Hi boys and girls and welcome back to Graceful where God's love is everywhere. It's me
Pastor Anastasia and I'm so super duper excited that you've joined me today as we learn more
about our best friend Jesus. Today's special feature comes to us all the way from the Marshall
Islands where my friend Norbin and Vince have prepared a beautiful song just for us. Let's
listen in. Thanks guys that was amazing. Boys and girls remember if you want to share your gifts
and talents for Jesus please ask your parents or guardians to inbox me and I'd be happy to share
with our friends. It's nature time and I can't wait to find out what our friend Ryan from Canada
has for us today. It's always such a treat. I always wonder who or what we're going to meet.
I can't wait to find out so come along with me. Hello boys and girls and welcome again to nature
time at Graceville. Today we're going to be talking about camping. Let's tune in. Camping is a great
way to get away from our daily routines and connect with God and nature. There are different types of
camps like family camps and tents or trailers or organized camps where we share cabins and take
part in outdoor activities together. I spent a week at camp and I shared a room with new friends.
There were many activities to choose from like water skiing, sailing, and art to name a few.
I chose mountain biking, kayaking, snorkeling, and horsemanship. I even had time to explore
and I found a mole and lots of frogs. When we go to youth camp we leave our homes and enter the
outdoor space with its beautiful sceneries. Our parents are around for us to lean on and there
isn't any technology. Yet the experience can make us stronger and more disciplined and independent.
One day I called my parents and told them that I couldn't wait to come home. My mom replied,
well son when we picked you up last year you couldn't wait to return the following year.
But I told my mom that while camping was great it was time to come home.
Hebrews 13 14 says, your honor we do not have a city that will last forever but we are looking
for the city we will have in the future. Boys and girls nothing lasts forever but just remember
that we have a heavenly home and it's going to be our forever home and it's going to be amazing.
Bye boys and girls thanks for tuning in see you next time.
Hey guys let's check in on Nico one more time before he leaves for his mission trip.
Let's go. Hey Pastor Stacia I finished packing and I'm ready to go. Wow I can't believe this day has
finally come. I know right. Now I've realized that everything here at Graceville that I've learned
has just helped me make a big step. Oh that's what being a disciple is all about. Learning,
growing and sharing the good news of God's love with others in service. And I just love the way
he always sends someone to help us along the way. Wait a minute that reminds me of our theme for
this week which simply says keep serving God. Let me hear my little friend say it. Keep serving
God. And our memory verse is found in Matthew 28 19 and it simply says go and make disciples of
all nations. Let me hear my little friend Melissa say it. Therefore go and make disciples of all
nations Matthew 28 11. Great job everyone. Even though we're happy that you're going to be a
missionary we sure will miss you Nico. I understand but you won't be alone. My good friend Melissa
will be here to help. Hi guys. Glad you're here Melissa. It's so good to know that even as Nico
leaves God has already brought someone to continue his ministry. That's why today's story is about
someone who willingly accepted God's call to continue the work of the prophet Elijah. Can
you guess who today's story is about? Who was it that continued prophet Elijah's work?
Oh I know it's Elisha. That's right my little friends today's story is about Elisha.
Elisha and Elijah served God together for many years performing miracles teaching and leading
people to God. They were a great team but God had other plans for Elijah and revealed that his
ministry would soon come to an end. Instead of getting upset Elijah chose to obey God's
instructions faithfully. He worked even harder to prepare Elisha to take his place. Elisha remained
close to the prophet's side not wanting to miss the blessing he was promised. Then it happened
one day out of nowhere a chariot of fire appeared and whisked Elijah away to heaven.
Elisha watched. He noticed something. He saw Elisha's mantle fall from the sky.
As he caught it the Holy Spirit's power filled him. He was ready to continue serving God.
Whoa what an amazing story. It reminds me about how I am leaving and Melissa's coming. That's
right just like Elisha we should be ready and willing to accept God's call.
Bye Miko thanks and we love you. We love you.
