halong Bay, you can do a budget cruise. But luxury is truly where it's at. This is amazing, man. What an experience. Look at all the cruise ships pulling in to this harbor where we're heading to right now to explore a cave. It's pretty awesome. And to be honest, I like the rain. I think it adds a nice special touch. But this is cool. Thank you so much. What is the name of this cave? Sun Sok. Sun Sok cave. Thank you. Okay, thank you. So now we're heading to Sun Sok cave. Man, this is gonna be a good time to be honest with you. We just got done swimming inside of the jacuzzi. And I believe now we're gonna jump into the smaller boat and take it over in that direction. Somewhere along here where I see all the other boats docked up. But yeah, this is gonna be a nice little excursion. It is raining quite hard though. The rain had stopped for a minute. But now it's back to pouring, man. Yeah, weather's not the best. But like I said, you gotta make do with what you got, right? You're not gonna not come to Halong Bay because it's raining when you're here in Vietnam. No way. So yeah, we're gonna make our way to somewhere. I'm not sure exactly where. But there's a lot of boats propped up everywhere. Beautiful place, man. This is literally a dream come true. It's so nice. All right, time to get onto the boat and head to this cave. He said that there's not gonna be no rain because we're gonna go in a cave. So that makes perfect sense. And yeah, this little boat is nice. I like it. Yep, you gotta watch your step. Catherine 01. Hello. Oh man, this is nice, huh? To be honest, I wouldn't mind even a cruise on this little boat. This is cool. I'm excited for the cave. It looks awesome. We just saw it on Google. We haven't gone to a cave since Rio Segreto in Mexico. Was that before? No, we went to one in Thailand afterwards too. Oh yeah, we went to one close to James Bond Island. Close to James Bond Island. I don't think it's... It's not this cool, huh? Yeah. This one looks awesome. This one looks more like Rio Segreto in Mexico. I read it's the biggest cave here. Vladis is the queen of doing research. I am the king of nuts. 12,000 square meters. Wow, that's huge. It's the biggest and most popular limestone cave in Tamaulipas. Crazy, I'm excited. When they say life jackets on, I don't know. Maybe I'll stay. No, I'm just saying. All right, safety first. Safety first. To be fair, I like jumping into water with a life jacket because I don't got to do nothing. I just float there. It's awesome. Oh, look at this windshield wiper. I like that. And first of all, I want to share a little bit of information about this bay. So this bay is named Ha Long Bay. And Ha Long Bay is one of Vietnam's most famous place for natural wonders. And Ha Long Bay has nearly 2,000 limestone and limestone islands in this bay and for more than 10 million years. And Ha Long Bay was recognized twice by UNESCO in 1904 and 2000 for World Natural Heritage and for the beauty and the nature. So Ha Long Bay isn't a popular destination to travel. It's also in the way of our. And now we arrive to the Sunset. So Sunset Cave was recognized in 1901 by France. And when she found the cave, she was amazed of the beauty and how big of the cave it is. So that's why she named it in French. So the name in French is the Sunset Cave. In English, you can call it the Cave of the Sunset or the Sunset Cave. Or in Vietnamese, we name it the Sunset Cave. And inside this cave, we have three chambers. Three chambers. The first chamber is for this one. The second one is five times bigger than the first one. And the third one is going to be the biggest one. This is going to be an adventure. Yes. All right. And we have made it. Man, it's pouring. Kieran and Silky are not going. They're going without an umbrella, man. You don't want to carry it on. You can't be bothered. Oh, man. You know what? I don't know how I feel. Whoa. Hey, with the umbrella, it's kind of brutal. We made it to the sun deck area and up here they have a cafe bar. Look, they even have a place for your kids to play, which is really cool. And they got a mini golf outside. Dang, that's awesome. But yeah, like super cozy up here. If it was dry, I'd actually sit on the sun deck. They got plenty of places to lounge around and the bar. Man, such a beautiful boat. Look at that. And the weather is nice, too. You know, it could be sunny, but you got to take what you get. And I'm happy with it. It's nice. I'm just glad we didn't go on a hike. You know what it is, guys? Is I hurt my neck. And man, holding the umbrella up when the wind snatched it from me, I felt like some pain in my neck. And I was just like, you know what? This is going to be it could be dangerous. It's not worth going up. And there was a lot of people on our boat on the way back, huh? About