Found out last week, we're losing our house.
Found out yesterday, laid off from my job.
And you quit the job?
Yeah, that's what I said.
Listen up.
Do not quit your job.
Layoffs are absolutely surging right now,
especially in things like technology,
retail, and transportation.
You don't want to be the last one to find out
you're about to lose your job.
The people that survive next
are not going to be the smartest people.
They're going to be the people
that best adapt to the new technology.
So stop chasing the exits.
Start stacking your skills.
Start learning some AI
and make sure you're the last one on the cut list.
And today, you guys are going to learn
about what's going on in the labor market today
and what's going to happen in the labor market
in 2027 and in 2028 when the real storm begins.
Now, our ending segment is going to be on
how to build a brand out of your name
and use it to make income.
Now, having said that, guys,
welcome back to Real Estate Mindset.
Happy Sunday.
And I just wanted to say real quick,
every single person that has been supporting
our advocacy fight, thank you.
I am just about back now.
I'm going to get back to the channel.
I'm going to start working hard,
but I got to tell you guys,
I could not have fought those battles without you.
Now, before I dig in and I show you guys the data
on what's happening in 2026,
let's listen to this man,
because I think it's important that we accept the fact,
doesn't matter how long we've been working at a company,
doesn't matter how loyal we've been
or how good we've performed,
if they're going to cut you,
they're going to cut you.
Listen to this.
Today, I watched five of my coworkers get laid off
from a job that they've been working for 20 plus years.
Each and every one of them have 20 plus years experience
and the company just let them go just like that.
Now, these are hardworking, dedicated, loyal employees.
So it just goes to show, man,
you can do everything right and stuff still goes round.
And just prove once again,
you can't control what happens to you.
All you can control is how you respond.
And that's what's most important.
You can let it break you or you can be prepared.
Discipline is not about today.
Discipline is about being prepared for days like this.
I know things could get bad at any given moment,
any given time.
Nobody's special.
Nobody's getting out of this thing
with a perfect spotless life.
Hard stuff is going to happen.
Like messed up stuff is going to happen
to good individuals.
And this is why I want to do hard things consistently, man,
because that callous, building up that callous
and getting your mindset right to face hard situations
is what's going to push us through
when things get really difficult.
Let's start the video by talking about
the things that are difficult right now
as far as what's going on in the labor market.
Now, I made this report right here
and essentially there's three sectors
that are dominated with layoffs right now.
It's in all sectors, but three main sectors,
which obviously everyone knows.
Number one, technology.
You probably knew that.
Number two, transportation.
And number three, healthcare.
But when we go down the technology list,
I want you guys to pay attention
at what some of these mega companies are doing.
It seems that maybe it's a trend,
but look at the first one.
Amazon announced 16,000 corporate layoffs in January
and another 14,000 in October of 2025,
which means they have fired Amazon 10% since October.
Okay, so in about what?
A little over half of a year,
10% of their employees are gone.
Okay.
And you guys, I'm going to tell you,
especially with Amazon,
that's going to get a lot worse
as they continue to move to robotics and self-animation.
They're also doing robotic taxis, I believe.
Now look at this.
Meta also announced roughly 8,000 job cuts
and that's just the first round.
That equals 10% of their global workforce.
So Amazon cuts 10%,
Meta cuts 10%.
And by the way, don't forget,
they're going to do another 10% in a few months.
Microsoft recently, this was kind of a surprise thing,
offered buyouts to about 7% of its US workforce in April.
This is the first time in 51 years that they've done this.
Now also, Oracle began deep cuts in late March.
The estimate for the total amount of employees
that were laid off is 10 to 30,000 employees,
which total 18%.
I mean, you guys probably are starting
to see the writing on the wall.
And look at Dell.
Dell also, you guys, just like Meta,
just like Amazon, reduced its workforce by 10%.
And that's roughly 11,000 people.
Okay.
Now what this is saying,
the common driver in tech is companies are saying
they're redirecting budgets toward AI capital expenditure.
So it's not the AI that's replacing their jobs yet.
They just need more money to throw into the abyss that's AI
and using AI tools to reduce coding, content moderation,
customer support, and middle management headcount.
There's also mass layoffs in transportation and logistics.
Remember, UPS announced 30,000
operational job eliminations in 2026.
That is the largest single transportation sector layoff.
And the primary reason transportation displaced retail
as the number two industry in layoffs,
probably one of those robotic taxis
is going to just completely take over.
Seriously.
Here's healthcare right here, guys.
We've got about 19,000 layoffs through February.
When we go down to automotive,
automotive also mass layoffs.
