Hello from Bangkok, Thailand, and it's that time of the year again, it's Sankran. So we're here at Silom Road, and this is absolutely wild. I'm just going to pan the camera around to show you how many people are here. So we're actually on the elevated bridge at the minute, we're going to make our way down. I'm with the missus. Say hello. Hello! And it's hot, it's like 37 degrees. If you didn't know, Silom Road is arguably the best place to come and celebrate Sankran in Bangkok. Because it's the liveliest, the craziest. This stretch of road is about, I think it's about 5 kilometers. It's a few kilometers down, so let's get in the action. We've made it to the main road area, but it's locked and drenched. So look at this, you'll see how big the blocks of ice are. You just know when the icy water is going to hit you, you're just going to clench up. Straight in the face. I advise you, if you are coming here, do not wear trainers, only wear crocs. Otherwise, you're going to get ruined and absolutely soaked. You can also buy this. People put it on their face. Someone's dropped some glasses. And they also have these zones around Silom Road. So this is a Zik Zika zone. I did hear that they had less alcohol this year, or they limited the alcohol. But according to this zone, you can just buy a phone, just go and enjoy. So let's go check it out. People are just eating right at the side of the road. I want everything. This is my favourite venue to come for Songkran in Bangkok, Silom Road. Just because of the pure atmosphere and people here. But in terms of other venues which are pretty good, Khao San Road, but it gets a little bit hectic in the evening. Of course, Siam area, Central World, places like this. Even Cowboy and Nana Plaza.