half their boat didn't do it. Crazy. Also, the boat, it's too good that you feel like you want to enjoy it. You don't want to leave. Yeah, but it's OK. There's a couple other excursions, like a beach swim. But I think we'll just chill on the boat tonight and enjoy the fine dining. Look at this. Cocktails, mocktails, beer, soft drinks. I think I'm going with a Vietnamese coconut coffee. No, I'm just kidding. I'm going to get something, though. What are you going to get? They have egg coffee. They don't. They don't have cafe trung. I can go make it. They got a bunch of different snacks up here. What is this, an omelet? Man, that looks nice. Fruit snacks. So yeah, dinner takes place in about an hour. But they have like this little setup up here where you can order happy hour drinks, buy two, get one free. Yeah, nice setup. I like it. And now we got a beautiful mushroom soup that smells amazing. And for the vegetarian options, check this out, guys. They give you pumpkin soup. He's doing that salt bae action. Oh yeah, this looks good. This here is a mountain jelly with shrimp sauce, or shrimp flask salad. Looks amazing. And now we have this beautiful stuffed lobster. Look at that, guys. I just saw these little buddies swimming a few hours ago. So sad. And here's the main course, guys. We got mashed potatoes with veggies, steak, and a little piece of gold on there. Good morning. Today we woke up in Halong Bay to this incredible view. Look at how beautiful the bay is this morning. It is chilly, though. It's very cold this morning. I actually had a kayaking excursion, but we missed it. It was at 6 a.m. and it was really cold at that time. Well, for us, we've been in Asia for about almost three months now. So we missed out on that. Just decided to relax, take it easy, to be honest. And that's what this cruise is all about, man. Relaxing, taking some time for yourself. So that's what we did. It was really enjoyable, actually. The bed was really cozy, nice. And yeah, this view, it's amazing. So we just got done having a cup of coffee. They had a nice breakfast buffet this morning. And in about two hours time, they have a brunch that I guess we have basically until we get back to the port where we're going to get off the boats. But yeah, what an amazing experience. This is seriously one of those tours you have to do when in the country. It is something special. So beautiful. Oh, there's the Catherine cruise right now that's coming back from the kayaking excursion right there. We've had an amazing time on the cruise. Unfortunately, I didn't make the kayaking trip this morning. To be honest with you guys, man, we really just wanted to relax. But I also got some really bad news that one of my friends that I served with in the military passed away. And, you know, that's never a news you want to wake up to. But there's things that happen in life. But let me just tell you guys, man, this here is a once in a lifetime experience. And you have to do it. Look at this view. Look at this amazing harbor. This morning they had a beautiful breakfast buffet. They actually had a kayaking excursion. And right now they're about to have a brunch buffet before we even get off the boat. But this is, man, it's truly amazing. Look at this. It's so beautiful. These rock faces are just incredible. And then, yeah, there's all kinds of other little boats and tours out in the harbor. Yep, that is a good coffee. I love that. Made it back from the cruise. And unfortunately, man, I've just been exhausted. Today was one of those days where you receive some bad news about a friend or a family member passing. And, you know, it's kind of hard to continue on with your day like normal after that situation. But right now, I'm back in Hanoi. They're actually setting up a night market that takes place Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. It's actually really cool. I saw it like two nights ago before actually heading to Ha Long Bay. And they got a bunch of, man, souvenirs, knockoffs, toys, things like that. But it's a pretty cool atmosphere. It comes to life in about 7 p.m. So in about an hour from the time that it is right now. But yeah, man, I'm smoked. That bad news kind of took all the energy away from me that I had. But let me just tell you guys, if you're looking for an incredible time in Hanoi, you got to go to Ha Long Bay. You got to go out there, enjoy a cruise. They actually do, the cruise that we were on, they actually do two-day, three-day, and a four-day cruise. And I can imagine that, man, it's even more relaxing and even more special the longer you stay on. So I recommend doing several days if you do get the chance and if you have time. But for now, guys, I'm going to call it a night. I'm tired. That kind of news kind of sucks. And I mean, it really sucks.
