This is the ultimate Miami fast food tour, and today I’m eating the biggest fast food chains in America to find out which is best. From McDonald’s, Chipotle, Five Guys, Chick-fil-A, Pollo Tropical, Taco Bell, Burger King, KFC, Starbucks, Subway, and Wendy’s, I’m testing what fast food is really like in 2026. Then I'll be giving my rankings and the winner/loser at the end.
America is getting expensive, and sometimes this is all you can afford, so we’re finding out what still tastes good, what’s worth the money, and what’s just hype. This is Miami fast food, American fast food culture, cheap eats, fast food reviews, and real life in the United States. Let’s eat.
Miami, the most expensive city in America to dine out.
But this isn't the story of Miami.
This is a story of America in 2026.
$4 for a gallon of gas, oxtail through the roof.
No one can afford anything anymore,
and that's why I'm going the ultimate fast food tour.
We're doing McDonald's, Burger King,
Chick-fil-A, Taco Bell, Pollo Tropical, and more.
I'm gonna give you my ranking by value and taste,
and I'm gonna give you the one
that I love the most at the very end.
All right, let's start this fast food tour.
Let's go.
And we're starting off with McDonald's,
the biggest fast food chain in the world.
It started in the 40s in California,
and there's a bit of hype right now
with the Big Arch, and I haven't tried it yet.
So let's go inside, let's order it.
I'm gonna see if it's good.
There you go.
Let's keep vlogging.
Burgers, Big Arch, Big Mac.
Do they not have the Big Arch?
Oh, here it is, here it is, no image.
Let's go with that.
Items only.
All right, add to order, and then let's go with fries.
That's it?
That's it.
All right.
My total is 12.28.
Right, all right.
Let's do this.
Got the Big Arch.
I'm excited.
You know, I've tried so many dishes in my life,
but this is exciting.
The Big Arch, here we go.
Did you know that 85 million Americans
eat fast food every single day?
That's one third of the country
is eating like I am right now.
And there's the Big Arch.
They got two massive patties here.
Got some sauce.
All right, I'm gonna be doing the McDonald's CEO method.
I don't make the rules here.
Here we go.
I took a monster bite of this product.
All right, let me take a real bite.
Come on, guys.
Here we go.
Mm.
Oh, it's good.
You know what I love about it?
The cheese and the, oh wow, that sauce inside.
Super juicy.
You know, I was thinking about doing a two bite robot.
First one, I'll do a third.
Mm, I'm getting a burger for this price with fries.
Value, I think, is good.
And by the way, if you're 20 to 40,
20% of your caloric intake is fast food.
I know when I was in college, I ate a lot of fast food.
They're fries.
They're good, nice and salty.
It's all relative.
But on my fast food rating scale of value and taste,
I'm gonna say for $12, this is a great meal.
I'd probably give it up there in like a nine
in terms of that value for what you're getting.
I eat this, I'm good at it.
Where can I eat in America for under $20 anymore?
I don't think anywhere.
And then taste, it is tasty.
I'd say probably, I'd probably give it an eight out of 10.
Guys, do you prefer the Big Mac or the Big Arch?
Let me know.
Right now, the Big Arch is great.
Tastes good.
And next up, we got Taco Bell.
Started in the 60s and again, California.
It's like industrialized Mexican food.
You have gorditas, you have chulipas,
and you have small little chihuahuas.
Hey, something like that.
Let's go inside.
All right, so I'm getting the classic crunchy taco
and I'm getting a new dish,
which is the nacho cheese Dorito with a loco supreme.
All right, so there we go.
Add to order.
And then we're going crunch.
Checkout, $6.40.
Let's go.
And if you didn't know,
Pepsi owns KFC, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut.
Well, they put their Pepsi everywhere, right?
All right, let's try this.
All right, Taco Bell, we got our two tacos here.
We have Dorito and the regular original.
This is the Dorito, as you can see, with nacho cheese.
Do you think this nacho cheese Dorito is Mexican?
All right, let's try it.
You know what?
For value, six bucks, you get two tacos.
I mean, the streets of Mexico would be the $1,
but hey, man, this is street food America.
Mmm.
Yo, it's smashed, it's good.
Crunchy, I love Doritos.
They say the future of the food is in the fusion.
This is almost just like a ground meat
that has been like, you know,
like turned into almost like a pasty.
It's good, it's not what I say is amazing,
but yeah, I mean, what else can I tell you about Taco Bell?
I haven't eaten here in years.
Here we go, another bite, the original.
