Archero Rail Roller Bowstring Serving Systems

Hey everybody, this is PJ Reilly from Lancaster Archery
here at the ATA Show 2025 in Indianapolis,
and I am here at a First Timers booth.
This is Archero, and I'm here with Asaf and Nir,
and one of the big hits at the show this year
is what we have here, the Rail Roller,
which is a system that allows you to do serving
and build strings, all that, for bows,
recurves, compound, crossbows, whatever.
So Asaf, let's talk about the parts that we have here
and what this system can do.
Yeah, sure.
So first, thanks TJ and the Lancaster team.
Really appreciate you coming over.
So essentially what we have here in the Rail Roller,
I'll start with the spool holder or the jig itself.
What's unique about it is that the pressure
is being made on the serving side
and not on the spool itself.
You can also define the tension in those two knobs,
and that's something that we received
an amazing feedback on.
So what you're saying there for folks
who are familiar with serving jigs like this,
normally you set the tension here at the spool,
and then that can cause consistency issues,
but if you're doing it from there,
then if this comes loose, it doesn't matter.
Exactly, exactly.
So now the jig can sit either on the cart
and it can magnet to it.
Now in terms of the serving options,
you can choose between the arm to the cart,
and in both options you can use either the manual crank
or an electric drill.
So at least here in the case of the arm,
usually it will be used for this type of serving.
Center serving.
Yeah, center serving,
and when I start using the manual crank,
essentially it will do the serving for me
in a super consistent way,
and the tension is very, very hard.
Now we can go over to the cart, so yeah.
So when he was cranking that,
obviously both ends were spinning,
so we're not messing with the twists in the string,
it's twisting uniformly
just to put the serving on the string.
Exactly, exactly.
So you don't need to touch either the spool holder
or the jig or the string,
and it wraps in a very consistent way,
and yeah, it's been wrapped in a maximum way
that it's more consistent.
So that's with the arm and the manual crank.
Now we go to the roller and using a drill.
Sure, so what Nir is now showcasing
is using the electric drill,
and once he'll start drilling,
the cart will automatically move on the string,
as you can see, in a very, very fast way.
Now, yeah.
Serving over, but that's okay.
Yeah, we're serving over,
but still you can see how tight and neat it is.
Super fast, super unique,
like sticks for itself.
Now you can touch and see, TJ,
how good it is and how consistent it is.
That's, I mean, those are super tight loops there, wraps.
It's not, I'm not able to move it.
Yeah, exactly.
So you can use a spool of both crossbow and bows.
Now, this is the first version
that you might like using for a crossbow,
but we have it also on longer,
like 108 inch as well for compound bows.
For some of the longer strings,
you would just have longer tubes.
So this is longer.
This is the crossbow string, so it's narrow,
but for regular bows, you can just have longer tubes.
Yeah, exactly.
That's it, and we do all manufacturing,
our design, all the components here,
materials are super high grade.
Yeah, coating, aluminum with hard anodizing coating,
and this is Delorean.
It's a machined Delorean.
It's not a mold, so everything is very precise
and high quality.
That's what I was gonna say, super light with,
for folks who have ever messed with string jigs,
a lot of them are pretty big, heavy.
You gotta mount them to a table.
This one you could take wherever you wanted and set it up.
Yeah, exactly.
That's the point.
So because of the carbon fiber rods,
it's super light, but it's super stiff.
So because everything here is on the same elevation
and the pressure is being done in that way
rather than this way, so it can hold a lot of pressure
and a lot of tension while still being very, very light.
So that's one of the unique features about it.
That's definitely cool, I can say.
I've seen a lot of string jigs and to see one
that's sort of compact or portable even,
that you could take this anyway.
Like you said, you can get any of the parts together.
You could break this down and take it with you.
There's other string jigs, you're not doing that.
Yeah, exactly.
And one other thing, so for some crossbow owners,
basically it's an all-in-one device.
You can hold your strings on it and also doing the serving.
So unlike what's being done today.
So that's something to highlight as well.
Awesome.
Well, Nir Asaf, we appreciate your time with us today.
This thing is awesome.
Glad you came to ATA and were able to show it to us.
I know a lot of folks who deal with string jigs
and string making, we're all excited to see this.
Yeah, thank you so much.
Thanks.
Happy to be here.
