2024 Hyundai Venue SE vs SEL

I'm going to do a short comparison on the 2024 Hyundai Venues SEL medium trim package on the left and the SE base trim package on the right. As you can see the wheels are different. The SEL has nicer wheels 21s versus 17s and the SEL also has a sunroof. No sunroof on the SE sunroof standard plus the SEL also has the rear and side crossing traffic warning systems whereas the SE does not have that. The SE does have the backup camera same as the SEL. The SEL also has digital HVAC controls. The SE has analog. So Dawson what do you think about the SEL? You like it? Yeah it's a great car. This is the second one you've owned right? Yes this is the second one and it's the same SEL that I have. What year was the one you had before? 2020 or it was it was either a 2020 or 2021. Do you like this year better even with the same trim package? What's different? I mean nothing's really different except for the entry right here. You get a button that locks it. You see how it's locked and then you click it. And what about the sunroof? Oh yeah and the sunroof and these it comes with these these little supports here and the sunroof's really nice for when you don't want to mess up your hair you know and roll the windows down. Well that's cool. So that's really the only thing that's different and it has the nicer wheels which is nice. Well it looks pretty clean. How many miles do you have on it now about? About 6,000? Yeah I think about almost seven No problems right? Yeah I already have the oil change scheduled so. Well that's good. Would you buy another one? Yeah probably honestly I haven't had any mechanical issues with this one or the last one. Wow. Except for uh oh yeah except for the uh the window washer pump or whatever. In the previous one? Yeah so uh. Bless you. What was happening was this this uh nozzle here wasn't spraying out anything and the left one was so I mean I could still drive but sometimes it would be annoying if I was really needed to wash my windshield and it wasn't working so that was a little bit annoying but besides that it's a pretty good car. Wow glad you never left me stranded. Decent gas mileage? Yeah 30 mile mpg with the way I drive and with the way he drives it's 35. I drive a little bit saner 35 miles to the gallon. Same engines I got a little bit different wheels. The other thing is the SCR has four wheel disc. I got a drum in the back it's a solid axle it's considered the cheapest SUV sold in the United States. This one. Pay 21 I believe you pay 23 plus plus plus which you know in a few years you're not going to be able to buy a new car for under 25 grand in the U.S. the way things are going.
