Hi boys and girls and welcome back to Graceville where God's love is everywhere. It's me
Pastor Anastasia and I'm so super duper excited that you join me today as we learn more about our
best friend Jesus. Today's special feature comes to us all the way from Puerto Rico
where my friend Nathan has prepared a beautiful piano selection just for us. Let's listen in.
So
that was awesome. Boys and girls remember if you want to share your gifts and talents for Jesus
please ask your parents or guardians to inbox me and I'd be happy to share with our friends.
Hey you're back and we're just in time for nature time. I am always so excited to find out who or
what we'll be running into today. So I wonder what our friend Ryan has in store for us. Let's go.
Hello boys and girls and welcome again to nature time at Graceville. Today I'm going to be talking
to you guys about lizards. Let's tune in. Lizards are reptiles. Sources say there are over 5,000
species of lizards. Some are very big like the Komodo dragon and some are very small like the
gecko. Some have four legs two or none at all. I found this little fella in Florida when I was
seven. He looks like a skink but I'm not too sure. But skinks spend most of their lives on the ground
around leaves and dead logs. But they will climb up surfaces to find food or even enter your house.
But don't kill them. Catch them and return them to their habitat. In Revelation 7 verse 9 it says
after these things I looked and behold a great multitude which no one could number.
All of its nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues standing before the throne and before the lamb
clothed in white robes with palm branches in their hands. Let's try not to be like everyone else
but pray to be like Jesus. Let's celebrate true diversity.
It's a gift from our creator. Bye boys and girls. Thanks for tuning in. See you next time.
We're back. Just in time to check in on Melissa. I wonder how her weekend. Well let's find out.
Hey Pastor Anastasia. I have a tough decision to make. Really? What's going on? There's this
really cool kid in my class who everyone loves to hang out with but I'm not so sure. How come?
He likes to do dangerous stunts and pranks and he wants me to join in. I don't want to do it
but I don't want to be left out either. What do I do? Oh Melissa. Making the right choice
isn't always popular. Thankfully when we turn to God in prayer he gives us the courage to make the
right decision every time. Wait a minute. That reminds me of our theme for this week which
simply says make godly choices. Let me hear my little friend say it. Make godly choices.
And our memory verse is found in Psalm 32 verse 8 and it simply says I will instruct you and
teach you in the way you should go. Let me hear my little friend say it. Description reading is
I will instruct you in the way you should go. Psalm 32 verse 8. Great job everyone.
Wait so with God's help I don't have to just go along with it? Absolutely not. God can
and will make you the leader and not the follower. That's why today's story is about a man who risked
everything to continue praying even being thrown into the lion's den. Can you guess what today's
story is about? Now who in the world could that be? A lion's den? Could it be? Yes. It's Daniel.
That's right my little friend. Today's story is about Daniel in the lion's den.
From he was a little boy Daniel was always known for doing what was right.
But making the right decision wasn't always easy. Everyone knew that Daniel loved to pray to his
God three times a day. Unfortunately there were some wicked men who hated Daniel and wanted to
get rid of him. So they convinced the king to make a new rule that no one could pray to any other
God or person except him for 30 days. It seemed like a good idea to the king so he made it a law that
could not be changed. Bravely Daniel chose to go against what everyone else was doing and continued
praying. When they found out he was thrown into the lion's den.
But Daniel wasn't afraid. Courageously he chose to stand up for the right.
God honored Daniel's faithfulness and rescued him from the lion's den.
Wowzers! Daniel was so brave. He literally chose to be thrown into the lion's den
over following the crowd just to do what was right. He sure did Melissa. And with God's help
we never have to yield to peer pressure. He'll give us the courage to make godly choices.
