Winter Stealth Car Camping in a Walmart Parking Lot - Freezing Temps and Snow!

See I don't need a mortgage And I'm on empty and times are hard It is no secret among those of you guys who know me what I do. I go on a road trip and Tonight is no different as I'm heading out to a hip camp, but per always there is a snowstorm So guess where we end up so it is close to 11 o'clock. Oh, it's getting really close So I need to run into Walmart and get some groceries before it closes. So let's go do that now All right, I'm just gonna get my window covers up and then I'll tell you guys what is going on I Have to be real this stealth camping at Walmart could be riskier than ones I've done in the past All right, guys, so I'm just doing a quick little weather check here So if you can see on my phone this whole area There's like precipitation snow ice rain and a lot. I can't show you exactly where I am This is not the most ideal Walmart. I really prefer to stay at Walmart's that are More established whether on I overlander or something. Excuse me. You want it? Yeah, I really find those situations a lot Risky as far as parking because when you have trucks and just travelers in and out Like on a busy road like off of an interstate I find there's a lot less risky where this is a very quiet very small city Tears, so that definitely does bring the risk factor of getting caught so that does bring it up Usually when it's on I overlander, I feel like by then it's more established But here I do not see any other vans there are no semis is very quiet and I Think there's a few employee Employees parked, but I think basically I'm gonna be the only one on the lot tonight but I really do think the weather will play into our favor here because usually cops when there's snow and Like ice and stuff. It seems like they're busy helping other people. There's no ordinances Citywide against sleeping in cars The only ordinances that I saw were like you can't sleep on the sidewalk in this city You cannot park your car on the sidewalk you get in your dinner party Parker's eating I got an air fryer for the car and Everything has changed Here take it Okay, so I think the fries are supposed to cook a little bit higher. So I'm gonna go ahead and Put these and first Because I am getting over being sick, and I just don't have an appetite Yet, so I'm just gonna put like a few in here. I don't really need that many So something that I'm also noticing is that having the air fryer on is actually generating a lot of heat Okay, we're not quite done yet, but I'm just giving it a mid cook stir What's that? Oh, I think I overdid it. Okay, I think we're done wait, no turn off off off off All right, perfect. Oh, was that Thunder? It sounded like fireworks or Thunder or a tire Kabooming. So unfortunately, I don't have a plate I just realized I do have a plate but it's in the cooler and it's under my other power station and Parker's water and I'm not gonna go under there right now. So I'm just gonna eat out the air fryer It's fine. How innovative is that? I don't know what all this like mortgage talk is. See I don't need a mortgage I just need an air fryer because when you have an air fryer, I have my kitchen. I have my entertainment center It's like everything I have furniture. It's like it's a heater. I mean, it's like a multi-faceted product Yeah, I mean I don't see why I need a house I mean I have everything that I need right here it's complete Yeah mortgage smorgasbord Get an air fryer. It's everything I need in life right Yeah Perky, can we go potty? All right, everybody well a snow has started to fall so I'm gonna get this boy out before it gets too much worse Can you take a break to put your sweater back on Come here. I think you can I'm very sorry. All right, so I'm trying to decide what to do about the weather tonight It's like 30 degrees and I think it's going to be right around freezing tonight And I'm kind of tempted to use my electric blanket but my power station is at 63 and I still want to use this tomorrow and I want to keep using my light So I think I'm just gonna hold off on that and I'm just gonna do the sleeping bag inside of a sleeping bag tonight There you go. How is that bird? under duck I Have been doing some research here for the last several minutes I am Research. I'm actually shopping. I'm beyond research. I am shopping for a fridge for the car and so far the ones that I'm considering is Dometic booze art booze RG booze RV and I don't know how to say it like iceco Icicle or something and just from like what I'm looking at It looks like it looks like the Dometic is the highest ranked one And I definitely like how it looks like it looks so good But it's also the most expensive and so I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth it, I mean I would definitely Pay more for it. Like if there was if it was gonna like last longer than the others If you guys have any advice on this, could you please drop that in the comments? Because I do see this like iceco one all the time But I'm willing to pay more if the fridge is gonna last longer because it will be a process To get it and Yeah, I would prefer not to have to switch it out really soon So I have to decide which brand to get and then I also have to decide like what size to get So I will be like measuring this whole area in here trying to determine the best size. So Yeah, guys, I'm just doing some research here and the snow should be starting soon After like what this winter was like, I feel like being here with this little snowstorm coming and it being Around freezing. I feel like I'm in the Caribbean This seriously, I'm not exaggerating. I'm not I'm not it feels tropical It feels down right Tropical I'm not gonna brush my teeth here because I know some of you all do not like that But for the record I am brushing my teeth All right, guys, so it's like an hour later And the snow has definitely oh shoot. There's a guy in his truck right there, but it definitely started snowing We've got snow on the ground. It's really windy The snow is supposed to really start accumulating here over the next several hours and tomorrow morning So I'm not quite sure what I'm gonna do, but we'll figure it out tomorrow. I'm getting really tired He's all bedded down in on the sleeping bag and with the nano loft blanket He will make him crawl up in my sleeping bag if he wants to Definitely stay tuned because it could be a long night. I Don't know if I don't think anybody's gonna bother me, but you know, we never know So we'll have to see how much snow we get in the morning. So I'll see you in the morning Still snowing I'm gonna see if I can use these and the air fryer. I've never I've never tried that before but We'll see. I Feel so much better. I feel better I'm happier in the car guys. I'm just I'm happier in the car. It's where I'm happy. It's where I feel good having a really rough time lately Really rough time lately just I mean, I really hate to complain because I feel really blessed in some ways because I have I Feel like I have like all this life to manage but You know, it just gets to a point where it's too much, you know I mean, have you ever just spread yourself like so thin where it's just Yeah, it's just as humans. We're not indispensable. We're just not we're not so Yeah, I'm um, I'm making some plans guys. I'm making some plans my life. It's not gonna be like this forever, but I'm making some plans It's gonna be a little bit though. It's gonna be a little bit but I really appreciate you guys Hanging with me.