Stellantis down 26 billion,
Ford, 19.5 billion, GM, 7.6 billion.
I mean, they can only lose so many billions
before they got to close down their company, right?
And when we scroll down to banking and financing services,
remember, this is across the board, by the way.
HSBC, 20,000 person reduction.
And Citigroup is doing an ongoing
20,000 person restructuring, which is the largest.
Also Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and JP Morgan
continue their typical three to 5% annual calls.
Consumer packaged goods as well.
Nestle, remember Nestle?
They're not just chocolate, you guys,
although their chocolate's decent.
16,000 job cuts.
Heineken, 6,000 job cuts.
US manufacturing shed 83,000 manufacturing jobs.
That was lost in 2024.
And the trend is continuing into 2026
with Chevron cutting 8,000 jobs.
All right, guys.
So here's what we're going to do on this video.
Mitch is going to try to help articulate how you adapt.
So I'm going to ask him,
how can people adapt currently in this job market?
And then in 2027 and in 2028,
and then with AI.
So again, the point of this video
is not just educating you guys on what's happening.
We also want to provide the solution.
So Mitch, can you tell mom and pop in 2026,
and we're halfway through the year,
how do you feel the normal mom and pop
struggling maybe behind on their bills?
How do we best adapt in this job market?
MITCHELL FRIEDLANDER The answer is understand
the manipulation.
And I want to reiterate where Travis just was a second ago
in order to answer the question.
Transportation, job losses, why?
Cost of inflation, healthcare, inflationary pressures,
technology, meta, investing in data centers,
which appear to be on the verge of default
for a variety of reasons.
It's a self-fulfilling pushback
on the manipulation forced upon the public.
Younger people are not buying the BS
because they are beginning to realize
that they can't afford housing.
They will have, be it the data centers,
the builders of the data centers,
the creators of the AI,
they will have their handout for government
in the form of a bailout, Nestle, inflation.
What do all these things have in common?
Manipulation and inflation.
Inflation occurs by the Federal Reserve printing money.
That is a fraud.
Central appraisal districts have you to print the money
to supply the central school districts.
The combination is inflation.
Well, Travis's question was, how do you adapt?
And no one can adapt or enhance their skillset
until they have critical thought.
And you can't get critical thought
without understanding the manipulation
and its effect on you and those around you.
Part of this manipulation
is what is occurring
through all these centralized and coordinated entities,
mainstream media, the Facebooks of the world,
the metas of the world.
When you begin to see information coming at you,
that's the same information
that is not necessarily backed up by fact,
backed up by emotion.
You are being manipulated.
And in the document that we have up and coming,
it's up to 332 pages,
I get into great proof of that manipulation.
Quantify.
The point being that in order to enhance yourself,
use the AI and use the technology
against the manipulators.
Get smarter than they are.
And it's not all that difficult when you understand
how you're being manipulated.
And on our third segment, y'all,
I'm gonna try to do that.
And I'm gonna show you what AI I've been using.
And I'm gonna show you what I can do
with just two sentences.
And the reason I'm gonna show you that is because,
again, just like what Mitch is saying,
in order to really adapt,
we have to use these tools in some way.
But we can't use them so much
to where we lose ourselves.
We lose our culture, our artistic nature,
our creativity, our love, our compassion,
our empathy.
AI will never, ever be able to replace that.
And having said that,
let's go into what is likely to happen in 2027.
And in 2028, once the mass layoffs
really start to surge.
2027 forecast, the research consensus
across McKenzie, Goldman Sachs,
the WEF, PWC, and academic studies
is that 2027 is the inflection year.
Pay attention, guys.
They're saying that's happening next year
when AI moves from augmenting white collar work
to displacing collections
of white collar tasks at scale.
And some of this data
is gonna be absolutely shocking.
A separate set of forces,
autonomous trucking commercialization,
the back half of the pharma patent cliff,
and the possible recession risk
converge in the same window.
So massive job loss,
same time recessions happening.
Maybe that's why they keep inflating this bubble.
Maybe every one of the elites
wants the recession and crash to happen in 2027
so they can usher in this all new AI.
I don't know, but this continues to say
AI agents reach production scale for 2026.
This is called agentic.
AI has deployed its pilots
at roughly 37% of large firms.
The base case across analysts
is that 2027 is when these pilots
scale to production.
Goldman Sachs projects agents
will replace about 7% of US roles.
7%, that's over 7 million jobs.
Well over, so that's more like
playing 9 million jobs by 2029
with the steepest single year displacement
is next year and in 2028.
So 2027 and in 2028.