Classic taste, good crunch.
You know, when I think about it,
this is actually probably the healthiest thing
I could have here in terms of fast food.
What is it?
Just a small tortilla that's been, you know,
fried with some good meat.
The meat's great.
For value, I'd say it's pretty good.
I think it's still like an eight out of 10
in terms of what you're getting.
Taste-wise, I'd say definitely down there.
I mean, probably like a five for this,
and then this one maybe a little more.
I liked a little bit of that Dorito taste to it.
You guys know everything we do on this channel.
There's so many things happening behind the scenes.
Reaching out to hotels, tourism boards,
restaurants, sponsors, and honestly,
when all this is spread across many platforms,
it gets messy.
That's why Brevo caught my attention.

I was born here in Miami, and in 1988,
Pocho Pica started their first spot right here in this city.
Pocho Pica, so tropical chicken.
It's all about the chicken here.
It's Caribbean flavors.
We're going for this one, the classic tropi chop,
right there.
We're here, and let me also get the cheesy plantain bites.
Yeah.
All right, let's go find a seat.
Always sitting in the back.
This is great.
I love this chopped chicken.
We got the rice and the beans.
This is what I grew up on, guys.
It actually looks like amazing,
like nice and charred right there,
like almost like a frijoles negros.
You know what?
Smoky and tender.
I love the juice of the frijoles negros.
You know what?
It's healthy.
It's affordable.
What was it, 12?
I'd rather go with this over a big arch.
If you guys didn't know, the slop bowls are in,
but this is more of an elegant slop bowl,
not so wild.
It's enjoyable.
You know, who doesn't like rice and beans?
And over here, here's the cheesy plantain bites.
So you gotta open it up, like that.
Yeah, it does remind me almost like a tequeño,
but the outside is super soft.
Mm, it has the taste of a sweet maduro.
Oh, it's delicious.
That's dessert.
That was some honey.
In terms of value, it's a very healthy fast food meal.
Almost $14 one person eats.
I mean, this is like having the entree and the sweets.
I'd say probably a seven.
I mean, it is a little expensive.
I mean, but it is what it is nowadays, you know?
And then in terms of taste,
I'd say this would definitely need some sauce.
So like right now, I'd say it's a five.
This one, I personally like this.
I'd say it's six, you know?
Maybe a seven if you add some honey extra,
but it's pretty delicious.
And for health, for sure, 10 out of 10,
it's the healthiest one you're gonna eat today.
All right, guys.
So we're continuing our fast food adventure
here at Burger King.
Direct competitor to McDonald's.
Started in 1953 in Jacksonville.
The guys who started it visited the first McDonald's.
They were inspired.
They started, then they started franchising.
Eventually, the guys from Miami took over the business.
And we hear they have a new Whopper,
so that's what we're trying, and some fries.
I think it just is the new Whopper.
That's what they say.
It's like it's redesigned, I mean.
Yeah, so it's 9.18.
TBH, done.
Here we go, pay here.
I can't even believe this.
This is like their new Whopper.
That's the classic right there.
Made in direct competition with the Big Mac, huh?
You know, I won't lie, I don't love it.
I've tasted some amazing burgers in my life.
This one, dude, I might like McDonald's better.
Today, McDonald's winning.
Yeah, so on the value, I'd give it a good rank.
It's like an eight out of 10.
Pretty good, I mean, it's like 10 bucks.
You get the meal.
Nice pickle.
In terms of taste, I'd lower this.
I'd probably say a six.
Fries not on my favorite, probably a four.
I don't even touch the rest of the fries.
Sorry, Burger King.
One last McDonald's CEO bite on this product, to be sure.
Yeah, no.
No need.
Next up, we got Chick-fil-A.
I love this place.
I grew up on chicken here.
It started in the 60s in Atlanta,
and they're all about that chicken sandwich.
Let's go inside, let's try it.
Chick-fil-A and Wendy's Chicken Sandwiches
are the sandwiches I grew up with.
Look at this.
Classic, just a nice piece of chicken on top.
Perfect, and here we go.
The pickle, oh my God.
Juicy, it really hasn't changed ever.
It tastes amazing.
Now I'm gonna try the fries.
These are the waffle cut fries, right?
You know, I like it that they changed it up
and didn't just go like regular,
like Burger King, McDonald's.
They didn't want to compete with that.
They wanted to do something different.
My personal favorite are the Five Guys fries,
but we'll see about that today.
Oh, they're good.
They need to be a little crispier.
In terms of value, it's under $10.
I think it's a deal.
