Back to Graceville where God's love is everywhere. It's me, Pastor Anastasia and I'm so super duper
excited that you've joined me today as we learn more about our best friend Jesus.
Today's special feature comes to us from right here in the United States where my friend Marianette
has prepared a beautiful song just for us. Let's listen in.
Seek and purge the kingdom of God, and these things shall be added unto you.
Seek and purge the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and these things shall be added unto you.
Amazing! Boys and girls, remember if you want to share your gifts and talents for Jesus,
please ask your parents or guardians to inbox me and I'd be happy to share it with our friends.
Oh, you know that sound everybody. It's nature time and I can't wait to find out who or what
we're learning about today. I have a clue for us. I heard it's something that flies.
Well, come along with me. Hello boys and girls and welcome again to nature time at Graceville.
Today we're going to be talking about ducks. Ducks are birds who live near the water. Their
feathers are waterproof. When they dive into water, the downy feathers closest to their skin stay dry.
They are omnivores, which means they will eat grass, aquatic plants, insects, etc. Perhaps the
interesting fact about ducks is that they are social beings. They enjoy being with other ducks.
It's interesting because I'm like that too, and perhaps you are as well.
Hebrews 10 verse 24 and 25 says, And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward
love and good deeds, not giving up meeting each other, as some are in the habit of doing.
But encouraging one another and all the more as you see the day approaching. In many countries,
we aren't allowed to gather in large groups. So let's find other ways to encourage each other.
Thanks for tuning in. See you next time. I wonder what Nico's up to. Let's find out.
Nico, why are you in the dark? Sorry, I was just hiding somewhere. Why would you do that?
I think I'm in a lot of trouble because I was kind of disobedient. My parents asked me to do
some chores, but I was just too tired and didn't feel like it. Now I think that they're really mad
at me. Oh, Nico, hiding isn't going to solve anything. Even though you've messed up,
your parents still love you. It's comforting to know that God is so gracious and forgiving
that even when we've done wrong, he never turns his back on us. Wait a minute. That reminds me
of our theme for this week, which simply says, we are saved by grace. Let me hear my little
friend in the Bahamas say it. We are saved by grace. And our memory verse is found in Ephesians
2 verse 8. And it simply says, for by grace, you've been saved through faith. Let me hear
my little friend in India say it. For by grace, you have been saved through faith, Ephesians 8.
Great job, everyone. I think I get it. Instead of hiding, I should be thankful that my parents
helped step in to help with my chores, just like God does for us. Exactly. Because of God's
unconditional love, even when we sin, his grace covers us. That's why today's story is about a
man and a woman who hid in a garden from God after they didn't follow his instructions.
Can you guess what today's story is about? What were the clues again? A garden? Man and woman?
A bad decision? Hmm. It must be Adam and Eve. That's right, D'Andre. Today's story is about
Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve had a perfect life in their home, the Garden of Eden. They enjoyed
spending time with God. He had only one rule for them. They could eat of every tree in the garden
except one, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. God warned, the day you eat of this tree,
you will surely die. Everything was going well until...
One day, Eve met a deceitful talking snake called Satan. He convinced her to eat the forbidden
fruit. Later, she shared it with her husband, Adam. Suddenly, they realized that they had made
a horrible mistake. Feeling guilty and ashamed, they decided to hide from God. Little did they
know, God already knew everything. Even though Adam and Eve were disobedient, God put a plan
of salvation in place to show them mercy and grace. Whoa! It's so amazing how God made a plan
That's right! Praise God! We are saved by grace through faith in Him.
