Boys and girls and welcome back to Graceville where God's love is everywhere. It's me Pastor
Anastasia and I'm so excited that you've joined me today as we learn more about our best friend
Jesus. Today's special feature comes to us all the way from Tanzania where my friends Noreen
and Noeva have prepared a beautiful song just for us. Let's listen in.
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine, let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.
Isn't that amazing?
Hi, I'm Benji with a special announcement from Graceville. On December 26th we will have
Graceville's Christmas concert and I'm in it. So make sure you like and subscribe to our
YouTube channel to get the reminder. And if you want to do something please send it to Pastor
Anastasia. It's nature time and aren't we in for a treat. Our friend Jordan from the Bahamas is
teaming up with Ryan today to bring us some very special guests. Let's see who they have with them
today. We're at Joshua Gardens to look at some animals. Today we are here to talk about the
national bird the Bahamas. They are the flamingos. Enagua National Park once had 5,000 flamingos
because they were hunted for meat. But now they're back to 50,000 to 80,000 flamingos which is
excellent for the environment. Flamingos like to stand on one leg. I tried it and it was not easy.
I wouldn't be able to do this all day. You see this? This is a flamingo feather. It is pink but
on the side of it is white. If they don't eat enough of their shrimp then the white can overcome
their feathers. This reminds me of what they say. We are what we eat. What we feed on will affect us
just like the flamingos. The more of God's word that we eat the more we will look like him.
Hey guys let's check in on Nico and see what he's up to today. Let's go. I am so excited. My
How cool. It's gonna be great. I got my tent, my secret stash, and my flashlight because I'm
scared of the dark. Don't tell anyone please. I beg of you. Don't worry your secret is safe with me.
But you know when we have Jesus living in our hearts we don't have to be afraid of anything
not even the dark because his love shines all around us. Actually that reminds me of our theme
for today that simply says Jesus is the light of the world. Let me hear my friends Omar and Amari
say it. Jesus is the light of the world. And our memory verse is found in John chapter 12 verse 6
and it simply says I have come as the light of the world. Anyone who believes in me will not
remain in darkness. Let me hear my friends right here in Maryland say it. Into the world.
Everyone who believes in me will not remain in darkness. John 12 46. Great job.
You know your stargazing honor reminds me of the night that Jesus came into the world.
The Bible tells us that he is the bright and morning star. He's even brighter than the north
star. Wait really? Absolutely. That's why today's story is about the night the brightest star ever
appeared in the sky to a group of shepherds watching their sheep. Can you guess who today's
story is about? Who was it again? Oh yes. It's the shepherds who came to see baby Jesus.
How can I ever forget that? That's right Gabrielle and Carl. It's about the shepherds
who came to see baby Jesus. It was a quiet night in the little town of Bethlehem when Jesus was
born. The shepherds settled down alongside their sheep to rest for the night when it suddenly
appeared in the sky. It was the brightest star they had ever seen. But what could it mean? They
wondered to themselves. Mysteriously an angel came out of nowhere saying do not be afraid.
I bring you good news. Jesus the Savior is born. You will find him in the city. Look for the baby
Before they knew it more angels appeared saying glory to God in the highest. The shepherds were
so excited to hear the good news that they hurried into the city to find him by following the bright
shining star that led them right to baby Jesus the light of the world. Wow I thought it would be
super cool to see a star as bright as Jesus. Well although we can't see him we can feel the light of
his love and presence all around us. As we pray and read our bibles we get closer to Jesus. So
remember boys and girls wherever you are to invite the love of Jesus to shine out of your hearts
today. Boys and girls if you want to enjoy more videos from Graceville please make sure to have
