Visit the rose garden at the Jerry Dunlop Historic House.

So this is a historical home in California. I think it's called the Jane Butterfield or Jerry Dunlap house and they're very prominent people in the city. I think Mrs. Butterfield was an executive and she also supported a lot of social causes and today in as part of Rose Day in the city they are going to open it up and let everybody see the rose garden. So I'm going to do a quick video on that. And this is the garden. You can see traditional with the boxwoods and she's got this nice brick around it and then we'll go into detail and look at some of the roses quickly here. Okay this is probably State of Grace. I think so. And Barbra Streisand. Very fragrant mauve rose. This I would guess is Miss Congeniality or Hannah Gordon. This, I don't know, John F. Kennedy maybe. And this is probably Maria Callas, Miss All-American Beauty. The foliage looks right. And here is Neil Diamond. And Neil Diamond is just about my favorite rose and I was chatting with the homeowner and it's her favorite too. So you know just a very good and popular rose. This looks like Color Magic. This from Foliage and Bloom is Olympiad. Here's another Miss All-American Beauty and another Olympiad. This one I don't even think I will guess. This is a really nicely grown Miss All-American Beauty. This is Ketchup and Mustard. Very popular rose in our part of the country. This looks kind of like a mellow yellow but again I'm not sure. Another rose that the homeowner pointed out. This is Medallion. Medallion is still probably the largest flower of all roses. Another Neil Diamond. You see why we all like it so much. It just blooms a ton. And this is most likely Julia Child. Another Ketchup and Mustard and more of a Brilliant Pink Iceberg. And here she's got a statue of a pig. And the landscaping is just beautiful here. Take you around. And then she's got a little plaque here that welcomes you to her garden. Here's a group of red roses that the owner has framing her home. I don't know the name of it. She said it's a recent variety. It is scented but not like super strong scented. And if I find the person who chose these roses I'll ask what the name is.
