Hi boys and girls and welcome back to Graceville where God's love is everywhere. It's me
Pastor Anastasia and I'm so super duper excited that you join me today as we learn more about our
best friend Jesus. Today's special feature comes to us all the way from Tanzania
where my friends Noreen and Nawifa have prepared a beautiful song just for us. Let's listen in.
Help my unbelief, I choose to trust you. No matter what I feel, let faith arise,
let faith arise. For my champion's not dead, he is alive. Oh, and he ready knows my every need.
And surely he will come and rescue me. God of miracles come, we need your supernatural love
to break through nothing's impossible. You're the God of miracles, God of miracles.
Thanks guys, that was awesome. Boys and girls, remember if you want to share your gifts and
talents for Jesus, please ask your parents or guardians to inbox me and I'd be happy to share
it with our friends. Hey, there you are. I was just on my way to nature time. I can't wait to
find out what Ryan has for us today. It's always something amazing and super cool. So let's join
him. Hello boys and girls and welcome again to nature time at Graceville. Today we're going to
be talking about some creatures that take care of their environment. Let's tune in. Bats help control
insects. They can eat over 1,000 in an hour. This stops pests from destroying important crops.
Llamas protect animals that they form friendships with. They are often kept with sheep and other
farm animals to keep predators out. Now beavers make dams that create ponds. These help to prevent
fires by keeping the soil around them damp and green vegetation well watered. Elephants help
their habitats during droughts by digging up plants to find water. They also help spread seeds which
are found in their poop. And lastly, we have the bees that are very important pollinators. In fact,
many foods that we eat are because of these busy creatures. Mark 16 verse 15 says, He said to them,
Go out into the world and preach the gospel to all creation. We can do our part in the world
by simply sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with them. Bye boys and girls. Thanks for tuning
in. See you next time. Now that was interesting. Well, I wonder what Melissa's week was like.
Let's check in on her. Let's go. Hey Pastor Anastasia. Who knew that being class president
would be so much work. I bet you have a lot to do. I sure do. I never thought that I'd have
to be managing the money we collected. Now I'm being pressured into spending it into candy and
popsicles, but I believe it would be best if we helped our school purchase more laptops.
That's what we really need. Great idea Melissa. God wants us to wisely use everything He's
blessed us with. That includes making good spending choices. Wait a minute. That reminds
me of our theme for this week, which simply says, Be a faithful steward. Let me hear my friend from
India say it. Be a faithful steward. And our memory verse is found in 1 Corinthians 4 too.
And it simply says it is required of stewards that they be found trustworthy.
Let me hear my friend Bella say it. It is required of stewards that they be found trustworthy.
Great job everyone.
Wait, what is a steward? A steward is someone who manages or takes care of the money or
possessions of others. Just like you Melissa. That's why today's story is about a man who was
such a faithful steward of Pharaoh's food supply that he even saved Egypt from famine.
Can you guess what today's story is about? Hmm, a man who was a steward of Pharaoh's food supply.
Let me think. It's probably Joseph. That's right, Ileana. Today's story is about Joseph.
One night, Pharaoh had a strange dream that really troubled him. He became frustrated
because no one could tell him its meaning until his butler remembered a fellow prisoner named
Joseph. He was brought out of prison to interpret Pharaoh's dream. With God's help,
Joseph explained the dream. Egypt would experience seven years of plenty followed by seven years of
famine. So he advised Pharaoh to save during the good years so that they would have enough
to survive the famine. Pleased with Joseph's advice, Pharaoh invited him to manage Egypt's
food supply and made him a great leader. Egypt and many others survived because Joseph was a
faithful steward. Wowzers! If only I could be wise and faithful like Joseph. Now that's the kind of
leader I want to be. You sure can, Melissa. As we lean on God, he will give us all the wisdom we need
to be faithful stewards.
