Hello everyone, so today we're going to Guatemala and El Salvador for the next 25 days.
I'm visiting the country with both the tourism boards, Tourism Inguat which is the Guatemala
tourism board and also the El Salvador tourism board. I'm going to be 12 days,
I'm crossing the border and then another 12 days there, so in total 24 nights.
Okay, now it's time to drive. Miami is raining like crazy. Let's get out of here.
All right, so Guatemala, here we go. I just want to give a shout out to Scotty Best Clothing,
the best clothing outlet for traveling. All right people, so we landed in Guatemala.
We are now headed into immigration, so Inguat, the tourism board should be waiting for me right
outside. Once we get in the car, we're going straight to the city and to explore the city
for the day. And then tomorrow morning we are off to a lake which is west of here. I have the name,
the names are very difficult because they're from the Mayan culture. It's very, very different.
There's about 15 different dialects here of Mayan languages in the country. All right, let's do it.
So Laura is my guide for just today, no? Until the 17th. Until the 17th. Okay,
so pretty much most of the trip. Yeah. Okay, okay, great. Laura, say hi to the camera,
say hi to everybody. Welcome to Guatemala again. This is how she found me, Magazine David's been
here. It's travel company. All right, let's go to the city. All right, so we just made
to the first restaurant here in Guatemala City. It's called Cacao. And right now I'm trying
Cayo, which is the traditional beer of Guatemala, Guatemalteco. All right, so this is some good
beer. Very light, very refreshing. So Cacao is, it's a traditional restaurant. They have all
traditional Guatemalteco, so Guatemalan cuisine. So get ready, we're going to try some food. I'm
going to show you as soon as it gets here. Let's go. Okay, so we're about to try two entradas,
so appetizers. And what are they, Laura? This is called chile relleno. The other ones that we have
right there is chuchito. It's made out of corn masa. These are the lights of Guatemala cuisine.
Oh my God, it looks fantastic. I can't wait to have it. And what's in here?
A tortilla, right? So this is like a corn tortilla. This is our Maya dress. You can have half of this,
you put it in your tortilla, and you made a taco. Oh, let's do it. All right, so I'm about to eat
el pepian. I don't even know what's in this. It's like a amazing soup. And right now he's opening,
so it's it's mashed corn. Okay, okay. It's a hot, it's a hot dish. Obviously it's green pepper.
Should obviously be hot. This is fantastic.