Now PWC forecasts 66% skill,
obsolescence and agent exposed roles.
SSRN research projects up to 7.5 million
data entry and administration jobs
eliminated by 2027.
You guys, I hope you're hanging on right now.
The job categories most exposed
in 2027 are not new.
They are the same ones
already showing pressure in 2026,
but with deeper cuts
as agent reliability improves.
Legal secretary has 75% AI exposure
and I've used some of this legal AI.
It's helpful.
It's not perfect at all.
None of this is perfect, by the way,
you guys, it's just helpful, right?
It takes a task that could take two weeks
and it takes two minutes,
but it's going to have errors.
Medical secretary, 63%,
general office clerks, 50%,
customer service representatives,
80% automation risk.
That is absolutely insane.
And one industry estimates
that there's going to be 300,000
truck driver jobs per year gone
because their autonomous
trucking is coming, guys.
Autonomous trucking is coming.
Now, manufacturing jobs.
Also, guys, several economists,
including Eric Woodward,
identified 2027 as the year
robotics adaption catches up
with AI software adaption,
meaning manufacturing
and construction may begin
to experience the kind of disruption
white collar work began absorbing
in 2025 and 2026.
This is the most uncertain part
of the 2027 forecast.
Physical world automation
has historically progressed
more slowly than software.
So that's actually reversed now.
But the combination of agentic AI
for planning and a maturing
robotic supply chain
could compress the timeline.
And then listen to this last thing here,
guys, the recession risk,
a widely discussed scenario
from researchers projects
that AI driven white
collar displacement
and continuing tariff drag
combined to push the US
into recession by mid 2027
with the unemployment rate
exceeding and percent by 2028.
Now, before going to Mitch,
let's listen to this young adult
talk about why they don't
want to work anymore.
And if many adults comment below
have her same thought process.
I mean, I feel that same way.
I'm like, I'm working so hard.
I'm trying to help all these people
and I'm still struggling.
I just want to give up
and be a beach bum, right?
I have those feelings, right?
I can't do that.
I have a family I'm supporting.
But my point in saying this is,
is our culture and our communities
and our hope as human beings,
it's going to get hit
if we're not prepared
and we don't understand what's coming.
Someone explain this to me.
A husband goes to work
in an office eight hours a day.
A wife goes to work
eight hours a day in an office.
The kids go to school
eight hours a day.
Everyone feels like they're
in a prison institution
between the hours of eight to five
under yellow fluorescent lights,
typing all day long.
Then everyone finally comes home, burnt out.
The kid has like three hours
of homework and sports
and you get maybe two hours
with your family before bed.
And then we only get two days
out of the week
where we're completely free
to do whatever we want.
We used to be outside.
We used to be farming,
living in communities.
Now we're in front of screens
all day long,
in pointless meetings
with micromanaging bosses.
I cannot tell you how many meetings
I've been in that
I've been completely pointless.
All of this could have been
a three sentence email.
I have three bullet points
worth of action items.
Yeah, it had to be a 30 minute meeting,
but nope.
I have to spend hours
every single day
in pointless meetings.
People in corporate,
what else are we using
other than fireflies
to not crash out on our job?
All right, guys,
before I get into our next segment,
which I'm extremely excited
to show you what I've learned
about AI.
First, let me ask Mitch a question.
Mitch Vexler, my friend,
my colleague.
How does mom and pop adapt
if we're about to lose
14 to 20 million jobs
in the next two years?
It really comes down to
understanding the manipulation
and it's being used
as a precise weapon
against society.
So correlated data
being the collection of the data
and then it is correlated
creates patterns
and those patterns
are then turned around
and tailored in an argument
that is framed and repeated
across multiple platforms
simultaneously.
To maximize the impact
upon mom and pop.
So when you're casually scrolling
and scrolling
through what you believe
are your regular channels
of influence,
the reality is
that you're being
overtly coerced.
You just don't know it.
This is brainwashing
by algorithm
and it is anti-critical thinking.
So to Travis's question,
how do you deal with this?
Understand the manipulation
is job one.
That's the first step
towards dealing with this.
Recognize that you're being coerced.
You're not being told the truth
and that what you think
are apps that are legitimate
if they're collecting your data
and transferring that data
amongst other platforms,
whether you realize it or not,
you are being coerced.
So the tools of this coercion
and the manipulation
are confusion,
eroded trust,
division,
and it's not just in the people,
but it's in the institutions.
One gentleman at the beginning
was saying that people
just got laid off
that have been there
for over 20 years.
To them,
they now feel
that they have been manipulated.