I mean, I personally love this,
and it's not as heavy, not saucy.
And then the fries, of course, they're unique.
So value-wise, I'd say I'd give it a seven.
And then taste-wise, I'd say this would probably be an eight.
This would probably be like a four.
And next up, we're at Wendy's.
They started in 1969 in Ohio,
and they're known for their spicy chicken sandwich.
They got a new one in-house.
And then they're also known for, you know,
dunking the fries in the frosty.
So we're gonna do that today.
Man, I have so many memories of the one in South Miami.
Wendy's, spicy chicken sandwich every single day.
Founder Dave Thomas, where you at?
And I'll get a side order of fries.
Small.
I guess I'll just go with a small frosty.
How many do you have?
The combo would just be all the three?
All right, let's do that.
Yeah, so the price came out to roughly under $12, $11.76.
So I got everything in the combo.
I got the fries, I got the spicy chicken sandwich,
and I get the frosty.
Can't wait.
This is Dave Thomas, the founder.
Look at this guy.
Dave Thomas, where you at?
And I personally root always for Wendy's.
It's not the worst of the fast foods
in terms of what you're eating.
This is the spicy chicken sandwich.
This is the new one, so it's a little different
from the one we all grew up with.
For this one, you gotta take a nice bite.
Nice and crunchy here.
Got some mayo right there.
It's tasty.
My taste buds must be burned
because there's no spice in here for me.
So if you're thinking spicy, definitely not spicy.
Let's see.
Lots of flavor there, the mayo.
And then for this one, this is a unique thing.
My daughter would love this.
Go in here with the fries and just do this.
This is genius marketing.
It's so weird.
It's like cold and hot and salty.
I mean, anything to sell the frosties, right?
Between the value, it's a pretty good deal.
This is all like $12.
You get all this.
So you get really full.
You have everything, right?
You have the saltiness, savoriness.
You got the sweet right here.
It is definitely flavorful.
So here's the value.
I'd say like 8.3, a little better than the other ones
because you literally got entire meal here
with the massive frosty.
Oh, that's phenomenal.
In terms of taste, you know what?
Taste-wise, still what I remember from childhood.
So I'd say 7.5.
Spicy chicken sandwich.
I don't know.
The chick-fil-a sandwich, I think was better.
Personally, it has less.
This one's a little more elaborate,
but spicy level, not too high.
While I continue to eat this.
Toot, toot, toot.
Spice level for a normal person,
that has to be like a seven.
For me, it's like a five.
For Mark Wiens, this is not even spice.
KFC, it's part of the fast food
I've eaten the most of my lifetime.
I ate a lot throughout the Caribbean.
I think Jamaica and Trinidad
probably have the best down there,
but today we're gonna be trying it in America.
Because KFC dates back to the 1930s.
Colonel Sanders, 11 herbs and spices.
This is gonna be amazing.
Let's go inside and let's see.
Let me get a two-piece fried chicken combo.
Okay, what size?
So any of the fries, so just fries.
Yeah, 9.19.
So as you guys know, Yum Brands owns KFC,
so you always have Pepsi here.
What else?
Mountain Dew, Dr. Pepper.
They also own Pizza Hut and Taco Bell.
All right, so here we go.
So we got the fries, two pieces of chicken,
and the biscuit.
I'll open this biscuit up
and put some of the chicken in there.
I'm gonna try this before I do it alone.
Nice, fluffy, little butter crust.
Let me try some of the fries.
It's getting, it's in the mixed middle
between like crispy and still a little doughy.
They say KFC fries are the worst.
Not that good.
Oh my God, look at this, bro.
Look at the oil right here.
That looks so oily.
I'm gonna take a nice, amazing, juicy bite.
You ready?
Oh man.
They have so much flavor in here.
Definitely super oily.
You do taste the 11 herbs and spices.
Wow.
The only thing is that after one of these,
it's like really heavy.
You know, feel it.
So if I compare it to Jamaica,
I think Jamaica's better for the taste.
I don't know, this is like,
this feels like just like oily, juicy chicken.
I like the skin, but the inside is not good.
Like the biscuit, I think in terms of biscuits,
pretty good.
In terms of value, I'd say this is probably like a 8.5,
8.6, pretty good.
Everything under $10.
I mean, it is a meal, an entire meal here.
In terms of taste,
probably gonna put this to the lowest,
three right now.
I didn't love the taste.
Chicken feels like almost like fake, sorry.
Biscuits, tastiest thing.
No, nothing.
Fries, I'll give it a one,
because there's something here.
