HOLY ORANGE LIGHTS!!

So remember in the last video how I said I ordered a box of 220 feet of lights? There they are. Here's the lights. Phillips LED lights. So hopefully that'll be cool. What? Yeah, that's for you too. There's some doggy Halloween costumes in there, which we already played with a little bit and then I got these cool icicle spider lights. See what they look like in the box. I'm waiting for Jamie to get back home from his friend's house and then supposedly we're gonna put Halloween stuff up outside because it's supposed to get really really cold here like tomorrow It's only supposed to be 48 which is cold Which I like but it's kind of hurts your hands when you're trying to put lights in the house So I guess we're gonna do some of it today, maybe. Let's see. What are you doing out here? And Miss Shelby, there's little Miss Oakley way back there. This is part two of the Halloween lights. When Jamie got home that day It was really dark and we were both tired so we didn't do lights yet. So we're gonna do lights. We're gonna put up lights. What do you think? We're gonna start back here. We're gonna go all the way around the house. Look at this pretty tree. Probably my favorite tree. My neighbor's got a pretty tree. Mine haven't really changed yet, but everybody's around us has just not in our yard. Wanna help put up lights? All right, climb up that scary ladder over there and put some lights up. Hop to. Oh yeah, they're LED lights. So they flicker on camera? LED lights go all funny on the camera. They're all flickery. Look Oakley lights. Those are my gloves cuz it's cold. Don't eat my gloves. We got flickery LED lights. And Mr. Muscleman Jamie over there is gonna screw all them screws in. Not a fun job. Don't eat the lights Oakley. I got to test more lights. I think eventually Santa needs to bring Jamie a new ladder. Yeah, I think that one's kind of crickety hun. Scary stuff. Okay, more lights. Oakley, more lights. What are you doing? See my job is to plug the lights in. And make sure they actually work. Before handing them to Jamie for him to hang up. Because it really sucks when I hand him lights and they don't work. So even though they're brand new, you have to test them anyway. Jamie found a screw hook that doesn't have a screw. It's just flat. That's supposed to be threaded like a screw and instead it's just flat. That one must have missed the machine. Actually, I have more jobs just than the light tester. I have to make sure Jamie gets the lights. So we got to play the swinging game and go. Got it? Otherwise, he can't reach him. He's doing the high part of the house now. This is the part that makes me nervous. Not that he would fall very far, but I don't think it would be very soft. I gotta go get more lights. We got the spider icicle lights up. I only bought one strand of those and it's perfect length for that window. Yay! It's getting colder outside. Which means I had to put my hood on with my gloves. It's getting colder and darker as we speak. I have to show you my little painted pumpkins. My grandpa actually made those. My mom gave them to me when they bought my grandma and grandpa's house. They were in the garage and my mom gave them to me. Well, these days I have to go through and do a little touch-up to them, but I put them out to remember grandma and grandpa. This sign I got a couple years ago at Walmart. I think it's pretty fitting. What do you think? It's got a little fake bite marks in it. Yeah, pretty fitting. There's all the empty boxes. All the empty boxes. Last strand of lights. It has to go from there to there. We should make it. I think we estimated just right. I had to buy nine boxes of lights. Hopefully we'll make it. Your jacket matches the tree behind you. Yeah, me too. Check that out. Made it all the way around the house. That's cool. I was worried that we weren't gonna make it, but we made it. Yeah, I was worried as he was coming around. I'm like, I've only got two boxes of lights left. But we made it. Pretty cool. I should have bought some spider icicle lights for back here, too. Yeah, I got an end of a plug right here. Maybe I'll have to order some. I see you through the window. Look at all the canned goods my mom bought me. They had the canned goods sale at the grocery store the other day and my mom bought me all this stuff. She didn't have to, but she did. I got tomatoes and potatoes and mandarin oranges and mushrooms and green beans. Thanks, mom. Say, thanks mom. What? I know you guys are ready for dinner. Give me a minute. My hands are cold from being outside. Give me a minute. I'll make you dinner. No, it's kind of dark, but I have to show you this. I didn't feel good earlier. I had a headache and left this pillow on the couch. Somebody thinks it's her pillow because this is like the fourth time I found her here. It's not your pillow Shelby. It's my pillow. I guess you can borrow it for a little bit. Oh, oh, you're gonna give it up now? Thanks. Thanks, Shelby. Aw, don't make that fall. All right, we got some more stuff out, but I think we're done for the day. My little candle holders from Joann Fabrics. Collected a few of those over the year. I think I got that thing from Walmart or Kmart. There's a hay bale from last year. See, it's got grass growing on it. Jamie's got to trim it. Got a skeleton hanging on the door. Got my little wreath in the door. Got my spider hanging. I think we're done for today. Yay! This I got on clearance last year at Walmart. I like clearance stuff. We're slowly digging out our Halloween stuff. I actually just ordered 220 feet of lights for the outside of the house because we go all out for... For Halloween like most people do for Christmas.