Probably true.
But the institution,
be it their employer,
has failed them.
Therefore,
they're not likely to have trust
in future employers.
So critical thinking
and a government
that recognizes the intended,
and I'm underlining the word intended,
failings and manipulations
and is willing to counter
those crimes,
that is the strongest defense.
And this happens
not just at a government level,
but the defense of independent thought,
not being led
by the criminality of socialism
and socialist policy
is one of the greatest challenges
that society faces.
It's in your family,
and it's in the institutions.
It has to be countered.
It has to be forced into submission.
So why is this happening?
Well, control the person,
control the money,
control the population.
Those are the three steps
that ends up
if people lose their ability
to think critically.
You can't fall victim
and should not fall victim
to what is in fact crimes.
And very shortly,
I've got 332 pages of the evidence
on its way
that outlines how these crimes are occurring
and who's responsible.
Yeah, and I may try to convince Mitch
to do a live this evening to go over that.
I don't know yet,
but I'm going to get into branding
and I'm going to get into adapting.
And in order to do that,
and again, I'll lead you guys
into what I've learned with AI.
I'll show you the programs
that I'm using and capable of.
But I want you guys to pay attention
to this next video
and what this man has to say
about what's going to happen next
in the job market
and how to adapt.
The job market is only going to get worse.
And here is exactly why in the next few years
it's going to get worse for candidates.
Especially in 2026,
there's going to be a huge number of layoffs.
That's both from big companies
like Amazon and JP Morgan
all the way to the mid-level size companies.
And even though they're profitable
and they're having record sales,
they are still cutting jobs.
And the reason for this
is they want to increase their profit margins
for stakeholder value.
And they're going to do that
by employing agents, not people.
Now, to start with,
this is only going to be for entry-level roles,
but it will creep up through the ranks.
On top of that,
job boards have completely changed.
Five years ago,
you could go on a job board
like LinkedIn or Indeed,
you could apply for a job
and you most likely get an email.
Nowadays, job boards are just fully automated.
They're full of bots and fake job posts.
And it gives this fake impression
that the job market is healthy,
there's lots of opportunities.
The reality is majority of them
are not even real.
You have internal hiring increasing,
so basically companies
employing their own employees.
And you also have a lot of bot
and pretend jobs to gather data.
Inflating the job numbers
and making it look like it's easier,
but it actually isn't.
It's actually the opposite.
It's getting worse.
And finally,
we're now in a generation
where everybody has a degree.
Everybody has the same qualifications.
30, 40 years ago,
having a degree meant something.
It was viable and it was rare
because not many people had it.
But with the information accessible
so instantly in today's generation,
everybody can learn every skill,
which means that everything gets diluted.
That obviously increases the talent pool
and it also increases the competition
between candidates,
despite a slowing growth of jobs available.
Now, all three of those elements
have been happening
for the last two or three years,
but now it's accelerated.
And the scary thing is,
it's only going to get worse
throughout 2027 and 2028.
Now, of course,
nobody can predict the future
and what's actually going to happen.
But what I have a gut feeling about
is that there's going to be
a huge paradigm shift.
There is going to be a segmentation
of people and classes.
I'll probably make a part
to explain what I mean by that.
But if you've watched
to the end of this video
and you're worrying
about the future of your job,
then you need to do one thing.
The biggest change
that I've made in my personal life
and I've seen hundreds
of successful people do the same
is building a personal brand.
Because building a personal brand
is the only value
that you can truly intrinsically have.
Because as humans, we are unique.
We have imagination.
We have creativity.
And AI will never be able to replace that.
So if you are genuinely worried
about your future of your job,
start building a personal brand
and a reputation now
and start developing a network.
So then people know who you are
and why you exist.
And that is something
that no one can take from you.
I guess the first thing
I want to show you is Claude.
This is what I've been using
and what I'm going to do.
I just typed in the sentence.
I'm like, please draft.
First of all, some people still think
that like this AI and Claude is really good.
I'm using 4.7 right now.
It's just something like to surf the web.
Like you ask it a question,
not realizing that this stuff
creates so many different documents.
I've made ordinances,
criminal complaints, so many things.
And so in order to show you guys this power,
you still got to proofread it.
All I did is put this in here.
Please draft a bill to be turned
into Texas Ledge to abolish property tax
to be replaced with a 13% sales tax.
That's all I typed.
And let me show you what comes up.
It drafted two bills.
This is absolutely insane.
Is it perfect?
Absolutely not.
This is absolutely, I'm telling you guys,
it's not perfect,
but it gives you a structure to build off of.