All right, so they told me to try this KFC sauce.
So maybe, just maybe,
the fries taste a little better with this.
What is this gonna be like?
Looks like it's bowl of sauce.
It's like a mayo, ketchup.
Maybe some spice.
More like a honey mustard.
Smoky, sweet, tangy.
Caribbean KFC is still the king.
So I've had KFC in Jamaica, Trinidad,
Guyana, Suriname, St. Martin, St. Vincent, Nigeria.
Literally tried it everywhere,
and this is the worst I've ever had.
This is definitely mid,
and I've had a lot of fast food today,
and this is definitely the worst meal of them all.
Don't eat at this KFC.
Sorry, Colonel Sanders.
Five Guys, one of my favorite burger spots.
I personally love their fries.
They started in 1986 out of Arlington, Virginia,
and named after the five members who started Five Guys.
They're all about their burgers,
so you build it and you can get the fries
with some cajun inside,
but we're gonna do the original
because we're comparing today.
Follow me inside.
Every time you walk into a Five Guys,
you're always gonna see the Idaho potatoes right in front.
That's why they're so good.
Let's go.
Cheeseburger and little fries.
Besides having checkers throughout,
they also have peanuts right here,
so you can get yourself some peanuts as a little appetizer.
Then we come over here and sit down.
Mm, pretty delicious.
I love peanuts.
You know, the biggest difference for me
with the fast food joints and these more,
I guess you'd say more upscale, more gourmet burgers
like Five Guys, Shake Shack,
these places that you actually see them
making the burgers right in front of you.
Open kitchen concept.
All right, and that's it.
We're ready?
You're giving me the cajun on the side?
Hey, right out the fryer.
Mm, best fries of the day.
Throwing some cajun seasoning on the side.
Phenomenal.
Thank you.
I've eaten at Five Guys a lot in my lifetime,
and something's changed here.
So the fries usually comes in a cup,
and now they just threw it in the bag.
That's crazy.
They're supposed to like open this,
do like this, and find the burger somewhere in there.
This is like how you do it at Five Guys.
This is the best fries of the day.
Mm, crispy, just enough doughiness, a little salty.
Maybe a little spicy.
That's just cajun seasoning.
Oh, it's good.
I love these fries.
Now this is the burger.
What is this called?
Is this a Five Guys burger, Nate?
Just regular.
This is two patties, cheese, monster.
And in terms of value, I mean, it is a monster.
This is $20, so it's definitely the highest of the day.
Double basically everybody else.
So I'd say you're not gonna get the most value out of it,
but it is a monster meal.
Look, it's the most expensive by double,
so I'd say it's a 6.5.
But it's gonna be my favorite, I'm sure.
You can't beat this taste.
Taste-wise, 10 out of 10 right here.
It's juicy, it's stacked.
Got the onions, got the lettuce, got the, what else?
Mushrooms, jalapenos here for some spice.
This is a beautiful burger.
I've eaten it so many times in my life.
Damn, this is stacked.
Give me a hammer high five, guys, try it today.
On the fast food rating scale,
this is a 10 out of 10 for the fries,
10 out of 10 for the burger.
I'm in heaven, fast food heaven.
And when you think about fast food in America,
you can't leave out Subway.
Started in the 60s in Connecticut
as your healthier sandwich spot,
and then they had a mascot named Jared,
and yeah, he got into a little bit of trouble.
Jared, what's wrong with you?
Let's hope the sandwiches taste better than your ethics.
A six inch, right?
Yeah, a six inch.
So that comes with turkey, ham, and roast beef.
So right now he's putting on turkey, ham, and roast beef.
As you can see,
looks like he's putting about four pieces of each.
And then after that,
we're gonna add whatever we want on top to fill it up,
but it comes with this.
Okay, for the cheese,
I have American provolone and pepper jack.
Pepper jack.
Can't you tell us the-
Maybe toast a little bit, yeah, yeah.
So we're gonna go with, let's see, lettuce.
Let me get some black olives,
maybe some onions,
and then some jalapenos.
That'll be fine.
Maybe a little spicy.
Perfect.
Let me get some Baja Chipotle.
Change it up, I don't know.
So many sauces.
That's good.
Man, just to remember this place.
High school, I used to come at least once a week to Subway.
All my boys, it was the most affordable thing.
Now, what is it, like nine bucks for this?
Would you like to make it one of those?
Hey, no, I'm good, just say that.
Thank you.
So in terms of value, 8.7.
That's what I'm giving it
because it is the most affordable meal.
