As Niko prepares for his mission trip, Pastor Anastacia reminds us that no matter where we go, we must stay connected to Jesus! This week on nature time, Ryan and his friend share with us animals who are given new homes when they are hurt or lost. This week's story is taken from John 15.

Girls and welcome back to Graceville where God's love is everywhere. It's me
Pastor Anastasia and I'm so super duper excited that you've joined me today as we learn more about
our best friend Jesus. Today's special feature comes to us all the way from Canada
where my friend Samuel has prepared a beautiful song just for us. Let's listen in.
Sing the wondrous love of Jesus. Sing his message and his grace. In the mansion bright and pleasant
to prepare for us a place when we all get to heaven. What a day of rejoicing that
when we all see Jesus we will sing and shout the victory. That was awesome! Boys and girls
remember if you want to share your gifts and talents for Jesus please ask your parents or
guardians to inbox me and I'd be happy to share with our friends. Hey you caught me! I was on my
way to nature time. I can't wait to find out who or what we'll be learning about today. It's always
such a treat when our friend Ryan from Canada shares with us. So you want to learn some more
come along with me. Hello boys and girls and welcome again to nature time at Graceville.
Today we're in a wildlife rescue center to see how they take care of wildlife. Let's tune in.
My dad took my friend Alex and I to an animal rehabilitation center in Ontario.
It's a place where injured abused or abandoned animals are cared for.
The staff and volunteers take good care of these animals then release them into the wild. However
some animals like this Canadian lynx cub could not be released because they were born in captivity
to a very ill mother who could not teach him how to survive in the wild. Here's an injured morning
dove that we found in the middle of the road that could not fly. We were happy to find a special
rehabilitation center that accepted it. But boys and girls we need to be very careful when rescuing
any wild animal or bird. They could be carrying diseases or just be dangerous. Always tell an
adult and if you decide to rescue carefully pick up the animal using a towel never touching it.
Finally contact an animal rehabilitation center near you. Psalm chapter 31 verse 20 says you protect
them by your presence from what people plan against them. You keep them safe in your shelter
from evil words. There's so many more things to learn about sanctuaries so how about you guys
do more research and share what you find with your friends and families. Bye boys and girls
thanks for tuning in see you next time. We're back just in time to check in on Nico. I wonder what
he's up to today. Let's find out. Hey Pastor Eustacia great news we raised all the money and now all
that's left is packing for the mission trip. Awesome you must be so excited. I am but my family's so
active at church I feel like everything will fall apart when I'm not here. It's great the way you
guys are super involved but remember it's not about you or me it's all about God. Once we remain
connected to Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit we'll discover that he is all we need. Wait
a minute that reminds me of our theme for this week which simply says it's all about Jesus. Let
me hear my friend say it. All about Jesus. And our memory verse is found in John 15 verse 5 and it simply says
I am the vine you are the branches whoever abides in me and I in him will bear much fruit. Let me
hear my friend Hannah in New York say it. I am you are the branches whoever will bear much more fruit. John 15 verse 5. Great job everyone.
I think I get it our church will be fine once we focus on Jesus. Now you get it it's all about
Jesus. We shine brightest and best when we center our lives on him. That's why today's story is about
someone who taught us this very important lesson using a parable about vines and branches. Can you
guess who today's story is about? A vine? Branches? Who could that be? Jesus! That's right Michaela and Sophia today's story is about Jesus.
Jesus often told stories called parables to teach his followers about God's plan for their lives.
Quietly they listened as Jesus shared. I'm the vine and you are the branches. Anyone who remains
in me will bear much fruit. Anyone who does not stay in the vine will not bear fruit. They will be
cut off and thrown into the fire. Since they all knew about gardening Jesus used this example to
teach us the importance of remaining connected to him in order to serve faithfully, lead others
to know him and grow spiritually. When our desire is to put God first we bear good fruit as he
blesses us abundantly. Whoa I see how important it is for us all to stay close to Jesus. You get it
it's easy to stay close to him when we remember that it's all about Jesus.