This goes into the findings and the purpose.
This is insane, guys.
I mean, look at this.
Without one sentence is pulling
in tax code section 101.101B.
This is absolutely amazing.
So you can go through this, right?
Look at it.
It's still here.
That one sentence created all of this.
Isn't that incredible to you guys?
And so what you guys could do after this,
if you have a complicated report
and Mitch and I started doing this
because it's kind of complicated,
what we're doing is I'll select
all of this text.
Remember, I just made this
with just that one sentence.
I'll copy this.
Then I can use an AI like notebook LM.
Okay.
So notebook LM really good
for like infographics, slide decks,
even videos that we'll make.
And I just go to copy text.
So right here, all I do is paste this in here,
insert it, and then I can create
this infographic right here.
Now it still can't replace me
because I'm going to use this infographic
to help teach people
and to help explain the complexities.
I thought this was amazing.
Mitch, one sentence got us a bill
and an infographic.
Look at this.
The Texas tax shift,
abolishing property tax
for a sales tax model.
And it takes you through this
whole thing right here.
Even talks about how essential items
like food are exempt.
So not all taxes are going
to go up 13% hypothetically.
And then it goes into property tax,
replacement funds, school cities.
I mean, this stuff is pretty incredible.
But it comes with a huge warning.
If all we do to live our lives is use AI,
then don't we stop becoming human?
And doesn't things start
getting dysfunctional?
And speaking of dysfunctional,
I want to show you guys
just a couple of clips
of some of the dysfunction
that's going on right now
when it comes to the employers.
Yesterday, this recruiter calls me.
She's been trying to get ahold of me
for like a couple of weeks now
for a position, right,
with this organization.
And she gets on the phone with me
and she's like,
oh, yeah, we're looking for someone
with a bachelor's degree
and six years of experience,
of relevant experience
for this position that's opened up.
And it's a position
that's relevant to me.
And I feel like I had
like at least six years
of experience technically
for what they were asking for.
You know, if I can, you know,
sauce up some stuff, whatever, right?
They asked for six years of experience
and a bachelor's degree
and they were offering
$45,000 to $50,000 a year
full time in person.
I didn't know how bad
the job market was.
I didn't know.
I wanted to report them to someone.
I just didn't know how
who to report them to.
What?
So, Mitch, how do we properly adapt
to AI without losing our souls?
Before I answer that question,
I just want to make a comment
on that lady
who had a recruiter call her.
More than likely, the reason
that the fee being offered,
salary being offered was so low
is because the recruiter
is picking up a much larger fee
in the middle.
They're playing both sides
against the middle.
Be very careful
when dealing with recruiters.
With regard to AI,
it's extraordinarily strong today
with graphics.
There's no doubt about it.
But somebody has to write the text
for those graphics to grab.
And AI cannot write your story.
It cannot write my story.
It cannot write the evidence.
It can only do what it sees.
So, Claude, in order to be connected,
requires access to your computer,
your files, your emails,
depending on what it is
that you are training it to do.
So that means that your data
is now sitting up somewhere
on the cloud for the world to see.
How do you know that that data
doesn't end up in the wrong hands?
Now, ask yourself this.
What if that information
that rightfully belongs
on my hard drive,
stuck in a safe somewhere,
is now going to be used against me?
And you willingly gave it up
in favor of what you believe
AI can do for you.
It's not that AI isn't capable,
but there's a cost to that capability.
Is it worth the risk?
Something to think about.
Well said, Mitch.
And if you guys want some more stuff
to think about,
don't forget to go to Mitch's website,
mockingbirdproperties.com.
When you go to board slash dcad,
you can get all the information
and all of the abolishing property tax,
all the stuff we're doing.
And after that, guys,
if you want to go to my website,
and by the way,
everything's linked in the description.
You guys can go to my website.
I have so many courses,
especially if you guys want to fight
your local councils
and your local boards
to try to create change.
There's a lot happening, guys.
And I hope this video was helpful.
We're not saying, like,
be completely sold on AI.
What we're saying is
this is an incredible
technology advancement.
And if you use it properly,
you should be able to stay standing.
But if you use it not properly,
like ignore it completely
or let it run your life,
there's probably going to be
horrible, tragic problems.
And having said that,
if you guys can just comment below,
let us know what you think.
And also let us know
what you want to learn about.
And if you guys can,
please hype the video,
like the video,
comment on this video,
share it and know
that you are loved
and that your voice is important.
Having said that,
you guys, once again,
happy Sunday.
If you're out there
just trying to figure out your life,
you guys already know
we wish you luck
and we hope you win.