It's six inches and should be the healthiest,
or at least one of the healthiest.
So I toasted it.
You got the ham, you have the roast beef,
and you have the turkey.
Then I added like some lettuce, some onions,
some black olives, jalapenos is my thing.
And then I added like some Chipotle sauce.
Let's see.
It weighs.
And not so bad.
Slightly spicy.
You know what, it's super fresh.
It's not that greasy stuff we just had at KFC,
which still have it in my taste.
Let me fix this.
Definitely jam-packed with flavor.
Nice multigrain bun.
Let's say you're going out, something quick,
like you're starving and you have no way to have lunch.
For $9, $10, you have this, you're full for the day.
Definitely I think it's good.
So value's really high.
And then in terms of taste, I would say maybe a six.
Not like extremely tasty, but not bland.
The sauce definitely helps.
And next up we have Chipotle Mexican Grill.
Started in the 90s in Colorado,
and this is more of a fast, casual Mexican food.
Definitely healthier than the other options we had today.
Let's go inside, let's try it.
Let's go.
Yeah, so the way it works here at Chipotle
is that you select a burrito, bowl, tacos, or salad.
I'm going with the bowl,
and I'll probably go with carnitas.
But the chicken and the beef barbecue
is also really good.
The steak's really nice as well.
And then you can walk on the side if you want.
What am I doing there?
Let me see, what is that?
What was that?
It's like, you know what?
Forget looking up here.
Look at what looks good, you know?
Because, right?
Can I get a bowl of carnitas?
For here, for here.
Yeah, regular rice?
Let me get some black beans.
All right, that's good.
Yeah, you said carnitas?
Yeah, carnitas.
And then, of this, all this?
Corn, tomato.
Let me get some corn, and let me get some,
I'll go a little hot.
But just on the side.
That'll be $10.91.
$10.91?
Hey, thank you so much.
Appreciate it.
So Mexican, fast, casual.
Got the carnitas.
I did it like a little exotic here.
Got some spice on the side.
Got the carnitas mixed with some of the,
there's some pickled vegetables.
What else we got in here?
We got some rice.
Beautiful, mix this up.
Let's try it.
Slop-o for the win.
Mm, lots of flavor here.
I think value, definitely one of the highest.
I'd say this is like a 9.4, 9.5.
For $10.91, we have a very healthy option.
I can, you know, see myself eating this after working out.
Come here and get myself a nice bowl
with some rice, some spice, all that stuff I like.
And in terms of taste, I'd say this is also up there,
like an eight.
Oh, it's good.
The key here at Chipotle is you can make it
as healthy as you want,
or you can add a lot more things if you want.
So in the 70s in Seattle,
some guys started this place called Starbucks.
And then in the 90s, it exploded.
The concept was make a,
like an Italian-style cafe shop in America.
And now they're everywhere.
I personally don't love Starbucks,
but I'll go there for a cold brew or for a coffee.
And today we're gonna do the egg sandwich, you said?
We're gonna do the egg sandwich.
Let's do it.
Cheddar egg, un doble espresso.
Did you want something or no?
Espresso, yeah.
Dos dobles.
All right, so I'm Italian,
so we're going with the double espresso.
Oh, that smells great.
I mean, no sugar, no milk.
Perfect.
When I think about breakfast, I think about Starbucks.
This is what I think about.
Mm-hmm.
I'd say they definitely win
compared to McDonald's for the egg sandwich.
You know what?
It's juicy, it's soft, it's a little sweet.
The cheese, value-wise,
I mean, right here we spent like $14.
I'd say definitely very low on the value.
Probably like four out of 10.
Taste-wise, yeah, it's good.
I mean, if you're thinking about having breakfast,
get this, maybe add some maple syrup.
That's what I would add to this.
Taste-wise, it's like a four.
Four out of 10.
So four out of 10 the whole way.
Starbucks, I don't love you.
Unless you sponsor me,
because that cold brew is fire.
You know what?
It's still way better than American KFC.
That stuff was just oily and gross.
And that was the ultimate fast food tour.
Did 11 spots.
I'm gonna tell you my top three.
Chick-fil-A, that's number three.
Number two is probably Chipotle.
Pretty tasty.
And number one, I gotta go with Five Guys,
because Five Guys is so good.
And then I'll say the worst of all of them,
out of 11 spots, the worst.
God, KFC, you are so bad today.
What do you think?
What's your favorite fast food?
And let me know in the comments.
Should I do this again?
I don't know, my stomach can't handle this.
