Trust God's Word!

Welcome back to Graceville, where God's love is everywhere. It's me, Pastor Anastasia, and I'm so super duper excited that you've joined me today as we learn more about our best friend, Jesus. Today's special feature comes to us from right here in the United States, where my friend Jemima has prepared a beautiful song to remind us of God's faithfulness. Let's listen in. That was awesome! Boys and girls, remember, if you want to share your gifts and talents for Jesus, please ask your parents or guardians to inbox me, and I'd be happy to share it with our friends. I was just on my way to Nature Time with our friend Ryan from Canada, and I heard he's teaming up with a friend today. Let's find out who is going to be joining him and what we're going to be learning about today. Hello, boys and girls, and welcome again to Nature Time at Graceville. Today, our friend Uriah is going to be talking to us about goldfish. Let's tune in. Goldfish are one of the most popular household pets, yet many goldfish owners know little about them. For example, goldfish don't have eyelids. Because of this fact, they cannot blink, and they do not close their eyes to sleep. Did you know that goldfish get their color from the sun? If you take the light source away from the fish, they will not be able to produce pigment, causing them to turn completely white. What is really interesting is the fact that there are countless color combinations found in goldfish. You will never find two goldfish with the same colorations and patterns. This gets me thinking about what it's like when God's light is reflecting upon us. John 8.12 says, When Jesus spoke to the people, he said, I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. Like goldfish, our beauty comes from the light that God reflects in our lives. Wow, Uriah, that was amazing. And always remember, if you guys have something you want to share with us, make sure to tell your parents or guardians to contact Pastor Anastasia. Bye boys and girls, thanks for tuning in, see you next time. There you are, just in time to check in on Nico. I heard he has exciting news to share with us. Come along with me. Hey Pastor Anastasia, I have a testimony. Last weekend, me and my Pal Finder Club went camping. We were having so much fun until my friend Bob and I got distracted and wandered off. He was afraid that we were lost, but I wasn't. Tell me more! After some time of trying to find our way through the maze of endless trees, I called our Pal Finder Director. He told me to stay where we were. My friend Bob started to get anxious and worried because he was afraid that we would be lost forever. But I knew that our Pal Finder Director would find a way. Praise God he found us. What a testimony, Nico. And there's someone else who always keeps his promises and never lets us down. That's right, I'm talking about Jesus. We never have to doubt anything he says. Wait a minute! That reminds me of our theme for this week, which simply says, Trust God's Word. Let me hear my little friend Kison in Texas say it. The theme for this week is Trust God's Word. And our memory verse is found in Acts 27 verse 25. And it simply says, I believe God that it will be just as he told me. Let me hear my little friend say it. I believe God that it will be just as he told me, Acts 27 verse 25. Great job everyone! That's one of the things I love about Jesus. He's the faithful promise keeper. Me too. I admire the way you remained calm, strong, and trusting. You were an encouraging witness to your friends. That's why today's story is about someone who bravely trusted God while being a witness to soldiers in the midst of a storm. Can you guess who today's story is about? Yes, I remember this one Pastor Anastasia. Who could forget this story? It's about Paul and the Roman soldiers. That's right Melanie. Today's story is about Paul and the Roman soldiers. The rough waves tossed the ship from side to side as a horrific storm raged on. The soldiers and everyone on board were so afraid. Instead of panicking, Paul chose to fast and pray. Thankfully, just when the soldiers had given up all hope of being saved, God spoke to Paul through his angel. God's messenger told Paul that God would protect them as long as they all remained in the ship. So, they abandoned their plans to escape and obediently followed God's command. Praise God, everyone survived just like God said they would. Wow, God really came through for Paul and Roman soldiers. He sure did. And He will come through for us every time we trust in Jesus and believe God's word.
